Kung Fu Panda: The New World Order

Author notes: Hey guys, welcome back. I again apologized for the long wait. But work and covid have been hectic. But I thank God for giving me the break to write this chapter. Anyways onto the story.

Fenghuang's house

“A Crusader agent?” Asked Fenghuang.

“Yes. And we need your help.” Said Silverfang.

“Why me?” Asked Fenghuang.

“Not sure, our bosses told us to acquire you. Now the same deal that apply for Scorpion, will also apply to you.” Said Silverfang.

“And what deal is that?” Asked Fenghuang. Silverfang used the end of his tail to reach into his bag and pull out a scroll. The white serpent then lay the scroll onto the coffee table and unrolled it. Fenghuang quickly read the words written on the scroll, her eyes slowly enlarging as she read along. When the female criminal was finished reading, she turn her head toward Silverfang. Fenghuang narrow her eyes, staring at the snake.

“This can’t be right?” Asked Fenghuang.

“Unfortunately it is. So what will it been feather brain?” asked Scorpion.

“How’s about neither.” Said Fenghuang. The female owl jumped off of the sofa. The ceiling fan above is currently on. Fenghuang used her great skills and cause the fan’s blade to cut her binding. Freeing her. Fenghuang landed perfectly on her claws.

“Uh oh.” Said Scorpion.

“Sigh……I guess we’re doing this the hard way then.” Said Silverfang, who got into a fighting stance.

Valley of Peace

Jade Palace (12:30 pm)

Travis took a sip of his mint tea. The young otter is waiting for everyone to finished their forth trip up the stairs. Around him laid most of his “students”. Po, Tigress, Monkey, Viper, Nu Hai, Jing, Bao, and Fan Tong. Only Crane and Mantis remain.

{Not bad. Yesterday they all only made two trips up and down before I had to call it quits. Now, they have double their results. Very impressive.} Thought Travis.

“I…….can’t……feel……my legs.” Said Nu Hai, who is struggling to breathe properly.

“Well the point in this specific training is to work on your legs. Ah, look like everyone is now here.” Said Travis. Both Mantis and Crane finally arrived up the stairs, both clearly out of breathe.

“Okay everyone, I have order lunch, it’s in the kitchen. You all have 1 hour and then we continue.” Said Travis.

“Enough!!!” yelled Tigress. Who stood up. Sweat cover her entire body, her chest is moving rapidly, her legs were shaking and her patients have run it’s course.

“Beg your pardon dear?” asked Travis.

“Just what is the point in all of this!? We have been running up and down these stairs a total of 12 times. The artifacts will be activating in less than 4 days. And here we are doing nothing!!!” shouted Tigress.

Travis slowly blink, staring at the female tiger. The young otter sigh and stood up, placing his tea cup down. Travis then snap his fingers, releasing the special weights off of everyone. Travis then slowly walked toward Tigress, said female narrow her eyes at the younger male. Travis stop a few feet in front of Tigress.

“Tell me Tigress, have you ever seen the movie called The Karate Kid?” asked Travis.

Tigress raised a eyebrow.

{What does a movie have to do with what we are doing?} Thought Tigress.

“Yes I have. But what does that have to do with……..

Travis cut off her question, speaking quickly. “In the movie, it shows that things never comes instantly. It takes time, and everything, small or big play a role. What I have been doing with you all these past day and a half will result into something big. But I can see that you need to see, before you believe.” Explained Travis.

The young otter took a few steps back. Never taking his eyes off of Tigress.

“We will spar for a few minutes. You and me. Now.” Said Travis.

Tigress quickly got into a fighting stance. Everyone watched the two. Travis rushed Tigress, jumping in the air. Tigress easily dodge the younger otter and tried a roundhouse kick. Travis duck the attack, he got on his two hands and lay out his feet. Travis then began to spin on his hands and used his feet to attack like a spinning top.

“Wow.” Said Po and Nu Hai.

Tigress is able to block all of Travis' attack. Tigress then time him perfectly and grab hold of one of Travis' leg. With great strength, Tigress easily lifted the young otter into the air and threw him high in the sky. Travis quickly tuck in his body and did multiple backflips. The otter landed safely on top of the wall. Travis jump down off the wall, landing on one of his knee. The otter slowly stood up.

“Is that all you got, kitty cat?” asked Travis with a smirk. Tigress growled. She rushed after Travis but the speed she was going was not her usual speed. Travis quickly side step as Tigress ran into the wall, hard. Tigress’ body landed down, her hands covering her nose.

“Tigress!” yelled Po.

“What the hell!?” asked Viper.

Travis walked toward the now injured feline, looking down at her. Tigress only open her right eye, staring back at the otter.

“You okay?” asked Travis. Tigress slowly nod her head. Travis held out his paw. Tigress slowly remove his hands from her face and grab hold of Travis' paw. The otter grunted and pulled the much heavier female up.

“I……that wasn’t my usual speed. I couldn’t……control myself.” Said Tigress.

“I know. Now do you see?” Asked Travis.

“Yeah. I do. I just felt so fast. I felt like my Chi automatically went to my feet and I was moving far faster than my usual speed.” Explained Tigress.

“Exactly. After another day or two with the weight. Then we can start to practice on how to fully control your new speed. But it will take time. Time which we have.” Explained Travis.

“That was so cool. I want to continue training.” Said Nu Hai.

“After lunch. You all got 1 hour. Then we continue.” Said Travis. Everyone nod their heads and ran/crash toward the kitchen. Travis chuckled, walking toward the kitchen too. Tigress quickly lay her much larger paw on top of Travis' shoulder, stopping him. Travis turn around, looking back at the older woman.

“I………I am sorry. For losing my temper and getting angry.” Apologized Tigress.

Travis shrugged his shoulders and smile at the female tiger. “Its okay Tigress, I understand. Now hard feelings. Now let’s hurry and get our lunch before Po and the others eat everything.” Laughed Travis. Tigress smile and nod her head. The two walking into the palace.

Fenghuang house

Fenghuang. A former leader of the Furious Five, one of China top 5 female fighters, a mistress of the forbidden fighting style, a world class assassin (just recent) and a wonderful love maker. All of these and many more. She have few equal, and even fewer who surpasses her. But never before have she thought that she would meet another person like Po. Scratch that, this person surpasses Po by a long mile.

After she free herself from her previous binding, she quickly attack Scorpion. It took her less than six minutes to quickly defeat the eight legged female. And just when she was going to deliver the final blow, she was intercepted by Silverfang. Of course Fenghuang laughed at the fertile attempt and thought she can easily make another example out of the white serpent. But she was so wrong. So very wrong.

Not only this she couldn’t landed a single blow on the white serpent, but he easily defeated her and somehow bind her once more. This time, her body is wrapped is rings made out of Chi. Fenghuang tried to escape her new binding but it only results in said binding to tighten its hold. Fenghuang glare at the serpent, who is helping Scorpion up. Scorpion glare back at the much bigger female before walking into the kitchen.

“Are you going to be okay?” asked Silverfang.

“Yeah. Just going to heal my wounds.” Answered Scorpion. Silverfang nod his head and turn his full attention toward Fenghuang. Silverfang gently wrapped his lower body around the owl and easily lift her and toss her into the sofa.

“Neat huh? That is a technique created by a friend of mine. Very useful when restraining a target. Now with that out of the way, now we can talk……again.” Said Silverfang.

“Talk? Just who the hell is you? There are very few people who can match me in a fight, and very few who can surpass me and beat me.” Said Fenghuang.

Silverfang sigh and slithered in front of Fenghuang. The white serpent look deep into the female owl eyes. Both not blinking, just staring right at the other. Scorpion walked into the hall and saw the two.

“What the heck?” asked Scorpion. The female Scorpion just look between the two, not sure what is going on.

Ten minute have passed and Scorpion is truly amazed. Neither Silverfang or Fenghuang have blinked. Both just staring a hole into the other. Finally both blinked at the same time. Silverfang sigh and slithered a few feet away from Fenghuang, next he tap the end of his tail three time before the ring vanish. Fenghuang flex her wings a few time, her eyes never leaving the duo. Silverfang clear his throat a few time.

“Listen. This is your one and only chance to change your life. You will be pardon of all your crime. Everything you have ever done will be forgiven. All we ask in return is your help.” Explained Silverfang.

“I rather work alone. The last time I team up with people, it didn’t ended so well.” Said Fenghuang.

“Look, I don’t like working with others myself, especially Po and the Furious Five. But……this deal is legit. I can finally like a normal life, a life without worrying, a life that I don’t have to look behind my shoulders, worrying about the cop and a hero. I want this. And I know you want thus too.” Said Scorpion.

Fenghuang scoffed at the other female. “I want power, I crave it, I need it. This deal won’t give me power.” Said Fenghuang.

“Actually, we will give you power. Or to be more accurate, we will train you all to be more powerful than you ever were. But……it’s not to be used for evil.” Explained Silverfang.

“I am nothing but evil.” Said Fenghuang.

“No you are not. Once upon a time both you and Scorpion were good. You still have good in you. You both can make a difference.” Said Silverfang.

“But why me?” asked Fenghuang.

“To be honest, I am just following orders, and one of then were to recruit you and Scorpion. Why? Only our bosses know why.” Said Silverfang.

Fenghuang stare at the white serpent, then she turn her attention toward Scorpion. Scorpion only shrugged her tiny shoulders. Fenghuang sigh. The female owl walked toward the kitchen, ushering both Scorpion and Silverfang to follow her. All three stood inside the kitchen, Fenghuang nodded toward the chairs around the table. Both Silverfang and Scorpion took their seat. Fenghuang quickly boiled some water and got the ingredients for mint tea.

After a few minute, Fenghuang have pour all three a cup of tea. All seated and all taking a sip of their tea.

“I want a few more things added to this deal.” Said Fenghuang.

“What!? If she is getting more to her deal then I also want more.” Said Scorpion.

Silverfang sigh. “I will listen to the both of you. You first Fenghuang.” Said Silverfang.

Fenghuang nodded her head. “I want money, lots of it. I say 3,000,000 yen would be enough. I also want a 10 square of land and a new 10 storages house.” Said Fenghuang.

Scorpion’s jaw hit the table. Silverfang raised an eyebrow. These were…..foldable. Silverfang nod his head.

“Deal.” Said Silverfang, who grab the scroll and a pen, he quickly wrote want Fenghuang wanted and used the special sign of approval, making the deal official. Silverfang handed the scroll toward Fenghuang, who stare at it for a few moments before taking the scroll. Fenghuang unrolled the scroll and read it. After a few minutes, she nod her head.

“Just don’t expect me to change my attitude or anything.” Said Fenghuang.

“I can live with that.” Said Silverfang with a smile. The serpent turn toward Scorpion next. “So, what more can I add to your deal?” asked Silverfang.

“To be honest, not much. I only want a few more money.” Said Scorpion.

“Will 3,000,000 yen be enough?” asked Silverfang.

“That’s a too much. Only 1,000,000 yen will be enough for me.” Said Scorpion. Scorpion held out her scroll. Silverfang grab hold of the scroll and wrote down the added deal. Which is everything that Fenghuang asked for. Silverfang smile and gave it to Scorpion, who gasped at the new added deal.

“Now let us rest for a today and head out for The Valley of Peace tomorrow.” Said Silverfang with a smile.

The Valley of Peace

The Jade Palace

Travis placed his now empty dish into the sink. Viper is currently doing the dishes.

“Thank you Viper.” Said Travis with a smile. Viper smile back. Travis then turn his attention toward the others. Everyone have finished eating, and are now just relaxing. Today was a huge success on training. Travis is very proud of everyone. The young otter clear his throat, gaining everyone attention.

“Okay everyone. So here is the rundown. We have four days until the first artifact is active. And I give us another day or maybe two before you all can be classified as Flash Step Practitioners.” Said Travis.

“Alright!” cheered everyone.

“Hahaha, now that just leave two days left. And during those two days we will be focusing on another technique. This technique will go very well with Flash Step. Now, tonight we will be on patrol. I will be needing two volunteers.” Said Travis. Almost instantly, both Po and Nu Hai paws went up.

“Me, me please pick me!” Cried out Po.

“Me Travis. I want to go patrolling tonight.” Said Nu Hai.

Travis placed his paw under his chin, thinking. He took notice of everyone, Jing and Bao both looked tired. Tigress is staring at both Po and Nu Hai. Monkey is currently sleeping (or faking to be sleeping). Crane is using his hat to cover his face. And Mantis is trying to escape from the kitchen. And finally Viper, who finished the dirty dishes.

“Viper and Po. You two will be going with me tonight on patrol.” Said Travis.

“Yes!” yelled Po.

“What!?” yelled Viper.

“Aw man.” Said Nu Hai.

Travis nod his head. “Yes. We leave in one hour. Pack whatever you need to get through the night. I will meet you both at the front gates in one hour.” Said Travis.

“Travis, I can’t patrol tonight. I got plans tonight.” Said Viper.

“Oh? And just what are these plan? If you don’t mind me asking?” asked Travis.

“Actually, I do mind. My personal life is mine, not anyone else.” Said Viper. Before Travis could say any else, Tigress intercepted.

“I can patrol with you tonight. Viper can patrol next time.” Said Tigress, who knew what Viper's plans are.

“Unfortunately, I can’t accept your help for the moment Tigress. The reason why I chose Po and Viper is because of their visual power. Po’s vision base power allow him to see in the dark. And Viper's vision base power allow her to she great distance. Both are very good for night patrol. And besides, we will only be patrolling until 3 o’clock.” Explained Travis.

Tigress open her mouth to argue but couldn’t. What Travis said were good point.

“My next choice would be Bao and Jing, but both are very very tired. So Po and Viper have to be my next choices.” Explained Travis.

“But my plans……” Viper tried. Tigress laid her paw onto Viper. The green serpent turn toward her best friend. Tigress gave her a sad look. Viper sigh and nod her head.

“Why don’t you all go and take a short nap. I can pack you all something to eat for tonight.” Suggested Tigress.

“That’s a good idea. Thanks Tigress. Everyone turn in for the night. Tomorrow we continue training, but a little late.” Said Travis.

Everyone except for Tigress exit the kitchen. Tigress quickly took out a few containers and got to work.

Travis, Po and Viper all enter the Valley of Peace. To Travis great surprise, the town is packed and lively. The young otter took a look at his wrist watch, the time read 9:00 pm.

“How the heck this valley is so crowded on a Wednesday night?” asked Travis.

“The valley have always been this way.” Said Viper.

“I see. Quite nice, I can see myself partying a lot here. Anyways, here is the plan. We will split off for now. Po you patrol the eastern side of the valley. Viper, you patrol the northern side of the valley and I will patrol the western side. Got it?” asked Travis.

“Yap.” Nodded Po.

“I guess.” Said Viper.

“Then I guess that leave me to patrol the southern side of the valley.” Said a voice. All three turn toward the direction of the voice, all spotted Tigress, who jumped down a few feet away from them.

“Tigress? What are you doing here?” asked Travis.

“I decided to help you three with tonight patrol.” Answered Tigress.

“Awesome. We need the help. And your vision base power can be useful.” Said an exciting Po.

“Not really. But I won’t refuse a helping paw. Very well. We have our orders. We will meet back here at midnight, that’s three hours from now. If you are in trouble, just raise your Chi level. The rest of us should notice it and come to your location.” Said Travis.

“Yes, sir.” Said Po, who salute the younger otter. Travis and Tigress both rolled their eyes at the eager Panda. Viper giggle at her friend/master. All four walked toward their destination.

Viper silently slithered in the western side of the valley. She made sure to hide her Chi as best as she can. And used her new vision base power to try and locate her “new" young master. After sensing and seeing that the course is clear, Viper continues toward her real destiny. Viper soon arrives I’m front of a regular size house. The green serpent gave the door a few tab. Then looked around to make sure that no one is near. The door open halfway, which is more than enough for the female kung fu mistress to slithered inside. The door quickly closed.

Travis sigh. The young otter is stoop on top of a building. The young otter shook his head before Flash Stepping away, continuing his patrol.

Jesus. Is. Love.
