Percy, Styx, and Nyx and Zagreus were riding on a motorcycle, through New York, when the cop car showed up.

Styx was sitting in the back, while Nyx was driving. That meant I was in the middle. Life sucks.

Suddenly we heard sirens behind them. And saw flashing lights. “Uh-oh” Percy said. Nyx swore and pulled over.

The cop car pulled up behind them. We waited for about ten minutes until the cop actually got out and talked to us. Stupid cops.

The cop walked over to them and said to Nyx “Ma’am, may I see your license.” Nyx glanced back at us nervously.

‘Um, what is a ‘driver's license’?’ Odysseus said in my head. ‘It’s a piece of paper that gives you permission to drive. Some stupid person came up with it a while ago. It’s that thing in that stupid song by Olivia Rodriguo.’ I answered back.

‘Oh. Dam, I hate that song’ he said. (Or is it me? Because it’s technically my soul too.. You know what never mind.)

‘I know right?’ I though back. In front of me, Nyx pulled a piece of paper out of her pocket and used the mist to make it look like a drivers license. I want to learn to do that someday, but they refuse to teach me. Well at least I got Zagreus.

“Very well, Miss Jett, I’m afraid I have to give you a ticket for having three people on one motorcycle.” I snickered internally. ‘Jett? Seriously?’

Nyx gave me an annoyed look, which then turned to worry.

“Wait, three people?” Styx said, sounding worried too.

“Yeah, why? The cop said.

“OH MY GODS, ZAGREUS FELL OFF!!!” Styx said.

Nyx spun the motorcycle around to see Zagreus in the distance, lying on the ground. "Oh, shit."

"Is he dead?" Percy asked.

"Hopefully dead. He was annoying anyways." Styx said.

"Yeah." Mnemosyne agreed.

"And there won't be any proof of us doing it, if he's dead" said Nyx, smiling.

Zagreus opened his eyes. "Okay, first of all, fuck you-"
