《Starship Nyx》Chapter 5: Big Cats
Advertisement
It was time for us to leave the Nyx. The planet had a desert. We flew to the planet. XRN-1 confirmed that it was a fresh air in the planet. We found mass rare mammals. They were mixed of elephant and rhinoceros.
We landed on the desert carefully. I warned my team that the beings were big and they nodded. We wore the masks and the sunglasses due to the sands. Yes, we were ready to meet our fate. I opened the door and we walked out into the desert. The door closed behind us automatically; behind us, the starfighter had turned invisible, blending undetectibly into the desert.
We ran on a long way to a strange destination. There was a big skull and it was a feline. We kept to run. I found any footprints, suddenly I signaled my team to stop. I pointed at the footprints and they were flesh. We followed them.
There was a rondavel. We knocked the door. Anybody was not home, but I just found any big and colorful feline humans. The feline humans looked at us instantly. They ran away like a cat. I signaled my team to stop. Yes, I whispered that these beings were possibly afraid of us.
My team nodded. We took away the rifle and then we showed our face for the feline humans.
"We don't want to harm you," I said to the feline humans.
"Lies!" one of the male feline humans said.
"Why would we lie?"
"Nice try. We have heard it before. You want to enslave us."
"And who would enslave you? We come from another planet. Yes, we met the worst enemies from another planet. It happened twice. We are here to only explore."
"Are you religious?"
"I don't know if the creator exists, but every soul is in every body. We are curious about the other planets. If you don't need my help, so we will leave."
We would go. The two feline humans came out. They had different colors. I asked them if we might come in and the female feline human said yes. We came in. The feline humans wore the traditional clothes
The boyish feline human became afraid of us. I thanked the feline humans for coming in. My team looked at my hand signal. I wanted them to clear the rondavel.
"You are different from us. What are you for something?" the female feline human wondered.
"We are humans from the planet Earth. But one of us is a machine. You?" I asked.
These species called for the maguwo. The female maguwo apologized to hide from us due to slavery. I asked to her if the maguwo knew about us. They didn't have any ideas if they were alone, but they never have seen us before either.
"How long time was the slavery going on?" I asked.
"We don't know. But some maguwos said that it was six thousand years while some said more than six thousand years," the female maguwo said.
We became shocked of hearing. I told to the maguwos about the illegal slavery on our planet. They were sad to hear. My team tried to find the male maguwo.
"What is your name?" I asked.
"We are forbidden to wear a name," the female maguwo said.
"Okay, my name is Mara."
The maguwo was hesitant. I looked at my team. They nodded and said about their name.
"Be not afraid, we are neither the slavers nor your enemies," I said.

The maguwo was hesitant first, then she said, "The name is... Nawiva."
"It is a very exquisite name. Is the young maguwo your son or brother, Nawiva?"
"No, it was a very long story. His sister is my best childhood friend. Matusox promises her to look over him."
I asked about Matusox. He was a high priest. XRN-1 found him. He ran to the door and I hindered him.
"Like we said, we don't want to harm you, Matusox," I said.
"You want to enslave us," Matusox said.
Matusox punched me and I held his hand. He punched me with the other hand, so I threw him down at the floor and held him. His tail tried to seek my stomach. I already held the tail with my legs.
"Please, Priest. They don't want to harm us," Nawiva said.
"Yes, they want to enslave us," Matusox said.
Matusox kept to fight while I still held him. I got an idea.
"A priest doesn't use a violence. What does your God or creator say?" I wondered.
"Forgive me, Agaw!" Matusox screamed.
Matusox cried and I freed him. I stood up from him. He sought for forgiving himself. Nawiva went to him and shook three times on his head.
"Can you tell about this planet?" I asked.
"Yes, I will tell," Nawiva said.
"We listen!"
We got the information about the fate of the slavery. Nawiva didn't know something about her background, though Matusox's family always have been slaves. They never have been free. The soldiers were bigger than the civilians. They used the slaves to build a pyramid, so they payed homage to Smedov or a creator. The slaves were forced to pay homage to Smedov.
There were mass religious maguwos. Nawiva didn't know herself if the higher-ups existed. She was an agnostic like me. Agaw was a pacific creator and Smedov was an injurious creator. The soldiers' king was a godly king with a magic, according to Nawiva's friends. I asked about the magic.
Nawiva has seen the "magic" once before. She heard about the legend thousands of times. It told that Smedov gave an ability to the king's ancestor, but she didn't know how he got an ability from. She has seen him with her own eyes when the unwilling maguwos became willing slaves. I thought that it sounded very strange of the magic. The magic was like controlling mind.
I remembered that there was an artifact in the pyramid. The artifact had to have given an ability to the king. I asked about the pyramid. Nawiva looked hesitant. I was fine, so I became happy to get an information. We were ready to leave.
"Oh right, are there female warriors?" I asked.
"There are a few female warriors. It is extremely rare to have a female warrior in this world," Nawiva said.
I understood what Nawiva meant! She warned us that the maguwoian soldiers would watch us as if they would kill us. I thanked her for the warning and the information. The young maguwo didn't want us to go.
"We will leave, sweetie. And we promise you to live," I said.
"Are you sure?" the young maguwo wondered.
"Yes, I am sure! What is your name?"
"Gadiwee!"
Gadiwee was happy. I said to my team that we would go. They nodded. I thanked the maguwos for the information. We left the rondavel and ran on a long way to the destination. I found a pyramid, suddenly I signaled my team to stop.

There was a pyramid and it was different from our home planet. We never have seen the same thing before. It was a cat head that sat on the pyramid, even the pyramid was very dark. I whispered in Don's, Sophia's and Wu's ear that they had to change clothes. They nodded slowly and changed their uniform to black. Don's body still was very impressive while Wu's and Sophia's body was petite.
I signaled my team later to go when the night would fall. We went to the pyramid, so I found an open door. I pointed to it. XRN-1 clapped on my shoulder. I turned to her. She signaled me to look at the watcher.
I found a tower. There was a big watcher who only looked at the air. We sneaked to the door and entered. Somebody moaned and we followed the moaned sound. There was a cell gate. I tested to push the gate while my team watched around.
The gate was unlocked and we entered. I closed the gate. There were mass skeletons in every cell. We followed the same sound. There was a door. The moaned sound was in the room. It sounded like a man raped a woman.
I opened the door carefully. It was unlocked! I signaled Victoria and Wu to watch after the room and then I signaled XRN-1, Sophia and Don to watch out for any enemies. The team nodded. I entered the room. There was a male maguwo who raped a female maguwo.
I sneaked to the rapist and choked until he died. Yes, I showed my female face for the female maguwo, but she became shocked to see me. She was close to ask. I covered her mouth because she would understand that she had to be quiet. She nodded. I freed her, so she was very happy.
I asked quietly about the female maguwo's name and this swine. Her name was Suowa and this swine was her master. She asked about my background. I explained short. She thought that I was unexpectedly good in my female combat. I thanked her for her mind.
We couldn't stay in this room. I asked Suowa quietly if she would follow me and she nodded. We left the room and Victoria closed the door. I whispered to Suowa that she would come close by us. She understood that she would trust us. I signaled my team to follow me.
We went on a short way to another cell gate. Don opened the gate, then we entered. He closed it. We went on a long way. There was a hall gate, though it was very heavy! It described like an important king got an ability from an overweight bird.
The bird was mixed of metal and feathers. I suspected that the bird was an alien starship. We investigated the gate. I found a little bell. We got a problem. The problem was that we were humans and a robot, even Suowa was a slave.
Somebody would come here, so we hid in a duskiness. It was a heavy armed soldier. Suowa shook her legs and Victoria reassured her. The soldier belled twice and waited. We heard just a click. The gate opened automatic and the soldier went in.
We sneaked in quickly when the gate closed slowly. The soldier went on a way to a room. We followed him. He entered and closed the door without locking. Why didn't the maguwos lock the door? We watched at each other as if we wondered about the soldier.
I signaled that I would attack the soldier. My team nodded. I opened the door and then I sneaked in. There were mass pornographic paintings of the female maguwos. I found an artifact and it was a jade crown with a monstrous eye. It had to be a mind control!
The soldier had to be the king. I needed to destroy the fucking crown! The king removed the armor, surprisingly his body didn't have any scratches. He seemed to be tough. I got closer to take the crown. The king saw me.
"What are you for something?" the king asked.
"I am a human," I said.
"Why are you here?"
"Yes, I am here to explore."
"What the baco?"
"Your ancestors, your grandfather and your father got the same crown, even you. You men are gross! Your son would get your crown, but I met your daughter. Her name is Nawiva?"
The king became silent and I took a yes like an answer. There was a thing of the king's weakpoint. He wished to have a son. I nagged about the son. The king would take his crown. I threw him away. He would punch my stomach, suddenly I threw the crown down at the floor. The crown was destroyed.
"You can't kill me because I am immortal," the king said.
"Oh yeah! I know, so I can remove your immortality. Now, XRN-1!" I said.
Something exploded. The king's body blooded at the same time. I went slowly to him and he looked at me. He wanted to know how I removed his immortality. How did I find his immortality first? I found another problem when we investigated the gate before.
Somebody didn't watch at the gate. The gate was a religious object. It was about the immortality. I found a weak point of immortality. We laid the bombs at the gate. The king became impressed.
I also found that every king taught every generation in mind control until it became a girl instead. Naviwa never told about herself because I surmised that she was the first in line to the throne. The king didn't want to have a girl. I told that it was sexist and explained. The king kept to bleed. My team came in and then all guards came with Nawiva to us.
The king fell. Nawiva became a queen. The young queen abolished the slavery instantly and ordered all guards to arrest the slavers. They ran away. Nawiva asked about our planet.
After a long time, Suowa asked her queen about Gadiwee. They seemed to know each other. The queen didn't know where Gadiwee was. Matusox would come with Gadiwee later. I asked about Matusox's behavior. He always watched at Gadiwee.
I asked about the law of the children. This law didn't exist. Matusox would make possibly a love with Gadiwee! I told Souwa and Nawiva about the pedophiles, but he never made a love with the kids. Why did the priest have Gadiwee?
Wait, I read about the child sacrifice. Oh no, Matusox would kill Gadiwee. I asked about the child sacrifice. Nawiva forgot that the child sacrifice still remained. She ordered the warriors to look for Matusox and Gadiwee. The warriors never has heard of the name Matusox.

Is it a mistake to challenge fate, after all? *** The world-building is set upon on the universal scale, with dungeon and old-style fantasy. It has a progression that follows with the consistency of a dungeon setting, although it's not what you call a dungeon, but a function of a crystal. There's a lot to take in this novel, but that's all within my intention. I have always enjoyed challenging conventional ideas. The cover is not mine, it's just temporary.

Essentia Animus
Second Book of the Soul - Celesi Veil Trilogy When the living essence of three girls are put at risk, giving room for a second essence within themselves, even their hyper developed fantasy world might not be enough to contain their new found ambitions. Another story of another world, these three girls must adapt to their new essence, all while each is left to question if they are truly still even alive. While this story is a sequel of the previous story in the trillogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, taking place in a distant corner of a Celese returning readers will be otherwise incapable of recognizing. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for the previous book, in case that matters to anyone. This story takes place over two centuries after the events of Vitae Memorandum, when Celese had developed into an advanced world, improved to a point that it is much like modern-day Earth while still using the gift instead of technology. The Aethyx languages are still present in this book, and even English still exists in the world after the events of the previous book, but are much less of a focus after the same closing events of the previous book. What is instead important is how the ending events of the previous book had resulted in the start of the Instrumentation Era, and exactly how the gift translates in a modern-day sense. While this book is still effectively a fantasy world of its own kind of magic, it isn’t the classical medieval scene that would be typical for such a story. The laws of science still do not exist in Celese, but that didn’t stop it from developing into something that looks similar enough. Earth itself still remains present on the other side of the veil, and its previous exposure continues to shape and advance Celese into the world it has become. This story contains scenes exibiting mania and similar dark themes, as it goes to great length to explore concepts of life and death. While the degree of such themes should not be considered to be as serious compared to matters such as actual horror, the psychological depth is still siginifcant enough to be potentially concerning for people sensitive to matters of this nature, such as any individuals with concerns questioning matters of suicide, mental harm, or a variety of emotional injuries. While none of these subjects actually occur in the story, readers who are currently troubled by such matters may find themselves considering old wounds if they are especially capable of empathy while reading, which could lead to furthered emotional or mental stress. Readers with a high capacity for empathy may find themselves troubled by concerns regarding any potential lack of mental/emotional control as well as considerations regarding the meaning of death. Readers who appreciate subtle dark themes in a story may instead find this to be an interesting twist of the same idea.
