Bam! Smack! Crash!
"Say it again you little piece of shit!! Go ahead. Speak up."
Revan didn't even have time to fully recover before the tip of a size thirteen boot drove itself into his exposed side, knocking what little oxygen he had remaining in his lungs. Booze trickled down his bloodied up face, chunks of shattered glass tumbling from his alcohol soaked hair, falling onto the hard wooden floor beneath. On either side of the youth lay two halves of what was once a relatively thin, but fancy, dinner table.
"Come on," The man standing above the boy demanded once again, this time in a much lower voice. "Tell me again what you said. I wanna hear you say it."
Pulling his foot back, the towering male slammed his shoe into the kids head, causing the victims cranium to smash into the nearby wall. It was a miracle Revan was even able to retain consciousness, his vision and hearing tuning in and out as the assailant proceeded to bash every inch of the boys collapsed figure. Hit after hit landed, each one bringing with it a new world of pain, a new definition of the word agony. The blows rained down upon him, melding together with each consecutive kick, until the child was no longer able to even tell where the next one landed. At one point it felt as if he was just floating, unaware of anything else besides his own suffering, unable to draw a single breath. Unable to feel, the boy was all set to welcome any relief from the overwhelming torture, even accepting death should it extend a hand towards him.
Eventually, after what felt like a century, the pain began to subside and the boy could finally draw in breath, the beating having finally ceased.
Squatting down, the older male grabbed the Revan's head, digging his thick fingers into the youths scalp. Lifting the his face from the floor, the attacker turned the boys disfigured face towards him.
"I want to hear you say it. Stop being fucking pathetic. Fucking weak excuse of a human." The man furrowed his eyes in irritation, his free hand smacking and backhanding the boys cheeks. "Get your ass up you useless lump of meat. I didn't even hit you that hard. Get up!!! You're a man aren't you!!??"

With the pain still radiating through his body, the young adolescent could barely feel the slaps. His face was bruised and bloodied, not a single inch of it having been left untouched. Still, despite having his eyes near swollen shut from the intense beating, Revan managed to slightly pry open one of his hues, the black color staring into the man's smokey grey ones. A gaze of pure malice stared back as the man smirked, the smacking halting the moment he noticed the child's glance.
"Now say it again," The man said once more.
"K....keep."
"Come on, you said it before." The man smacked the boy hard in the mouth, an annoyed look on his face. "Spit it out. You're big shit right? You can talk back right? Don't go quiet now just because you got thrown around a bit. Should've listened when told not to speak unless spoken to."
The kid opened his mouth shortly after the assailant finished speaking, causing the male to lean forward in order to hear him better. After a few moments of silence, the kid finally spoke up.
"Keep your....hands off.....of them."
Click. CHOMP!!!
The soft click of a camera was quickly hidden behind screams of agony given off by the man as he threw the child away, clutching his ear. A horrid wail escaped the adults lips as he hunched over, blood seeping from his hand and between his fingers, dripping onto the hardwood floor. Without thinking twice, the individual drove his shoe once more into Revans side, though it was clearly nowhere near as powerful as before. The only thing the kick managed to do was cause the youth to spit out what was in his mouth.
Skipping across the ground, leaving bloody spots in it's wake, was the man's ear.

Revan hadn't been able to fully see it before, but the surrounding area was actually quite captivating.
Barring whether or not such scenery should even exist, the black haired youth couldn't help but take everything in. Even the coldest of hearts would be unable to deny the magnificence that the setting presented, how peaceful and fantasy like it all seemed to be.

Beyond the blue lake, the one that had nearly become Revan's watery grave, rolls of lush green hills exploded outwards in all directions with various patches of trees and stone hedges smattered throughout. The scenery stretched for each way for 5 or so miles in a near perfect circle before coming to an end, blocked off by a perfect cylinder of sturdy rock walls. The stone ran upwards, stopping some distance as it reached the ceiling, a roof Revan had first thought to be the sky. Made up of millions of large glowing crystals, it was a wonder that the youth had ever managed to confuse the two. Resting on the ground, in the middle of it all, thick roots stretching out like feelers, was an enormous tree the size of a skyscraper.
Truly breathtaking sights all around.
A few minutes had passed since the black haired youth had been cut down and unwrapped from his upside down state and, within that time, quite a lot had happened. Though having done almost nothing, he had learned far more than he could have hoped to garner by mere questions.
One of the first things Revan learned, aside from the fictional scenery around him, was that the energetic female from before was overly curious and quite chattery.
Tiona Hiryute, a member of the Loki Familia, or at least that's what she had introduced herself as.
In the short span they had interacted, the dark skinned girl had seemed to take a weird liking to the black haired youth, trailing close beside him as they walked. While the smaller blonde female remained quiet, Tiona easily filled the silence with a whole slew of questions that Revan didn't feel like answering, especially since he was cosplaying as an amnesiac. For the most part, he just let her talk and ignored the vast majority of her inquiries, leaving them up in the air for the girl to draw from her own imagination. Things like his past, his clothes, the scars and off colored patches of skin that poked from beneath his ragged white shirt, and why he had decided to peek on them while they were in the lake.
Even if Revan hadn't been pretending to be brain dead, he most likely wouldn't have bothered to respond to any of them. If anything, he only ended up making a mental note for later down the line.
The chattery female lacked tact and remained unable to read the mood.
His initial impression upon meeting her had turned out to be spot on, which he found to be interesting considering how baseless the assumption was, especially since he had only gone off body language and demeanor. Unlike her blonde companion who never uttered a single word, Tiona continued to initiate some sort of conversation with Revan.
It got to the point where even Riveria, who was walking some distance ahead of them, had to ask her to quiet down a bit.
"Alright," Tiona responded cheerfully, unaffected by the jade elf's words. "Sorry 'bout that."
Revan let out a sigh, black hues glancing sideways at the hyperactive female next to him. The last thing he wanted to do was interact with any of the strangers around him, especially since he could practically feel the danger oozing off of them. However, if he wanted to assemble any sort of concrete information regarding where he was and who they were, he would have to remain on their good side.
Or at least remain on the side of the most talkative person in the area.
"I don't remember much of anything," Revan said, looking straight ahead, eyes focused on the enormous tree they were walking towards. "I can tell you what I know, but I hate repeating myself. Can it wait until we get situated?"
Tiona seemed surprised for a second, as if she hadn't really expected Revan to actually speak to her, but it dissipated quickly, replaced by a large smile. Leaning forward with her hands clasped behind her back, she flashed a set of pearly whites. "Okay. I'll hold you to it then, Mr Peeping Tom."
