An immense amount of energy is required to damage the head of a bone-crusher dog. Other parts of its body are vulnerable and should be attacked.

Ironically enough, the sound of gunshots excites the bone-crusher dog, evidenced by their wagging, skeletal tail. They will try to eat the bullets if fired upon.
