I wonder if it is a shame for a mage to die from a simple human bullet.

But it doesn’t matter since he was not a mage.

I always thought that the moment of death would drag on, like in slow motion. But it goes too fast, so you can’t even figure out what happened. You just stop breathing, and your eyesight fogs up.

I do not know what other people feel when one of your friends kills another. Maybe the pain tears them apart. Wrath. Shame. Or injustice.

But first there was just the emptiness inside of me.
