Beautiful scenery can be seen from the dark forest as the moonlight shines upon the trees. But contrary to its beauty strange mythical beasts often roam around the forest making it one of the most dangerous places in the world, especially at night. That’s why many people wouldn’t even think of going to this location as they would only be seeking for their deaths.

*Rustle*

A silhouette suddenly emerges from the darkness, from there appears a beautiful woman in a robe that is carrying something in her arms as she rushes out of the forest.

*ROAR*

A loud sound rang throughout the forest.

Five unknown shadows tail the woman as she runs outside the forest.

[General we’ve found the target]

(Shadow 1)

[Mmmm.. just follow her then we will retrieve the item.]

The unknown man spoke as he looks at the dark forest with deep thoughts.

[What shall we do about the woman]

(Shadow 1)

[capture her alive we can still make use of her]

[[Yes]]

All the shadows responded in unison.

[Huff… huff]

The woman reaches the end of the forest and sees a small cave.

She then proceeds to go inside the cave to rest and relieve herself from exhaustion.

But just as the woman sits to take a rest.

[Uwaa]

The sudden cry startled the woman.

A baby with a stone necklace on his neck can be seen in the woman’s arms

[Shhh shhh… don’t worry it’s going to be okay]

The woman tries to calm the baby down by embracing him as to not let the pursuers notice them.

But just as the woman thought that they’re safe, she heard a cold looming voice behind her.

[So you’re here!]

The woman turned pale as she turns her back to face the unknown voice.

Then she sees the somewhat familiar man and the four shadows standing behind him. It was general of the shadow unit and besides him are the four of his shadow aides.

[You already know why we’re here so I won’t beat around the bush anymore. Where is the stone?]

(Shadow General)

The man permeates a cold dark aura around him that makes the woman sweat in fear. But the woman soon resisted the aura and replied

[Heh! Do you really think I would tell you where it is]

(Woman)

The woman replies with a hint of mockery in her words. This anger’s the man but the man tried to keep his calm.

He then makes an offer to the woman.

[I’ll give you one last chance tell me where the stone is and I will let you and your baby live, but if you don’t tell me where it is, death is the only thing that awaits you!!]

(Shadow General)

[Do you really think I would believe your bullshit? I’d rather die than tell it to you]

(Woman)

The woman refuses to tell him where the stone is.

The general snaps at the woman’s words.

[Y…You]

(Shadow General)

But just as they finished to speak blinding flashes of blue light begins to radiate from the baby’s stone necklace.

The light coming from the stone is akin to that of the sun this causes the general and the shadows to be rendered of their movements.

The General is shock by the sudden burst of light but he soon recovered from it.

He then sees the item on the baby’s neck and shouted to the shadows.

[QUICK!! Get the stone necklace on the baby’s neck]

But... its already too late.

A complex magic circles and runic formations begins to form around the woman and her baby.

[It’s done]

The woman whispered to herself.

Tears began to flow from her eyes giving a sorrowful expression as she was about to part with her child.

[Grow well my child]

The woman embraces her child one last time as she was saying her farewell into her child.

Just as the shadows about to grab the stone necklace the baby disappeared.

The shadows are confused to what just happened.

The baby is gone and so the stone necklace, all that’s left is a cold body of a woman lying on the ground lifeless. The general is also confused about what just happened then…

[God damnit… SEARCH FOR THE BABY AND THE STONE!!]

The man shouts in anger as he orders the shadows to find the stone and the baby. The man gets furious on how the things ended, the woman is dead and the baby is gone along with the stone necklace.

[How am I suppose to explain this to the emperor…. Tsk.]

The stone necklace radiates faint glows of light as it envelopes the baby with circles of runic formation to protect him as he is traveling across a vast and endless void.

From there you would be able to see the seemingly infinite fabric of time and space but not only that you could also see entrances to different kinds of dimensions, alternate timelines and parallel universes.

Though absurd as it may sound there are more much mysterious things and unexplainable phenomenon’s throughout the whole Cosmos.

URSULA MOUNTAIN RANGE

An old man and a child about 7 years old can be seen walking at the foot of the URSULA Mountain Ranges. The foot of the mountain is abundant in many different types of medical and magical herbs so many visits to pick out herbs. The mountain is also home to many demon beast but you will only meet one if your trip is to the peak of the mountain.

[Rei don’t wander around too much you might get lost.]

[Ok Granpa]

[We’re not here to play we’re finding medical herbs.

Now search near that tree I’ll search here.]

The old man scolds the child to warn him the dangers of the mountain because there have been some instances that low class demon beast descended from the mountains to find food.

[I wish I could play along Hailey and the other’s, not picking up herbs]

Rei complains in his mind then imagines different things that he wanted to do with his friends when they return to the village but that came to a stop when a bright light suddenly flashes at the face of Rei causing him to scream.

[AHHHH!!]

The old man was startled and quickly runs to the side of Rei to protect him, the old man thought that maybe he encountered a demon beast. The old man was worried for his grandchild as he was the only one left in their family

His father died to a demon beast while working as a mercenary and her mother also died from an accident a year ago. He’s the one only left to the old man.

[REI!!]

The old man screamed to find Rei.

Then he arrives and got to Rei’s side thinking he was in grave danger.

But what the old man saw was not some fierce beast but rather a cloth that is wrap around something as it let out a bright glow around it. The old man breathe out an air of relief to see his grandchild safe.

[Uwaa]

They heard a cry of a child coming from the cloth.

The light soon died out as the old man slowly came to the cloth and unwrapped it, there he saw a harmless little child with a necklace.

[What is it Granpa]

Rei curiously asked

Then the old man kneeled so rei could see what is in the cloth.

[Huh it’s a baby!!.. Woow!!]

[Can we keep it?]

Rei surprisingly ask his grandfather to keep the cute child but the old man insist that maybe it still has a family around so they searched for hours around the foot of the mountain.

The sun has already set and they haven’t seen anyone so they’re search came to a halt, they immediately returns home because it’s dangerous in the URSULA Mountain at night.

They arrived at the village.

At home the old man tells rei to help him prepare the food so they can eat.

[Granpa can’t we just take him?]

Rei ask again his grandfather After finishing his meal.

[Hmmmm..]

The old man considers his grandchild suggestion.

(Well we found no one in the mountain so there’s really no one who can take care of the child *Sigh*)

The old man sighs in his head then said

[Fine fine we’ll take care of him]

[YAAAY!!!]

Rei jumps in joy and happiness. He didn’t have any brother or sister so he is happy that he will have his own little brother now.

[Well the child is already fast asleep, you should also sleep first so you can see him tomorrow morning]

The old man replied to his joyous grandchild. Then he cleans the tables and plates.

After cleaning the table the old man sat besides the child. He stares at the child and pondered to himself just how could a child end up at such a place.

[Poor child just where are your parents?? *Sigh*…

Don’t worry from now on we will take care of you]

The old man looks at the sleeping baby then he notices a necklace hanging in the child’s neck he then proceeds to grab the necklace but as soon as he touched it.

A faint blue light radiated from the stone and the old man slammed on the floor and lost consciousness.
