《Game of World's Heroes》Question 22 - Is this a troll?

Series sound of steps scatters from two girls who are promenading inside the forest. Their glossy black hair is gleaming even below these shades of tree’s leaves. The little one is hopping energetically while letting out cheerful humming, different from the tall one who walks leisurely but still can follow with ease.
“Hmhmhm~” melodious hums are spreading on their calm journey.
After a while, they finally get out from the forest and seen big yellow stone walls encircle the whole city, it is a majestic scenery for a person whom still first time go to this place. However, for them who often go here, those walls are an ordinary existence that not enough to make their jaw drop again, they not cast another glance and immediately go to the gate as usual.
“Stop! Everyone who wants to go inside or outside the city must report his or her purpose,” before they step near the gate, an unusual sentence directed towards both of them.
“Us?” the tall girl says with a confused tone while looking at the seemingly young guard.
“Yes, who’s here other than both of you.”
She becomes speechless for a moment. Usually, the guard let them in without them need to write their name. However, looking at the guard appearance, it is evident this young guy is a new guard. She doesn’t dislike that someone does their job seriously, that doesn’t mean older guards did their job sloppily. It just all of the older guards knew who she is and they never stop her in her way into the city.
She chuckles for a moment after organizing her thought. She's strolling towards the desk guard who tasked to write the report, “Okay then, I want to report that I will go inside.”
Hearing a girl's voice, the sitting guard who still writes something look upwards, “Oh, it is you, Yan. There’s no need you to write down your name, just go inside as usual.”

“It’s okay uncle, I want to show Rin proper route to go inside the city,” she's putting her amicable smile.
“Well, whatever then. Name and your visiting purpose?” he asks the little girl beside Yan after changing his voice to professional tone.
“Um, Rin Silvereen, my purpose is to visit the big brother.”
“Yan Silvereen, same.” She says, following Rin.
After writing the name and purpose, he immediately gives both of them permission go inside the city. Looking at this scene, the young guard astounded, from their conversation he understands that those girls usually don’t need to report their name. He knows that isn’t because of the old guard is lazy, conversely, he rather strict with the rules.
“Did you usually let them in just like that?” the young guard asks, can’t contain his curiosity.
The old guard is observing him for a moment, “Oh, I understand why she writes down her name today,” he’s mumbling. “You’re new, it is understandable for you to don’t know, but when you see them again you can just let them go inside.”
He stunned after hearing this old man ramble, “What, why? Even city mayor still need to at least report his name. Is her family that influential?”
“Well, kinda. You will understand faster when you look at this,” the old guard give the earlier book to him.
“Yan Silvereen," he read the words in the book, "Is it mean she has connections with that Silvereen company, but it still doesn’t —”
“That is true, but what more important is they are also sisters of Vysilius Silvereen.”
“Who?” he says while tilting his head.
After seeing the young man still confused, he shook his head and sigh, “Whatever, you will know sooner or later. Just remember this — the city mayor isn’t the most influential person in this island. You're lucky that she doesn't make it hard for you.”

“Is people did that when they want to go inside the city?” Rin asks Yan who walk next to her.
Yan nods after hearing her question, she realizes that the old man makes it easier for them and just ask those questions without even ask the fee to get in. It mostly because Vys and mother influences, she knew that they are protecting them somehow, but that overprotectiveness will become a problem itself — Rin weirds common sense. It better to Rin’s growth to learn some common sense from the early age.
“Well, that can be done slowly,” she mumbles.
Soon, they finally see a white clinic building owned by Vys, in front of it stand 17 years old man wearing white coat watering plants around the building. He looks towards their direction and waves his hands.
“Yan, Rin what are you doing here?” the man says after they get closer to him.
“Rin just wants to see Vys today somewhat, and I have something to asks.”
“Oh, it’s better for you to wait outside, he still does something.”
“Is there a patient inside?” Yan asks.
“No, it is not a pati — oh he’s already come out.” Dana cut off his sentence after sees someone come out from inside clinics.
Yan cast her eyes towards where Dana looks, “Wa, wa, he, why he…” she stutter.

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)
