《Neb, just a Nobody》Chapter 4: Eating

So the gang went to Viviane’s place, her house was located in the outer middle area of the city so the houses were a little bit classier than most of the people in the gang. Her house has two floors, not a mansion but it’s larger than a living room, dining room, and kitchen in the same room that most of the people she hangs out with.
“Woah! I did not know that Vivi has a gigantic house!” It was Binca that said the words that the gang was thinking right now because it was also their first time going there.
“Stop it fucker! You fucking country bumpkin” Nicole pulled Binca back to stop her from snooping around and break Viviane’s stuff.
“Haha Stop it, you guys, Let’s go to the kitchen” Viviane pulled everyone into the kitchen which is in the same room as the living room, it was only separated by a counter.
“Shit! Your kitchen is fucking lit Viv” Gyo was shocked at the shiny kitchen that was presented to him, to him it was like he was sent to heaven, he was always cooking in a clean old kitchen, everything was almost passed down from his ancestors.
“Haha calm down now Gyo and cook me some good noodles” Viviane patted Gyo’s back as he was pushed into the spotlight as the cook of the group.
“Well then leave it to me!” Gyo pulled the sleeves of his shirt and proudly said with a smile.
Then everybody left Gyo with the two girls, sat quietly in the living room, and started discussing some in-game things they noticed in the new game. With Veran and Neb were Nicole, John, and Daniel. Two of which haven’t uttered a single word in the previous conversation because one was focused on playing a mobile game and the other was reading some book.

“Yow! John stop playing, also Daniel stop reading already, and talk to people it’s fucking weird that you came in with us and haven’t said a single word” Veran Scolded the two as he places a piece of paper on the center table, along with a pencil.
“Alright, so what are we gonna talk about?” Daniel and John said simultaneously, as they set aside their book and phone respectively.
“We’re gonna discuss some in-game things that we observed in the game since we technically can’t meet up because it seems that the world is so vast,” Veran said and wrote on the paper, “Each region has the size of one earth,- Official game forums”
“Oh, I got one! You can dig holes, and when you place a dead player’s body in it, fill the hole, so when the player respawns they have a chance to suffocate and die again,” John enthusiastically said. Everybody was dumbfounded but they were used to his savage tendencies.
“Okay that’s kinda funny, I discovered that you can craft weapons and stuff, similar to real-life” Neb Laughed as he tells the others what he knew. “Also if i am right, people from the same city
As they continue listing down the things that they found about the game, Gyo and the girls were halfway done in cooking the meal that would fill their rumbling stomachs.
…
“So in summary the game’s realism is very unique and would let us almost do whatever we want?” Veran scratched his head as he concluded that the game is very real.
“Oh! Lastly Using Magic or something similar will result in mental exhaustion, and you would be forced to log out and be out cold for several hours, but after that I think your mana capacity would be much larger than before, and you would be able to think much clearer.” Neb said and coincidentally finished when Gyo and the girls called them for food.

Then the group ate to their heart’s content, and Viviane got to eat some tasty ramen with handmade noodles, and the others enjoyed a small feast. After eating they helped each other with cleaning the dishes. Finally, the group disbanded and they went home to play the game.
Neb logged back into the game only to see that the pair of statued lovers were hugging each other in an insanely erotic manner.
“Cough!” he coughed loudly to tell the pair that he was back already and is ready to get back to his job.
“Oh kid you’re back already. Love, can you now place images of your sisters into his mind so he can stop disturbing us?” Old man Senex told lady Gehirn that so they could get back to their business, after he said those words the beauty simply complied.
With a simple flick of her wrists, copper red lights flew towards Neb and he succumbed into a state of deep sleep again, but this time he was not logged out by the game’s system, it seems like his mental capacity has increased for him to bear the burden of memory transplantation.
After a while Neb slowly gains consciousness, and he starts to fix the state of his mind as he asks the old man to fetch him another gigantic piece of rock. Senex compiled without a word and brought a gigantic piece of rock. Then Neb started his painfully exhausting work.
He started creating the rectangular base of the figure, then he created the head, accurately he used the magical tools to create the hair, plus carving the face of a strict and caring goddess. Upon completion of the head, Neb started panting as he sat on the bench, as if knowing what would come, he positioned himself in case he blacks out again.
“You must be hungry young man, wait for a moment I’ll get you something to eat” Old man Senex said and disappeared immediately into the woods, but after half a minute he came back with a bag made out of makeshift vines, and it was full of fruits, then handed them to Neb while saying that Neb shout eat all of them.
“Thanks Senior!” Neb expressed his gratitude as he wolfed down the fruits that Senex brought back. There were blueberries, apples, but most of them were mangoes, and the mangoes were very sweet and ripe.
The tiredness was slowly going away as he ate the food he was given, thus after eating half of the basket, he started creating the intricate body of the statue, along with the unexpected battle maid outfit.
After finishing the statue, a ray of blinding light flashed for a second then the statue was alive. It was Lady Asteria, dependable and fierce wife of Senex.

A young boy with a special key finds himself caught up with an old wizard, an ancient prohpecy, and a possibly conspercy. This sounds like the sort of thing most childern would love to be a part of, but there are just three small problems. The first is that he is not the hero. Someone already got that role. The second is that he isn't a wizard. He is a Magician which complicates things. The third is that there might be a chance that the whole 'problem' might be comming from his end. Personally he never understood (or interacted with) the 'secret' magical world, but that becomes a problem when the magical world apparently has what his role is supposed to be according to their ancient book... and they are not to happy about him not matching their book. Still it shouldn't be to hard right? All he has to do is go to a school, learn some wizard magic, make sure nobody takes his key... also avoid dying. Thankfully he has had a lot of expereince with that last part and a bunch of Twig Twirling childern can't be too dangerious? Right?
