《You World》Chapter 2

The ball vibrates. It seems happy with your reply.
“Here ya! Here ya! My little children! The long awaited Monarch is finally here!”
From the floor, countless other smaller balls pop out, bouncing around. In a matter of seconds, thousands of balls appear in front of you. Half of them are celebrating the coming of the new Monarch.
This amount of living balls shocks you. You remember how not so long ago you were thinking that you were alone in this place!
“Listen well my adorable children,” the big ball shouts. “Even though he is our Monarch, he is still weak and fragile! He definitely needs your power to succeed!”
All the balls vibrate, turning around looking at each other. You wonder if they are communicating telepathically.
Some of them happily flash with different brightness, yet still white in colour. Then one by one they begin penetrating and passing through your body. You can feel each passing ball transferring their powers into you, and power building up in your body.
The train of balls seems never ending, but you are enjoying it. This feeling of your body getting stronger is amazing. You feel so happy.
Just when you were most enjoying this, the last ball passes through your body, formally ending the power transferring process.
You then have a look at your new body. The first thing you notice is that the colour of the skin is back, and your muscles are stronger. You feel your hair resting against your chest, and it doesn’t seem to bother you that much. You are now wearing the outfit of a great Monarch. You can’t stop admiring yourself. Remarkable stuff.
This is the new you, and you feel great.
You quickly inspect your surroundings, your perception now fifty times sharper than before. You can clearly hear the sounds of falling balls on the ground, as they dissolve and re-join with the ground below. It looks like the balls are dying out after giving you their energies.

However, you notice that there are a lot of balls left looking at you. These vibrate, then slowly descend back to the ground, disappearing from where they came from.
Shortly, all that’s left is the great you standing before the original ball. The ball gazes at you.
“I had selected you and summoned you to this place because I believed you are the most fitting candidate. I’m glad you didn’t betray my expectations…”
You walk slowly towards the ball and calmly ask, “Who are you and what is this place? Why have you summoned me?”
The ball looks deeply into your eyes, then laughs. “Oi, aren’t you asking me too many questions?”
The ball vibrates itself, distorting time and space. A large silver door appears not that far away. You can see the metal gates of the door slowly open, revealing a pitch black entrance, and you wonder where it leads too.
“Now listen well to what I am about to say. The world you will soon be entering is a harsh place, though your newly obtained power should aid you.”
“And about your mission and why I summoned you here, this will be revealed to you over the course of time. I trust you will survive until then. Farewell, your majesty.”
As soon as he finishes his speech, a stream of powerful winds pulls you towards the dark entrance. You feel helpless because you cannot resist the force of the winds.
As you travel, you wonder what you will find or who you will meet in this new world.

Hi there, my name is Jason Corvus, you can call me Raven. My parents really (like a lot) wanted to have a boy, so when they found out that I was a girl, they still put me a boyish name.
