Deep into the night, the silence is my friend

things get quite calm and I am able to think

trying to be independent, ignore every trend

socializing is so stressful, I’d rather have a drink.

I’m not anti-social, but people get on my nerves

as their habits can drive me up the bloody wall

I’m really not as grumpy as everyone observes

ignore the naysayers who try to make us feel small.

Some people will always try to be negative

no matter what you choose to do with your life

so don’t listen to them and try to stay positive

or their words will penetrate your soul like a knife.

We can never change the way other people feel

so do what you want and never let go of the wheel.
