Each day difficult decisions are made

as things concerning love are often tough.

When someone feels used and even played

ending relations still manages to feel rough.

No one around here likes to say good-bye

but all things do eventually come to an end.

No matter how hard you try to be the nice guy

when it's over it can be hard to be their friend.

Some will be mad, and others are sure to cry

when that trigger is pulled to make the break.

Questions will be asked, many will wonder why

but changes must to be made for sanity's sake.

It was heartbreaking to see that dream conclude

but to drag things out longer would just be rude.
