《VOID REQUIEM》Chapter 11: Danger looming around

A purple space squid the size was close to the ship, ranging from over 15 meters. It Grabbed the back side of the ship with its long tentacles.
“A Kraken! Should have known considering the galaxy we are in right now.” Ryu said, gritting his teeth.
“Why is it after us?” Sora asked.
“It's not after us. It's after the power source Hearthstone that runs spaceships.”
“We’re stuck” Miku said. The ship was wrapped in its tentacles, unable to advance forward. All the other creatures in the area were scared away because of the kraken. Even the one’s Ken was having fun with. Seeing them being driven away pissed off Ken.
“We gotta get it off,” Akane said
“Like what? This ship doesn’t even have any firepower, and none of us can breathe in space.” Miku added.
“Hey guys. I think I know what are we gonna have for dinner.” Ken said, while looking at the monster.
“Eh?”
Ken tapped the object in his chest hard. A flashing red light scattered throughout the room.
“Time to eat some grilled octopus!!” he exclaimed with a monstrous smile. His hands were decomposing and changing again.
“He is using that power again?” Ryu thought to himself.
“wait let me go! I can take it on.” Ryu said.
“I’m taking it on. My orders,” Ken shouted.
Ryu realized there was no point in arguing with him at this point. He pulled a small circular object from his pockets. The object had a metallic look on it..
“Whats this”
“A portable breathing bubble. It will help you keep your breath in space”
“Pfft. I will just hold my damn breathe. So open the fucking hatch now”
“wait! Also take the gravity shoes with you so you don’t jump off from the ship and into space. The electromagnetic field should keep you inside a certain area of the ship while still being able to move .”

“Fine damn it!”
Ken jumped out of the hatch. “Alright, time for some chopping”
The octopus looked at Ken, swiping its tentacle at him. Ken jumped to the side, avoiding the attack.
“You know, dodging means it's hitting the ship, Ken!” Sora exclaimed.
“Shut up!” Ken shouted back.
The octopus stretched its hand backwards, ready to launch it at Ken again.
“Bring it!” Ken’s arms transformed as they increased in size as his hand had a mixture of red and black armour like structure. As the tentacle fell down towards him, Ken grabbed the tentacle.
“Got ya!!” Ken grinned. But he could feel his legs leaving the pavement. The tentacle instead was lifting him up. The kraken pulled Ken close to its face. Its yellow eyes staring down at Ken.
“Not good. If that thing shoots him out of orbit, we can never catch him.” Miku said while trying to shake the kraken off.
“So, what do you expect we do? He even took the last air bubble,” Sora said.
'The kraken is a gigantic creature, but its brain is smaller than that of a human. If we hit it there with a precise shot, it will die.”
Miku replied.
“But how are we gonna do that?” Sora asked.
Miku left out a sigh.
“You guys are really dumb, aren’t you? We have a shooter, you know”
she looked towards Akane.
“You don’t need to leave the ship completely to shoot. Hold your breath and jump out. Well, it still depends if she can shoot precisely or not.”
“oh my. If I hadn’t heard that correctly, it seems you are questioning my abilities.” Akane said sarcastically with her death glare.
Seeing both of their aura Sora murmured to himself.
“Yep, women are really terrifying.”

Meanwhile, back at the top, Ken was being smacked left and right.
“Like imma let go bastard!” Ken pulled out his sword and slashed the tentacle, which sent him flying out of the ship. Just before he got too far, he shot out his own tentacle rope and latched onto the ship, dragging himself close. The kraken wasn’t wasting any time. Using two out of its 47 tentacles, it dug a hole through the lower region. Everything was being sucked out from below.
“This is bad. The ship is losing power. We have to make an emergency landing,” Miku said. Akane reloaded both of her 3 inch long revolvers.
“I’m ready.” She said as she pulled out her mask. The mask was a black alloy type, which had a holographic scanner showing targets. Ken got back on top of the ship.
“Ken, drag that thing's head closer. We got one shot at killing this.”
Ryu said on the speaker.
“Alright then!” Ken dashed towards it. It swung all of its tentacles at him. Using the tentacles as stairs, Ken jumped from one another, closing in on the kraken. He latched onto its face. Its golden eyes trying to keep a look on him.
“You wanna play rough? Then come on! Hit me!” Ken said while directly hanging close to its eyes.
The kraken was a dull creature. It seeing Ken was latched on its face swung its tentacle towards it.
“Nice going dumbass!”
Ken said, jumping to the side as the kraken hit itself. As Ken fell down, he shot out two tentacles each from one hand and grabbed the kraken by its neck, pulling it towards the ship.
The moment the kraken face hit the ship’s surface, Akane jumped out of the ship for a moment, holding her breath. Seeing the vital core of the kraken, she shot out from her gun. With precise accuracy, the bullets hit the Kraken right in its brain. Immediately upon hit the kraken body shrank as if air was flowing out of its skin.
“Ken get in!”
Ryu shouted.
Ken jumped towards the hole as Akane grabbed his tentacle, bringing him in. Inside the ship, red alarms were going out.
“Whats wrong?”
Ken asked.
“That bastard actually did a good number on us. The ships’s going to crash. We will have to wait before we get to Demonia. I’m landing this to closest place we can find oxygen. Brace yourselves!”
The ship was heading for a minor planet. But the planet was covered in pitch black smoke.
As the ship was entering, it caught fire because of the friction of air. Everyone on the ship was almost out of gravity as they were being swung from one side to another.
“Ugh… my.. head is… spinning”
Ken uttered, as his eyes were spinning in circles.
Miku, using her last ounce of energy, pulled the ship to a less impactful position while titling it upwards. The ship kept on hitting a pitch black river as it finally hit land. Luckily, because of the impact being less, the ship did not explode.
“Well, that wasn’t bad,” Miku said. But looking back at the rest of them lying on the floor almost unconscious, some even in a sickened position, she realized maybe not that good either.
