Chocolate cookies’ aroma permeates in this white room. I, who still eating the cookies after dip them into the milk conversing with my assistant — Dana.
“So, you mean you didn’t feel the slightest pain at your breakthrough?” Dana asks curiously after hearing my story.
“Why would I? as long I know where to shift my Qi to the right direction and not try to resist them — there won’t be any pain.” I say, and after a moment I continue, “Nevertheless, it seems the painless breakthrough is impossible except you to have maximum possible meridian — there are many occasions where I must redirect my Qi to meridians created by my bloodline.”
Dana’s soughing after heard my explanation, “Your bloodline is really enviable you know.”
“I know.”
"You know what, you're not humble at all. Oh, how long you will attempt another breakthrough again?"
"I already have the necessary data. So, probably tomorrow, after resting my bloodline one night."
“*(&(*&%*(),” he let out alien language with a vein popping in his forehead.
I immediately calm him down when looking at his angry expression, he takes a deep breath and tries to switch our conversation to other topics.
“I remember that Caldrew comes here last night and ask the mission seal. Did something happened?”
“My mother wants to go to the main continent to solve her permit problem,” I answer casually.
“Isn’t problems is a normal thing in business and usually it would end without conflicts, why would you need to instruct Caldrew to get mission seal?” He asks, confused with my last night instruction.
“This time, she has a problem with a member of Aracorv clan,” I say and then drink the milk, after that I continues, “And I have bad feelings in last few nights.”

“Well, it can’t be helped if that comes from your guts,” he says without sarcasm because my gut sometimes is right.
“Yeah.”
After that, we get silent for a few minutes, “Wait a minute,” like remembering something Dana asks, “the problem isn’t because of your another bloodline, right?”
“I’m sure that isn’t the case, if they find out my Hylaxis bloodline, they won’t just call my mom to the main continent — They will send their Wyvern rider army here and this place will become a bloodbath.”
“That’s — true I guess,” Dana let out a relieved breath, “Well, I just hope this problem won’t become that bad.”
“Agree.”

“Aaah, these are the tastiest dish I ever ate. You’re a great cook, uncle.”
“Heh, what I say kiddo, I’m the best at cooking,” the uncle says with a grin on his face while cooking for other customers.
“Can’t argue with that, even my sister eat more than usual.”
His little sister cheek visibly red, and then she gently pinches his stomach.
“Haha, that’s good then kiddo, come back again later,” the uncle laugh hard coarsely when looking at the girl caprice.
“For sure uncle,” he says, then he facing his sister “Want to continue to search the inn?”
“Okay, brother.”
They immediately go outside where shout of sellers are everywhere, clangor from a blacksmith and the dogs barking is added to the cacophony on the streets. It seems this marketplace already at the busy time.
“We need to get out from this market and find somewhere more peaceful,” he says to his sisters, then she nods her head.
After half an hour, they finally can find an inn inside the city with tranquil and splendor of the ancient scenery. Even though Venicia can't see, she can feel the calm atmosphere of this inn.

“Huff, that market earlier is scorching hot,” he says after laying himself in the inn’s bed.
“I agree,” she says, after pausing for a moment she asks, ”Brother, are you already tired?”
“Why? Oh right, you still sweaty from that heat,” he says after looking at his sister.
He immediately gets up from the bed and then lifts her from her wheelchair — bring her to the bathroom with princess carry.
He put Venicia in a bathtub filled with warm water carefully as though he put down a fragile porcelain vase. He washes each part of her body with soap from the inn, even this situation is tantalizing for some perverts, there no lust in his mind, just a big brother’s affection to his little sister.
Different from her brother serious face, there a tinge red on Venicia’s expression. She silently let her brother wash her body.
“If only I — maybe I — brother,” she mumbles silently and then biting her lips. Slowly, drops of tear flow in her cheeks.
“Did you say something?” he vaguely hear Venicia mumble, after look towards her face, he sees a streak of tear from her eyelids, “Wha, is there something wrong?”
“Nothing, just who again we search in this island, brother?” she shifting the topic hurriedly after wiping her tear.
He, of course, don’t believe her ‘nothing’, but he won’t force Venicia to say something she doesn’t want.
“Oh, about that,” he pauses for a moment, not long after he continues, “People said he is a doctor with magical eyes.”

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.

Not to mention all the different franchises and characters I am going to mention, I don't own a single one of these nor do I claim to by writing this, I just want people to have something to enjoy since I am drained on my other work.I hope you enjoy, and to say it right off the bat since this is something that upsets me, I don't mind if you're critical of the work, but jesus, don't be rude. I love criticism but I hate people that go and put a 1 star with no reason, but if you put 1 star and give me a good reason then I'll use it to grow as an author! Thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy the story!

A Long Refrain
September, in the Continuate: For most students living in the Third Division, the month's arrival usually means the start of a new school year. But not so for one particular freshman, whose first month at college seems to never end—literally. Set during the 20th year of the nation's Rectification Era, A Long Refrain follows Melody Quick’s attempts to escape from the month-long time loop she's found herself trapped in. Her journey, which starts in the capital city of Somnhaven, will take her across the vast expanse of land once known as Circadia, whose forgotten histories, ancient secrets and eccentric inhabitants could hold the key to discovering the true nature of the loop and the role she herself plays within it. However, the more she learns, the more cruel truths she must face: Will she really be able to handle the awful reality behind the loop, and all that it entails? And will those very same answers she's found be enough to not only break her free from the loop, but to also protect the people she holds dear? (A-and from what, exactly ...?)

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
