《Oh, I'm A God?》Chapter 1 : Arrival

OOH!
That really hurt! Man, my head is giving me the biggest headache. What just happened? Why does everything hurt?
Woah...Looking around everything is on fire!
Woah, woah, woah, what's going on!?
Where’d my chair go?
To think I was just playing on my laptop a second ago, and now I'm in the middle of a burning city.
There is literally apocalyptic levels of shit going on right now!
It's really hot around me. Just how long were these fires burning for exactly?
This isn't exactly the kind of place someone would normally be.
The sound of the fire burning would actually make for some good white noise if I wasn't actually in the middle of it.
Okay Bell, calm down.
I should calm down and breathe. There we go, in… out … in … out.
WAIT.
You're not supposed to breathe this hard in a fire!
Oh man, I just wasted a ton of oxygen.
I probably just breathed in a ton of ash too.
Is this how I die?
I'm really going to die because of a stupid mistake a third grader wouldn't make! How embarrassing, really.
Hmm...
Maybe I should actually get off of the ground.
I've been laying on this dirt road for a bit now. I should stop being so lazy and figure out where I am.
Alright, let's do it! Are you ready, body? And up we go!
Alright, the first priority is getting out of this fire.
I don’t think it’s a good idea to be slow and walk, so let's run.
Is it just me or do these buildings look a little old?
Like really old?
No wonder this village is on fire, it's all made of wood and brick! So old-timey.
Oh, oh man. This isn't good. Oh man, are those bodies?

They don’t look alive either.
Was there some kind of battle that I missed?
Now I don't get out much, but I'm pretty sure this blood on the ground isn't fake or some kind of prank.
This is really bad I should -
“HELP!”
Huh? What was that? Was that a woman screaming for help?
This is just my luck, isn't it.
First, I wake up to a burning village, and next, there's a woman in danger too close for me to ignore!
If I end up going to save her, I might end up needing help too. And it doesn't look like there's anybody else around to do that.
I was never the type to go around saving people. Hell, even go outside really.
Am I ready for this?
Ughhhhh!
Fine, I'm going to go save the lady.
I'd feel guilty if I just let her die. Besides, there's a chance that if I save her she might know a path out of here.
That's ideal but anything is possible.
I hope whatever she needs help with isn't too hard or dangerous.
Okay, I made it around the building. Let’s see what's in store. Woah, it’s a lady and she’s got pink hair!
She's stretching her arms out protecting something. It better be important enough to risk your life over!
Wait, what's she defending it from?
Woah, woah, woah!
AAH!
It’s a giant spider!
That's a way bigger spider than I've ever seen.
Where am I, Australia? It's as big as a toddler!
Oh man, it's getting closer to her.
I would've passed out by now if I had arachnophobia.
Oh great, she sees me and is screaming help pretty loudly at this point. Alright, there's no excuse for running away now.
What am I talking about, yes there is.

I want to live!
But If I end up trying to run, the monster might sense that and their primal hunting... something will kick in and target me.
I doubt pink-haired lady would help me then.
Alright, let's try to save her.
So, what can we use? We have a sword over here. Oh, there's a shield right over here. A bit of red stuff on it, but I'm not going to question it for my sake.
Let’s a go!
My first move was a success. I've managed to get myself between the lady and the spider.
Ugh, those fangs.
They’re literally dripping with venom.
You can see the venom sizzle as it hits the ground!
It's cold eyes, a pure blood-red. It’s staring at me with it’s cold, beady eyes.
Truly scary.
Alright, so what's the plan now?
I guess the only thing to do is to try to hit it, right?
As if it read my thoughts, the monster lunges at me, its venomous fangs shown in full.
I bring up the shield right before it hits.
CLANG! I got it to hit the shield instead of me, but the spider knocked me to the ground.
Ah fuck, this isn’t good.
“RUN!”
Hopefully this lady gets away before it's done with me.
Not that I plan on dying or anything. If we both die, that'd defeat the whole point of me being here.
Aah! What was that?
Damn, my leg!
It bit me!
That damn spider bit me!
Man, my leg feels like it's on fire. I can feel the pain spreading through my veins like lava.
I can barely think about anything else!
Aah, this isn't good.
Especially if I don't kill this thing soon.
I would've died for nothing!
Where's my adrenaline? Isn't that supposed to help dull the pain? Because I'm feeling everything right now!
At this point, I'm just swinging wildly, hoping for a hit.
Ah hahaha! I DID IT!
I cut off two of his legs!
“SCREEEE!” The spider monster makes an unnatural sound as blood (blood? It looks purple?) spills out from its new holes.
It suddenly drops as the blood from its body gushes out in a final spurt.
Eww, eww, eww, gross. That's disgusting.
For some reason, I don't feel the blood hitting my leg. In fact, I don't feel anything at all. Oh yeah, my legs are numb. In fact, I can’t move at all.
Before I can get the chance to enjoy my victory over the beast, the fires start to grow grayer.
Man, I really wasted my life. I spent nineteen years laying around in my room, just to die here. I mean, it's not like my life had much use, so I guess saving this lady helps make my case to whatever afterlife exists.
If I ever get a second chance, I want to live my life to the fullest!
No regrets!
Taking every opportunity I get to the fullest and see everything more positive!
Ugh, but that's just wishful thinking,
Man, it’s getting dark.
So dark.
I should close my eyes for a bit.

Maitbudi
Fermboi was a man of one ideal: make the weak strong. When his rebellion against the king proved futile, he was given another chance at life. This time, he sought to do nothing after realizing the hopelessness of it all. Aventina wanted to do nothing more than to follow her father’s footsteps. On a retaliation raid against her tribe’s enemies, her brothers perished. Spared by a leader of her enemies, she returned home to find herself the chief of her tribe. Bolahulag, half-civilized and half-barbarian, half-lowborn and half-royal. Raised in his mother’s civilized tent in a sea of barbaric shelters, Bolahulag was hesitant to follow his paternal way of life. After a battle between a civilized king and his father, Bolahulag was sent as hostage to learn the economy and military of the nation his father defeated. Derai knew nothing more than being an orphan, but when a merchant took her in, the world she thought impossible soon became a reality. Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.

The Virtue of a Starless Sky
Days have turned into weeks, weeks into months, and months into long years without a single sign from the Heavens above. The mythical immortals that once protected the world of Oseo have seemingly vanished in the wake of a mysterious phenomenon that occurred only recently — the startling disappearance of a large portion of the night sky and, with it, the gradual decline of Spiritual Qi.In a steadily decaying era where cultivation is becoming increasingly difficult to practice, vast empires, ancient Societies, and powerful organizations have all begun to fight to secure the last remaining Spirit Stone mines and Spiritual Qi leylines across the world. There is little hope for peace now that the final century of cultivation has dawned on Oseo, but to Laude Tellstar, a simple mortal farmer, none of that mattered. As an ordinary mortal who had no interest in the world of cultivation, Laude had considered him exempt from the fearsome conflict raging across Oseo until he was forcibly drawn into the fray one fateful day… by a single, stray bolt of lightning. After that, his life was never the same again. Dragged into a dying world of cultivation, Laude’s journey to expunge his cultivation base and return to mortalhood will take him across Oseo and into the shadow of a heavenly conspiracy so monumental that it could endanger all of Oseo and beyond…

Neophyte: Common Route
A story about self-discovery, interpersonal relationships, magic and magical creatures-- and a silent war. Marsha is about seven years past adulthood and still feels like a scared child in her parents' home. This is exacerbated when she discovers her father has apparently keyed up his destructive, sadistic habits-- leading to a mad dash out of the house with precious cargo in tow and only one idea where to go. This begins her journey, leading to a discovery that will change her life forever. And she never wants to go back. (Warnings: Lots of descriptions of abusive, sadistic and otherwise traumatizing and triggering behavior that a parent perpetuated toward a child or multiple children. Descriptions of violence, a main character with emotional issues that will be dealt with, and a whole lot of the 'aftermath' of battles in a war. Even a few descriptions of some of those battles. Things of that nature. If you can't handle one of those, please do not read.) {I had this idea to write a 'common route' and then 'romance routes' like they do in otomes? Book 1 is the common route, and then at book 2, you choose your love interest. Each of which is encased in their own book.}
