Wild dogs have little to eat, so these dogs have taken to feasting on scrap metal for their meals. The jaws of the bone-crusher dog can pulverize much more than bone, considering its dietary habits.

The metal that it eats is absorbed directly into the body. The bone-crusher dog's head does not have flesh, not even for its empty eye sockets. The hardened structure that encases the head is indeed its skull, as autopsies performed by mana lasers have proven that the brain lies directly beneath.

The teeth of the bone-crusher dog are an immediate extension of its skull. The longer that a bone-crusher dog lives, the harder that its skull gets. And therefore, its primary weapon—its teeth—become more lethal.

An immense amount of energy is required to damage the head of a bone-crusher dog. Other parts of its body are vulnerable and should be attacked.

Ironically enough, the sound of gunshots excites the bone-crusher dog, evidenced by their wagging, skeletal tail. They will try to eat the bullets if fired upon.
