The carriage continued in it’s path without delay, soon it reached a large residence near the end of the capital. The residence had a large thick walls covering the entire place with a gate in front of them guarded by two knights, the carriage proceeded to the front gate but…
[Halt]
The horses of the carriage was stop by the spears of the knights crossing together, this drove confusion to the lady inside the carriage but she quickly responded by knocking on the walls of the carriage to signal the knight beside her. The knight beside the carriage heard the knock and hastily took action.
[The third princess of the Boreas Kingdom requests an audience to his Majesty King Nicholas Arnaud.]
The knights guarding the gate was startled for a second, they weren’t informed that a princess of a kingdom would come. As normally one would need to send a formal letter regarding their arrival, be it nobles or other royalties from distant kingdoms, no one’s an exception. This is a manner of respect that every kingdom knows whenever one visits the king or ruler of a certain place.
The guard, although still perplexed ordered the other guard to inform the palace about the princess’s arrival.
[You may enter]
The guard opened the gates and bowed to the carriage that’s passing on the gates.
After entering what met them was a wide road with bushes at both of the sides of it, and at the end of the road one can see the huge structures standing in front. The residence was in fact the palace where the king of Ranella kingdom resides
The lady inside the carriage on the other had strayed deep within her thoughts,
(How could they not know??)
She had a lot of questions and suspicion but can’t arrive to a complete conclusion so she set off her thoughts aside for the time being. But she was certain that she could get answers after entering the palace.
Inside the palace courtyard garden, fierce gales of wind was blowing. But this is no ordinary gales like what you would see in a windy or stormy days, rather it was something created from just a simple and ordinary wooden sword. In the middle of it all was a man with a stature similar to that of Rei and a well refined body, his golden hair that sweeps along his movement, light blue eyes that reflected upon the sunlight, and a handsome face to top it all. With the wooden sword grasped in his hands he continued to swing his arms, the force created just from the after effects of his swing is so great that if only he is using a real sword it would’ve cause great devastation to his surroundings. The man had dirty clothes and was heavily drenched in sweat, one can see that this man had been swinging his sword for a long time. But different to what others see, the man has a calm and stable breathing. The man continued with his swordplay, swing, slash, and a stab. Only three motion but he was able to generate such power, one would be mesmerized by the graceful movements by following the sword in his hand.

This man with the golden hair and a pair of blue eyes is the second prince of the Ranella Kingdom, Troye Arnaud.
Troye halted his movements and so the fierce gales, he walked to the corner and placed the wooden sword back inside the rack, then turn to walk towards a servant at the entrance of the courtyard. He grabbed the towel prepared by the servant and used it to wipe the sweat in his body.
[Good work prince]
A brown haired man with a slightly large build, sharp eyes, and similar to his age which was 16, bowed and greeted him. Christopher Grey, his assistant, personal knight, and also childhood friend.
[Haaa… how many times have I told you Chris?? You don’t have to talk and address me formally when we’re at the palace]
[But my prin]
[No buts!]
[l...I understand]
Christopher regarded his duty with high importance that’s why he always addresses Troye with formality, but the second prince isn’t really fond of things like formality especially with his best friend.
[It’s good that you understand]
The people in the palace are always serious so Troye don’t really have any place to relax, the only time when he can enjoy things is when he was either with Christopher or the third princess.
[What is my schedule for today?]
Troye asked Christopher with a smirk placed on his lips.
[A visit to the first prince then your promise to the third princess, a talk with baron Fontier regarding the mine incident. And also the set meeting in the afternoon with the minister of defense regarding the current budget for the Assa.]
Christopher talked to Troye while they’re walking at the hallway, Troye can’t help but snort inside of him. Christopher is a serious man that’s devoted to his job, that’s why even though he wants to slack off and relax from time to time he can’t do it because Christopher is always with him monitoring his actions.
He continued to walk in the hallway with Christopher when he heard loud footsteps closing in to them.
[ My prince, My prince. We have a big problem!!!]
A man with white hair, wrinkled face, and a small mustache ran towards them screaming.
[What’s the problem palace minister??]
Troye caught the man who almost tripped while running to them, he looked at the man whose face is extremely pale. He wondered to himself what could’ve been the problem.
The palace minister on his arms tried to catch his breath for a bit before opening his mouth.
[The third princess of the Boreas Kingdom is inside the palace]
[WHAT!!?]
Troye’s thoughts was thrown in disarray, he wouldn’t have thought that such a person with visit today. Christopher was also shocked by what the palace minister said.

(Why would such a person visit today? And even without an announcement)
Troye thought to himself while wiping the sweat on his forehead, he turned to the palace minister.
[Where is she right now?]
[I’ve led them to the guest room my prince]
[You did a good job]
Troye patted the shoulder of the palace minister then turned to Christopher.
[Come with me Chris]
[Yes my prince]
[Ohh right palace minister, tell Roselia that I’ll be late]
And with that, the two of them hurried to the guest room to meet the sudden guest, slowly they’re reaching the guest room. Troye’s heart pounded faster and faster the more he became closer to the room, his anxiousness is reaching its peak. His thoughts are going haywire at this moment, he just hopes that they didn’t come bringing ill intentions.
And at last, the door in the guest room is right in front of them. He slowly placed his hands on the silver door handle, then he pushed the door open.
[The second Prince Troye Arnaud is entering]
As Troye pushed the door, Christopher announced his entrance. Troye’s eyes landed on the table at the center of the room.
There, he sees the beautiful lady sitting on the couch in the left side of the table, the long jet black hair that’s rare in the kingdom of Ranella, her red plumb lips, the pointy nose, soft and silky looking skin. One would be mesmerized by that rare beauty, Troye stared a bit to the lady before walking in with Christopher in tow. The lady got up from her seat and…
[Greetings Second Prince, I am the Ellena Freygaurt, third princess of the Boreas Kingdom.]
Ellena slightly bowed in front of the prince.
[Welcome to our kingdom princess]
Troye returned the courtesy and also bowed to Ellena.
A few minutes back.
After finally arriving at the palace they were met with the white haired mustaches man, he introduced himself as the palace minister. Ellena greeted the palace minister and he also greeted back, although he’s clearly flustered and anxious the palace minister still administered the knights and offered her to go to the guest room.
Ellena was led to the guest room by the palace minister, she sat on the couch with her two guards standing behind her.
She thought about the strange actions of the guard at the front gate and the palace minister, they acted surprised as if they don’t know about their arrival.
(But how could they not know?)
Ellena fell in her thoughts when suddenly, the door opened! A boy with golden hair and a pair of blue eyes came out of the door. And after that came the announcement of the guy behind the golden haired young man, she was startled for a bit but quickly regained her senses. She slightly bowed and greeted the prince, the prince also greeted him back.
[Let’s sit]
Troye gestured for them to sit down, Ellena sat back to the couch and Troye sat on the opposite side of the table.
[Forgive me for the discourtesy princess, but why have you suddenly come to our kingdom?]
Troye didn’t beat around the bush and got straight to the question, he looked at the young lady anxiously waiting for an answer.
(They really don’t know!)
Hearing the prince’s words, Ellena’s thoughts finally cleared up bit by bit. She had been thinking on why did they not know ever since he entered the gate, now she finally have a complete conclusion.
(The envoy)
The messenger that was supposed to have arrived a few days earlier to give them a letter and inform them about the arrival, since the palace doesn’t know about their arrival, that means that something must have happened to the envoy. But the path they took is a relatively safe one and no one was inform about the trip beside their king, a few executive’s, and the participants of the trip itself. So if something happened to the envoy it was likely planned and not just coincidence, she thought for a bit.
(This is an insider work)
(Someone from the executives must’ve intercepted the envoy so that the trip would fail)
Ellena thought of who could it be, but nothing was coming to her mind. Although she doesn’t have an evidence, she’s pretty confident to the conclusion that she came up with.
(I need to investigate this when i get back)
Even though she reached a conclusion, there is still a crisis that remains. And that is how should she explain this to the prince, and even if she was able to explain it, the prince would most likely not believe it. But there’s no other way since the envoy is not there, it’s just straight up being disrespectful for her to visit without prior notice. Ellena gulp her saliva down her throat , she readied herself before revealing her predicament.

The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.
