《The Ultimate Human》Chapter 04 : Can you fix me?

Davis Graylock didn't even give Aldric the chance to finish condensing. He jumped in the air and then descended onto the giant Blue Dragon.
Devastating punches rained on the dragon, blood, and gore all over the place. All Aldric could do was hide under his wings.
Despite everything that happened to Aldric, he continued condensing his dragon body until he was about five meters long.
Davis was finding it really hard to kill the Aldric in the dragon form.
It was at that moment that Davis stopped punching and looked at the sky. Unknowingly, dark clouds had appeared and it was because it was still night that he hadn't noticed.
It started by heavily raining large droplets of water, then it changed into snow.
Davis frowned because he seemed to be the target of the snow because when it fell on him, it wouldn't melt but attach itself on his body.
Davis knew they there was no outrunning the snowflakes as they were falling on the entire Island.
He stayed still and waited to see what would happen next.
The Blue Dragon then finally opened it's Blue eyes and then pointed its right claw towards Davis who stood a mere five meters away.
The claw seemed to be grasping at empty air but that movement attracted the snowflakes in the surroundings.
When the claw turned into a fist, all the snowflakes present in the fifty meters around them converged on Davis.
In less than a second, Davis found himself prisoner in an ice crystal.
"You may be stronger than me physically, but I've long reached the level of a Law Breaker. I grasp three laws...the comprehension is still rudimentary, but it's enough to deal with you." Aldric Draalsar said using soul sense directly into Davis' mind.
Davis just listened calmly and then tried to use his powerful body to break out of the ice prison.
Everything Davis tried ended being fruitless.

"So this is the power of laws. So far he revealed two laws. Water and ice...I wonder what the third will be like..." Davis thought.
He then thought of an idea: " If can gain strength by condensing my body, surely I can gain even more strength by becoming bigger...yes...a kind of augmentation...yes...it should be possible but how do I achieve that?"
While Davis closed his eyes to think, Aldric's wounds were closing themselves up at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Just when Aldric's had regained his peak form, the Davis in the ice crystal suddenly shook and his muscles grew. In an instant he turned into a four meters long giant, shattering the ice prison-like broken glass.
Aldric was alarmed and said: " You fool... you're drawing power from your precious life force energy to augment your body...stop it at once...otherwise, even with your Phoenix bloodline, you're just looking for a fast death, you've yet to accumulate enough energy for the next rebirth..."
Davis just laughed and said: " Life energy you say? ... I've got plenty to spare until I kill you."
In less than a second, Davis was already in front of the Blue Dragon delivering another one of his deadly punches.
"As if I'd let you touch me again." Said Aldric as he was suddenly clad in blue light and with a loud sound akin to thunder, he reappeared a hundred meters away in the sky.
It seemed like teleportation, but it wasn't and Davis had felt it. The moment Aldric moved his huge dragon body, it seemed as though there had been a trace of lightning for a millisecond. Too fast for the eye to see, only leaving a shadow behind.
Before Davis could truly understand what had happened, he saw the dragon clad in a blue light open its mouth and before he knew what was happening, he was charred black and was howling in pain.

Davis now understood that he had been hit by lightning. It had been too fast that all he could do was watch the five-meter thick tendril burn him to a crisp.
A few more tendrils of lightning hit him, each one bringing more pain than the last.
Davis was now semi-conscious in a twenty-meter wide crater. He had forgotten that he had the FIRE OF REBIRTH that could easily take away his pain. He had been blinded by the thought of killing the Blue Dragon that he couldn't think of anything else.
Aldric understood Davis the most, but he was really helpless against that situation. All he could do right now was save his pitiful life and establish his superiority for the future. They were both trapped on the island anyway and they had to respect each other while looking for a way out. If all they did was fight every day, which was a possible thing, there would be no clear winner and they would still be trapped on the island.
" Sigh...use that green fire of yours to heal yourself. Did you forget it?" The Blue Dragon's voice reverberated in the sky.
The four meters long burned body then lit up. A green fire covered it and the body that had been burned beyond recognition was rejuvenated and recovered its original appearance.
Davis stood up looking at the Blue Dragon with hatred on his eyes. He understood that he had no chance to win with Aldric being in control of the law of lightning. He could still use the FIRE OF REBIRTH to heal himself but sustaining such painful lightning hits was not something he wanted to relive no matter how much hatred he had.
"Feel like talking now?" The Blue Dragon said with a triumphant smile.
Davis forced himself to remain calm and then asked: "Can you fix me?"
Aldric took a long time to answer because he knew that Davis wouldn't like the answer that he would give him. After shaking his head, he said: " I have a way, but it is only possible when we leave this island and the process might take a long time."
Davis wasn't mad anymore when he heard there was a way. He knew that he was now an immortal being, and waiting a little bit was nothing to him. In fact, it was the thought of living like a bird his entire immortal life that had made him become mad.
Aldric then continued: " Basically, you would have to get blood from powerful humans. Preferably Immortals at the Runic Convergence realm or higher. You would then refine their blood by using the Undying Spell Matrix and also let it burn in your FIRE OF REBIRTH for as long as you can."
Davis then said: "What does my fire has to do with anything?"
Aldric answered: " Your green fire has the property of giving a new life to its target whether by healing or acting as a fountain of youth. If you use it to refine that human blood you would just increase its vitality and power exponentially which is the same as refining it with the Undying Spell Matrix, but with a higher yield. If you use your fire you'd save yourself tens of thousands of years of refinement. We are truly lucky that you've unlocked the FIRE OF REBIRTH as your first fire."
"What do we do now?" Davis asked.
Aldric then took his human form and then fished out a black robe out of nowhere and wore it.
"Firstly, let's see if you can still go through the barrier around the island. We'll soon know if you can leave the same way you came in."

Necromancer and Co.
In a time before the existence of the present, the gods decided to create a plane of existence where all their creations could exist in the same place. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)
