《Rise of the shaman》The trial 3

The wolf, if you could still call him that, threw himself at me. So I roll around to dodge it, because if it fell on me I was finished. so I started to distance myself from him and threw one of my fireballs at him. Once this one formed I sent it towards the wolf but what was my surprise when a dark energy came out of its shadow and engulfed my fireball.
"What the hell is this thing ?"
As I began to get a little more distance, spears formed of dark energy attacked me. "Wait, he can defend himself and attack. I have to be able to think of a plan because I can't beat it by going straight to him."
I had to find a way to hurt him, because if I don't, I'll be the one to die.
so I started to distance myself and once I was far enough away I started to think. "So I've got three fireballs left to face this monster except there's a big problem and it's that he can absorb them thanks to this dark matter. How do I do it ? "
As I was thinking about it, the words of Werecat came to my mind. "
"Darkness is trying to invade this space of light. .so that it can contaminate it.
-Why do they all want to take this place apart ?
-because it can hurt them.
-Hurt them ?
-You'll understand later."
So I had just figured out how I could defeat him. "So I had to produce light, and what better way to produce light than fire."
"But first I must be able to make him believe that there is nothing I can do against him to make him let his guard down and then I will strike."
So I had my plan, but now I had to carry it out. So I began to attack him from a distance with the stakes I had planted on the ground because he was not going to fall into such a shabby trap because since this entity provided him with his powers, he has surpassed the intelligence of a mere animal. So I started to attack him from the front but as I thought this energy still protected him but before he could see me I had disappeared but he managed to find me thanks to my scent. So I had to make this handicap disappear and what better to make a fire to mask my smell. The environment was perfect because the wood was very dry so at the slightest spark all wood will be catch in fire.

My goal was not to set the whole forest on fire because I know that even if I mastered the fire I will not be able to get out alive from a fire of this magnitude and maybe the beast will not even lose its life. So I just had to set fire to a place in the forest that would disturb his sense of smell without being dangerous to me. After some time I finally arrived at the right bottom of the forest, I could not use a fireball because I had only 3 left and if I use one now I will surely regret it later.
My mouth swelled up and I shouted "Katon fireball justu" No not the good novel.
My mouth swelled up and I spattered a jet of flame that ignited the leaves that I had gathered at my feet. The first part of my plan was achieved now I just have to wait this monster. While I was waiting I heard a huge scream in the distance that sounded like lightning.
"It seems that my friend's here."
In the distance you could see the wolf but a dark aura enveloped him.
"Shit, this thing is already active it's going to be problematic but we're going to do with it. I'm going to become a shaman and not just any shaman but the strongest one so if I can't handle this big dog I can say goodbye to my dream". I took a branch that was at my feet and dipped it in the flames that were around me. Once the branch was on fire, I threw it at the wolf, but he did something strange. Indeed he just pushed it away and didn't absorb it. I had to continue my experiment, I threw several more burning branches at him and he pushed them all back. So it can't absorb a physical object, it's an interesting information because it can help me to defeat it but I have to try to find another weakness for it because I can't attack it just with this information.
This time I was behind him because I still hadn't attacked him in that position. I repeated the same action flaming brach thrown at him in his direction except that it hit him .Indeed the black energy don't stop the attack. After this shock the wolf howled and turned around and looked for me he started sniffing at me except that he could not distinguish my scent among all the smoke around us. So I only had to attack him from behind. So I began to attack him with all my strength and after about ten branches, he began to stagger and some of the dark energy began to enter his shadow.

"More shots and he'll be finished but I have to be more patient because he may have a trump card that could reverse the situation where I'm the prey and he's the hunter."
So I started to form one of the few fireballs I could still use and finally it was in my hands but it was twice as big because I had used two fireballs to create it.
"Okay, I hope that's enough to kill him."
I threw it at him and it hit him and it exploded on him. After some time the smoke around him disappeared and I saw his body, I approached him with my makeshift sword in my hands and stuck it in his carcass. His body didn't move. He was dead. So I sat down a little further away from the corpse to catch my breath, but as I started to get up I felt a breath on my shoulder. I hadn't even had time to turn around when my back was slashed and as I turned around I saw that the wolf had got up.
"It's not possible he's dead." But I noticed that black wires were controlling his limbs. "He's dead all right, but the energy's darkening the control crap why didn't I think of that ?
I was too confident but I must not give up I can still defeat him even just with a sword".
So I took my sword and raised it to the level of my chest to defend myself against most attacks.
"The first one to move wins." For the first time it was me who threw myself at him and not him. This surprised the entity that controlled him, and no sooner had he taken a step back than I plunged my sword into one of his eyes. Indeed as I am blind myself I know how hard it is to fight without seeing so I had to deprive him of his sight so I will have a considerable advantage over him.
After several exchanges I came out with several injuries to my right leg and torso.
"Well, this time it's the right one, you can say goodbye to your sight."
I threw myself at him and I was able to pierce his eye except he ripped my left arm out with his jaw. I was in a lot of pain but I knew that if I could defeat him I would have finished the trial and come back to the real world with no injury. The wolf began to give claws and jaws attack everywhere around him.
So I yelled at him, "You son of a bitch, come here!"
Attracted by the noise he threw himself open-mouthed at me, but that's what I was waiting for. I formed the last fireball that I could throw and threw it into his mouth. He was not expecting it and exploded from the inside. This time it's nice and well finished. As I was about to lie down, a light appeared at my side and I saw the Werecat.
"Is the trial over ?
He nodded his head and said, "You can go now."
After that a white light enveloped my body and I lost consciousness.

The struggle for an interesting game has been the story of my life for quite some time. Every game I find is either too easy, not interesting or too short. Luckily, my two brothers who match my level of skill, albeit in different areas, tend to spice things up. When I look at my older brother I have no idea how he gets anything done when he's such an idiot. Still it doesn't detract from my respect for him as a gamer, though maybe a little. When I look at my younger brother I marvel at the monster that my older brother and I created. Deadliness, craftiness and quiet, both in what he does and how he is. When it's just us three we tend to destory everything in our path. So normally we tend to compete rather than team. Although that isn't to say we're just good as individuals. When we work together our effectiveness multiplies rather than lowering. Well enough about us dorks. Anyway a new VR game came out, apparently in development for quite some time. Of course my older brother decided to drive out and buy three copies. What would this one be missing? Difficulty? Depth? Length? In any case I plan to reach the top before my brothers do. It was a competition after all. Twoen had all three things I normally yearn for in spades. Something I did not foresee. A keeper
