Birds fly toward their nests bringing food to its younglings. Orange colors are comprising the sky, covered by some glowing reddish clouds. Everything can be seen behind a window frame, signs of the evening.
I leave a white room, abundant of pharmaceutical scents and tell my assistant to lock all the doors after I go home. After all, he lives here alone.
I step outside, sensing gentle wind breezes on my body while smelling fresh fragrances in my ways home. This world is truly serene if there no such thing like cultivators and internal energy.
I live in a little village while working in the city because, reason. So, I must walk passing a small forest everytime go to work, it damp and moist but because of it already evening. Fortunately, there are stone paths built by the resident where I live.
A day every week, I go home late at this time, because reading reports from my people while talking with Dana. Except for some rare cases that need me to go assist them personally, I sent Dana to inform my family that I'm okay but can't go home. It's to not make them worried. Usually, the problem solved in a few days and at most two weeks.
I don't keep my jobs as a secret from them. Even though I never tell the detail to Yan and Rin because of their young age, I still tell them there are other jobs outside of the medical field, at first they quite surprised but finally accepted it.
My mother, on the other hand, didn't look surprised when I show her many precocious child signs or when I tell her about my other jobs. She believes I showing adult qualities in early age has everything to do from my father's bloodline, Hylaxis. It's a rare case for someone to inherited two bloodlines but not impossible.

I didn't correct her and tell it because of reincarnation. It's different from my jobs, in every era, the knowledge to prolong death is very sought after by upper echelon of every world.
Their knowledge of reincarnation will put them in danger and even if they don't divulge it, there exists a bloodline that can read other people minds. Even though, those mind readers won't directly attack me because they will know about the mercenary organization. They can still sell that information to others who will attack us.
Although I said, I don't keep it a secret but lately, I never tell her about the details and just said everything is fine. It mostly because my mother is a righteous type, and what I do aren't nearly as clean as she hopes.
Well, I still helping her pharmacology company though.
Finally, I see my house before dusk. A quite big dwelling made of green timbers and tall fences in its circumference with many gaps to look outside. I walk below a stone gate with a word inscription, Silvereen, my mother's family name. Even if she doesn't look like it, my mother actually a quite rich person in this village.
Most of her wealth comes from her pharmaceutical business. At first, she wants to create medicines for poor people, but somehow it becomes popular even among rich people a few years ago. Right now, after many failed business attempt before I born, my mother can finally say that her fortune doesn't come from her family.
Her success 'definitely' not because of my help.
After I step into my house, I see Yan chasing Rin. Rin looking in my direction and then running behind me, hiding from her sister. Yan still can see you, you know that right?
After looking Rin running to me, Yan who still covered by her sweats rushing too and says with dropping eyes, "Rin, why you don't want me to wash your body?"

"No, Big sis is sweaty, and I'm already big. I don't want to take baths together again, it's embarrassing."
"Didn't yesterday we still bathe together."
"That because big sis forced me."
They're bantering again, it looks like Rin already in her rebellious phase. Please don't hang out with wrong people later Rin.
Rin is the shy type when meeting with a stranger even in this house it doesn't look like it. Maybe it because she feels comfortable with us, so she can let out her honest feeling.
Finally, I can see Yan in orz position after a firm rejection by Rin.
Looking at their conduct, I laugh heartily and stroke Rin head, "Rin, your sister just wanna help. I know you already a big girl, but even Yan sometimes take a bath together with our mother."
"If big brother says it like that." Rin looking at me with puppy eyes then continue, "C'mon big sis, we go together."
Am I doing it right? I never got kids in my previous life so I don't know. However, looking at Yan's cheerful face, it seems I did a good thing.
They walk together towards the bathroom, and I can hear Yan's humming. Well, I must do something first.
"Yan, Rin," Both of them turn around after hearing my voice.
"I'm home."
"Welcome home," they say with a sparkling smile.
Vys: A place where my loved ones are waiting for me.
