《A new horizon》3. Memory loss

After much contemplation he decided to give away a sound from his mouth to wake the woman up. The woman who was lying her head over the blanket woke up with a start listening to the small sound of Trevor.
She sat straight and looked at Trevor. When she saw that Trevor was awake she almost burst into tears. For the last 2 days she hadn't slept caring for her son who was lying unconscious. Now that she saw Trevor opening his eyes she was happy beyond imagination.
"My son, are you alright? Are you hurt.. What happened to you?..." the woman said. The woman went on a spree of asking questions. Trevor listening to the barrage of words from this woman felt like he would get a headache again. He didn't recognize her nor remembered her name. He was thinking of how he should keep his cover but then a bright idea hit him.
"uhh.. who are you?" Trevor said as he made the possible poker face he could make. Since he had no memories of her, it was better to go with the truth.
Playing the part of a boy who had lost his memories!!
Since he didn't know what had happened he could just just deny any knowledge prior. His title of Young Lord being called before he became unconscious made him understand that he had authority in this place. He needed to use that to his own advantage.
The woman's eyes went wide when Trevor said that. She couldn't believe what her son just said after opening his mouth.
"Son, it's me. You mother... Don't you recognize me... Erena, come here.. Your brother wants to see you." the woman shouted. And after a few seconds the door of the room opened.
Trevor saw a girl of almost his age walk in. The woman had the same complexion as her mother and even the same beauty. Trevor never had any siblings in his previous life and was happy to see that he had a sibling here.

Yes, he had already started accepting the fact that he had gone through either time travel or transmigration into a different world. Since he couldn't reverse the time, he needed to accept the fact fast and act on it. Thus, Trevor maintained his poker face while looking at both his sister and mother and said the same words he said before.
"I am sorry.. Who are you? Where is this? Wait.. Who am I?"
Now his mother really got the scare of her life. She thought it was just a momentary lapse of memory but her son still couldn't recognize her and nor her daughter. Her son even forgot his own name!!
Her eyes were full of tears again. She couldn't believe that her beloved son had lost his memory. The girl, Erena seeing her mother cry hugged her and said.
"Gawen, stop with your joke. It's not even funny."
"Gawen! Is that my name.. I am sorry I don't really know you. Can you tell me our relations and who you are?" Trevor said as he too showed that he was distressed after realising that he had loss of memory. He needed to play his part as perfectly as possible. Any wrong move might prove fatal for him.
His mother, listening to what her son said, cried out more loudly. And listening to the cry of the woman, a man entered. The man looked tall, wore a very big dark cloak over his body with a thick black shirt and pants. Even the leather belt he wore was back.
The man was bald with white hair on the sides with strands of black hair among the whole crop of white. He looked around 50 but he was well built and had a stature that made him look someone who commanded authority.

"What's up with this all black father?" Gawen thought. (I will be addressing Trevor as Gawen from this point staying true to the lore as I can be)
"What is all the ruckus about?" said the man in a loud tone. Gawen's mother didn't reply but continued crying. Even Erena had a few tears in her eyes.
"Gawen? What is going on?" asked the man as nobody replied him. He didn't care to ask if his son was alright after seeing that his son had got up and was sitting.
"Uhhh... This lady is crying because I couldn't recognize her. I am sorry.. It seems like I have lost my memories. Can you help me?" Gawen said in a more sad and depressed tone. The man stiffened when he said that.
He too, like the boy's mother, couldn't believe his ears when he heard his son's words. He froze for a second before storming out. After a minute or so he brought an old man with him. The old man looked like he just woke up from his sleep and he was dragged here by his father.
The man looked old with white hair on his head but he wasn't bald like his father. The main point of the old man was his dress. The old man wore a rug-like dress all over his body and had a chain hanging around his neck. The chain looked weird as it had 4 different collared and shaped hoops interconnected with the chain.
Gawen felt weird seeing this old man, as he felt he had seen this guy before. It was weird for him as he didn't have the same feeling for his apparent parents but this old man made him feel weird.
"Maester Wolkan, can you tell me what is wrong with my son? Why isn't he able to remember me or my wife?" the man asked. The old man looked surprised by this question.
He didn't expect that the Young Lord lost his memories after the dangerous situation he faced 2 nights ago. He touched the head of Gawen, which he didn't deliberately avoid. It was better to leave the people with their own devices to avoid suspicion.
And after few seconds of murmuring some words he shook his head
"I am sorry Lord Robett, I don't know what happened to the boy. Maybe only a Grand Maester will be able to tell what has happened to the boy and why he had lost his memories." the old man said.
