The slime trap is a particularly large glob of slime that can encase victims and dissolve them, thereby adding to their own pool of mana (and size). The biggest slime traps have killed the greatest number of people and monsters with robust ley systems.

Though often found across the ground, slime traps can block passageways or hang from the ceiling. This variant of slime is notably more aggressive than the basic slime. They will leap across the floor or drop down from overhead in order to obtain their next meal.
