《Aurelion》Chapter 17

As I walked into the ring, I was greeted by the sound of cheering. It was a lot more louder than those from the last few battles.
I looked at the other contestants in the ring. On the opposite side from me is a girl with a red mask. She has red eyes and wore a red orange hood.
Next to her was a man with once again, extremely buffed muscles. "I don't know why, but I guess this is a norm. I'm pretty sure only one of those buffed man won so far in this competition." I said to myself
I turned to a man right next to me. It seemed like the crowd was cheering him. He have a fairly well built body. He held a mightly sword. With his short blonde hair, he actually looked like a mightly king.
The blonde man suddenly shouted "Hello, my fellow contestants. I bet that you all feel honour to be able to stand in the same ring as someone as amazing as me, and might even have the chance to fight against me. But, I suggest all of you just admit defeat right now, or else I'm worried you might get hurt."
After his stupid speech, the crowd went wild. I heard random sentences like "oh my, he is so kindhearted. He even worries about his opponents" and "it's already a big honour standing in the same ring with him. I would definitely admit defeat to prevent getting myself hurt if I were them."
"Oh please!" A man said. He is the person standing left of me. He wore a classic wizard hat and robes. He held a staff in his right arm. It was made from a pinkish wood and had a red crystal at the top of it. "It would be a much greater honour to be able to exchange a few attacks with the mightly Arthur."
Arthur cracked a smile. His sword started to glow dimly. It gave off a feeling similar to that from Kishi when he was charging up his attack with his katana. Arthur pulled his sword to his left, then did a horizontal swing to the right.

A powerful gust of air was created from that swing. The gust felt like it could easily cut steel into two. It travelled to the mage. When the air hit the mage, a ton of dust and debris was kicked into the air.
After the dust settled, I saw that the mage was just fine. The staff was touching the ground. He was holding the staff with both his hands. "I believe it's my turn now!" He said. "Hell fire!"
A blazing flame appeared inside the crystal on his staff. Then, a barrage of fireballs came out of his staff and aimed towards Arthur. Arthur sliced the fireballs as it came to him. The crowd went crazy again watching him easily defending against the attacks. After walking a few steps closer to the mage, he pulled back his sword. The sword glowed again. Then, he did a piercing attack "Heaven's stab!"
A powerful air attack was generated from the stab. The air flew towards the mage. It neutralised all the fireballs and managed to hit the mage's body
The mage was pushed backwards. He was still standing with support from his staff. Then, he threw up some blood onto the ground.
"Surrender now. You are already badly injured. You can't beat me." Arthur said
"Hahaha. How can I admit defeat to *cough cough* the one responsible for the death of my family." The mage stared intensely into the eyes of Arthur.
The crowd went crazy once again, this time whispering more than cheering.
"Oh my, he knows hell based magic and said that Arthur is responsible for his family's death. Could he be.... A hellwalker from Lansagos"
"Lansagos? You mean the city Arthur once lead his army into?"
The mage raised his hands up into the air. Then, he casted a spell. "Grip of hell!" "AHHHHHHH" The mage screamed in pain as his body turned red and melt into the earth. Then, a red hand bursted out of the ground. It stretched towards Arthur.
Arthur used [Heaven's stab] again and managed to stop the hand. But then, more hands appeared from the ground around the melted body of the mage and attacked Arthur.

Arthur was the only one getting attacked, so I assumed it's one of those forbidden skills that is used to trade one's life to kill another. I just stood there and watched the whole battle. I know these kinds of spells are basically unstoppable unless the target has a totem or something similar that can revive someone.
I looked at the other contestants. Two of them were frozen in fear, the buffed man looked excited for battle, the hooded girl looked indifferent to the whole battle, and there's one that I couldn't really tell as their face was hidden under a mask.
Arthur managed to fight back some of the hands, but more of them just kept coming. Some of the people in the crowd already started to give prayers while others watched Arthur fight intensely.
Arthur was running out of strength. Then, a hand caught Arthur from his left. He wasn't able to break free. The hand then brought him into the ground from where they came from. Just like this, the battle between the mage and Arthur was over. Everyone stayed in silence.
The buffed man broke the silence. "Hahaha! Now, who wants to surrender better do so now. I won't hold back just because you are a girl and weakling."
The two who was clearly frozen by fear gave up straight away. Then now, only four remains. Me, the hooded girl, the buffed man, and the person under the mask. She wore tight clothes that covered her whole body, except the face which was hidden by the skull mask. I believe that person is a she, based on the body shape she have under those clothes of her.
The hooded girl made the first move. She placed her arms facing upwards on both sides of her body at hip level. Then, her eyes started glowing pink. She was summoning a spell. "Gate of Umminos!"
A collection of different weapons appeared out portals that were floating above the girl. She aimed them at the buffed man. In a split second, the man was rained upon by a storm of weapons including swords, tridents, knives, pitchforks and such. The man was sitting duck, as he couldn't do any at all to dodge at such close range and with such a big body.
The woman took the chance of me being distracted to attack me. She darted over and prepare to stab me with a knife. It's just too bad that I'm the exact same kind of fighter, so I can easily defend against one.
I jumped out into the air and swung a high kick. She quickly ducked down and dodged the kick. Then, she grabbed onto my leg. I wasn't able to dodge it. She slammed me onto the ground and sat on me, trying to keep me down. As she attempted to stab me, I headbutted her in the face and got back up on to my feet.
Then, I darted at her and came in low. I swing my dagger infused with the weakening magic at her waist. My attack just barely managed to touch her. The clothes around the waist was cut and it revealed a little bit of her skin. Her skin was more or less untouched, which means I need to attack her again with the weakening magic before I can knock her out like how I did with Ghork.
The woman seemed mad that I managed to cut her clothes. Then, a barrage of weapons flew my way. I dodge them by jumping backwards. The hooded girl was looking at me. Then, the woman ran towards me again and tried to land a low kick. I jumped into the air. The hooded girl then proceed to launch another attack at me while I was still in mid air.
I shouted "Hey! That's sexist!"
