Chapter 8
A talk with Elf
“We must inform the King about Krokon and organize a party to kill him, as fast as possible.” said Ogrek.
“He’s already been informed” said Revarin.
“Seems like we have to meet in particularly now.” said Mystcot.
“Like you took me that day.”
“You were taken to the King, but were not taken there, neither was anyone of us. It was just a projection and you were in a field accompanied by the King and his powers where your sword would’ve been unlocked.” Said Marmok.
Amnophia started, “Anyway, he ought to be killed, I have fought him myself before, when he was trying to kidnap many elven children.”
“It’s his usual job.” said Eleen, “Stealing children, sending them to monsters.”
Mystcot said, “Anyway we will talk with King, what are you doing here elf.”
Amnophia started, “What am I doing here, I came to learn about human ways, travel a little in the scout, and of course the treaty also says so.”
Mystcot turned to Leofin and asked, “What’s her name.”
“Amophia.” said Leofin.
“It’s Amnophia.” said Amnophia.
“I like Amophia better.” said Leofin.
“Huh, who made you a fighter man.” asked Amnophia.
“Anyway Amnophia, what do you really want.” asked Marmok.
“I think I told you already.” said Amnophia.
“Guys, give me and her some moments alone, I am sure she is reliable. Let’s talk about important matter.” Mayoko said.
“You always think to be having a way with elf wife. Marmok, Revarin, we have to meet the King.” said Mystcot.
The three prepared to move, they formed a circle and vanished from there.
Mayoko showed Amnophia to the corner, another part of the house, her room. Then Mayoko started, “So you are a Gemlet.”

“How do you know, and how do you shoot like an elf.” asked Amnophia.
“The Relumatsan, and an elf friend.”
“You must have forced her.”
“No, she was a gemlet just like you, accompanied her in her travels, shot arrows, learned arrow techniques and when she received her gem, yes gem not gem-stone, I was granted a Gem too, yes my body acted as a gem for me. She received a separate gem, the Relumatsan grants and takes gems.”
“Is he the one who creates it?”
“No and Yes. He can create an elf gem or gm-stone, or any other power stone but he usually discovers them than creating them, traveling with the people in need and helping them find it.”
“Where do I find him?”
“You can’t, nobody can, the only possibility is…”
Suddenly Leofin knocked on the door, then said, “The King and the few others are amidst us.”
“If The King has arrived, this must not be good.” sighed Mayoko and followed Leofin, Amnophia hesitated for a bit longer then followed Mayoko.
When Mayoko and Amnophia entered the room, it had been changed a bit to make it fit for the King. Really, an extra chair had been put at the table and the table was filled with food, though none ate, not even the King.
There was someone along with the King, Remuka the sorceress, the daughter of the King.
The King was standing and was having a talk with Ivan, when he noticed Mayoko, he bowed, “Welcome and greetings Mayoko to our party, we need your arrows in our mission.”
Mayoko said, “Greetings King, I proclaim my service to you.”
“I have not come as a King, but as a soldier, hence I am your friend.” Then the King turned to the Elf, Amnophia and said, “Would you care to join our group in search of Krokon, to travel from villages to villages, freeing everyone from crooked hands.”

“It would be my pleasure.” said Amnophia.
“Then friends lets discuss the plan.” said the King.
A tradesman was walking along with his carton in the town. A dark wooded man was following him. He went over to the tradesman and talked of what was there to be traded, paid silver coin and brought a few candles.
His friend was waiting at another corner. He said, “How much did you rob of him.”
“3 gold pieces and 17 silver ones instead of a silver one, he did not even see me reaching his pouch.”
“Great, now we can live a whole month with this amount of Gold.” said his friend.”
“Not so great.” interrupted a sound. “If you had joined me you would have been rich by now and would have been ruling this area, but you are too insensible.”
A man came out of the shadows carrying a sword, he said, “I am Mermokia, the son of silver, carrier of sword of peril.”
“I know you Mermokia, what is that you want.”
“Krokon and I are surrounded, many along with us carry their weapons of carry their weapons of glory, we need gifted ones like you Zeemaz, we are going to overthrow the king.”
“And.”
“All those who are with Krokon will be rewarded.”
“In gold.”
“In powers.”
The King and his new band had prepared for travel and were ready to go. Remuka went away from there, she being just a link between the courtiers and the King and some other important persons.
They were dressed as tradesmen and were on a cavern, Ivan on the horse leading the cavern, there were extra horses too, the cavern had been magically enlarged from the inside. They had decided to travel by land than apparating since they might lose some of the views of people in need.
Amnophia had decided to go with the King as her as her only hope was Mayoko and Mayoko was with the King. What did she have to lose, an elf’s lifetime was seven centuries and she was just seventeen years old.
The King talked to Leofin, “So you are the only warrior with us.
“I guess so.” said Leofin.
“Interesting, your sword has a shape of dermesters which is a unique combination of human and elf sword. You must be well provisioned with it, huh.”
“Well not exactly provisioned.”
Amnophia asked, “What did you speak of elven sword.”
“There used to be elven warriors but are not seen presently, so we believe they stopped existing.” said the King.
Ivan was riding at the front and was now listening to another tradesman. Ivan stopped the cavern temporarily and said, “We have to stop now, this is the place where there are no sentries.”
“Most likely to be attacked.” said Amnophia.
“Exactly what we want.” said the King.

They didn't move for a thousand years... "Admiral Grant," the King suddenly shouted. The soldier's head snapped up in surprise. "Yes, Your Majesty?" "Wake the Giant." The rust peeled off like dead skin, falling into the ocean and revealing the shining metal body beneath. The ground shook as the gears began to turn, their grinding heard for miles.
