《Raine》05 | Zack

"Raine." The blonde said.
"Zoe." Raine, stared down at by the towering lamppost, flicked her heavy strands of hair still damp from the rain in guilt.
"You..." Zoe started, and Raine tensed, readying herself for the torrent of scalding magma that Zoe would unload on her.
The blonde's dark eyes carefully searched her face. "Who was that?" Her words were cloaked, strangely, in a hesitance uncharacteristic of her impatient nature.
Raine blanked at her bland response, masking her shock at how merrily Zoe worded her sentence. Her edgy friend almost sounded patient! "Not Zack." Raine replied gingerly. Zack disappeared on her, or actually, his contact on her phone disappeared on her.
"Where's Zack?" The previous air of tentativeness, as though never before present, dissipated, a foggy mist in the morning chilliness. Zoe looked at her, and Raine could read her pooling lagoon of expectation splashed across her face. They weren't best friends for eight years for nothing.
"My phone died." She forgot to charge her phone. The blonde's stare prompted her. "And I lost his contact." She swiped it the wrong way so it disappeared on her with a poof. Yes, it disappeared on her, not the other way round.
"Did you leave the company name card?" Zoe asked.
Her damp curls shook with her head. "Didn't get one." Even if she did, it must have went to take an impromptu backpack trip on the garbage truck.
A beat of silence ensued.
"You... know him?"
Raine flowed with the abrupt switch of person of discussion, knowing she wouldn't be able to avoid it. "No."
Zoe's gaze intensified. "Where did you find him?"
"In a taxi." Her reply was nonchalant.
A long pause. "You got him a contract yet?"
Raine opened her mouth: "...I'm about to." Yes she definitely did not forget about the contract.
"Don't forget."
"I will." Raine promised, once again refreshing Zoe's outlook on her careless nature.
"My office's the one upstairs, open the glass doors this time." Zoe flicked Raine's forehead, sighing. "Change of clothes are in the usual locker if you need them."
Her lips lifted, a dimple peeking. "Thanks."

I Played The Role Of The Adopted Daughter Too Well
When I first came into the book, my goal was just to survive.
8 496The Line That Separates Them.
My name is Kobayashi Miya, a freshman at 'Haru High School'. I am what people refer to as an untouchable existence. A girl that is just for them to admire and judge as they see fit. A mannequin that can be manipulated by their overbearing expectations and desires. Even those around me see me as someone of exalted status, someone superior to them, someone they should look up to and admire for what they think I am... A perfect woman who excels in everything. However, all of them are completely wrong, I am just a normal girl... Scared, timid, naive, and above all else, hopelessly in love... My name is Kawashima Takumi, a freshman at 'Haru High School'. I am just an above-average student you could find anywhere. A run-of-the-mill high-schooler who gets enough marks and plays sports for enjoyment. My existence is that of a person whom one could easily live without feeling a sense of loss, but wouldn't mind having around to give their lives that extra something. Or, is that just how I want people to perceive me as I peacefully wash away my quiet high-school days? Nobody would care enough to find out if not for her entering my life.
8 185How Everything Started
A story about a peculiar pair of university students who knew each other from the past, but after reuniting with each other, their situation from the past turned into the other way around compared when they're still at their middle school days? A story full of harsh and bittersweet yet romantic encounters. "????????? - Dono yo ni Hajimatta - How Everything Started"

Kelves Weaver is the last of his Caprimet clan after a war between humans and the Magicant people resulted in all Magicants being sent to a dimension called the Sealed World. He lives a depressing life alone in the wintry region of Winstead, keeping to himself and indulging in his vices to pass the days. When Geralt, a Caprimet from a different clan, finds Kelves and invites him to meet his sister, Kelves's journey to opening his heart suddenly begins. Everyone finds themselves getting a bit more than they bargained for, but that's not always a bad thing, is it? Prequel to Because This World is Loved and the Medlia series.
8 108Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.

"I will break you like a stick" he said, running his fingers across his blade. "Suffocate you till you can no longer breathe" his fingers went to caress my throat. "And I will enjoy every second of it", Our eyes connected. My heart pounded against my chest at the promises that were held in his eyes. I'm dead. ********* Dawn Turner was anything but normal. She's the type to go pick up a pencil she had dropped and then drop it again while picking it up. Clumsy by definition, she manages to fall into trouble almost everyday. However, the day she met a certain fallen angel, she knew that she had gotten herself into BIG trouble. Especially since she managed to hit him across the head...with a pan...three times... Not to mention shrieking, and I quote "DIE BITCH DIE." But let's not get ahead of ourselves, that's a story for later on.
