United Royal Institute Is located North-west of the Dragon City of the Flame Domain, the Flame Continent's Capital.

The United Royal Institute is located in the most important region of the Flame Continent the 'Flame Domain'.

At its center is the location of the Flame Imperial Palace. The place where the Flame Emperor dwelled. It could be said to be a place where all important decisions about the Flame continent were made.

The United Royal Institute covers one hundred fifty kilometres. It is known to be among the largest schools in the world as well as the best in both academic and user expert training. People who graduate from this school are always the 'best of the best'. But in order to enter the school, one needs to have high aptitude. Either mentally, physically or intellectually.

The school has different sections for different age grades. The first is the 'Nascent Section of Nursery Beginning'.

It is a place where kids who have not awakened their Liaison core or are at the Beginner domain go for learning academic lessons like medicine, science and technology, Impactation of historical knowledge and training in the elementary way of User energy.

Normally, when a baby is born. Their Liaison core is awakened the moment they step into this world. And the few others who don't, awaken it before age seven. Though, there are still those who don't awaken it by that time. Majority of the ones who don't awaken it by then don't awaken it at all in their life. Except for the extremely rare ones who awaken their Liaison core before age thirteen. They occur once in a thousand years, which is also considered a miracle. Long story short, any person who does not awaken their core by age seven is considered a cripple. Even with the legend of those who awakened their Liaison core by age thirteen.

The qualification for entering the Nascent section is high aptitude in User energy. The candidates are taken into the freezing room, to stay for thirty minutes and at the end of the duration, those who remain unfrozen get to enter the section.

Back then, nigo was an anomaly; he sat in the cold room without freezing despite not having awakened his Liaison core. He was praised and even envied by his peers. His core had not been awoken, yet he could survive for thirty minutes. He was indeed a dazzling halo. Even without a core he was that good. How about when he awakens it? He would be a 'once in a million years' genius! Everyone thought and even voiced out. But, after four years, he still had not awakened his Liaison core and the people who had praised him were now looking at him with disdain and contempt. Some thought that he used a device to cheat his way through and was not punished because he was the Guardian's son. While there were those who thought he had experienced an accident that affected his Liaison core. All the same, he was still looked down upon by his peers and even teachers.

The maximum time a person could stay in the Nascent section was four years. After that, that person picks a path of life. If a person doesn't awaken their core or pass the assessment exam, they can't continue in the school in the future.

The second section is the 'Intermediate Section of Experts'. It has an age grade of not less than Fifteen years of age to enter and the requirement was being in the 'Sea User Domain'. And even with that, entering is still incredibly difficult because of the entrance assessment.

After that Section. Is the third and final section; 'The Direct Royal Disciple Palace'. These are the main royal institute disciples. They are regarded as the highest existence even among teachers. They are the smallest in population, of the three sections. Yet, their section covers two thirds of the United Royal Institute. Each disciple has their own royal quarters for training and meditation. They are also allowed to learn the highest 'User Arts'. They can work anywhere. And anyone from any nation, as long as they reach the requirement and age grade for participation in the entrance exam, can join the section. The age requirement is age twenty five or younger while the User strength requirement is minimum of S - tier of 'The King User Domain'. Even with that, entering is almost impossible because millions of experts from around the world, come there every year to participate. And only a thousand are able to enter.

The school was Founded by the Guardian and The leaders of the Six Continents to show unity amongst themselves. The Flame continent was put in charge of monitoring and reporting to the other continents on the state of affairs in the school. Materials are also provided by the leaders for training and learning.

Although, the members of the two upper sections are required to stay in their sections, except for missions or field trips. The kids in the Nascent section are not required to do so. They are allowed to return to school every day from their houses. Tough there are provisions for those who choose to stay in school, there is hardly anyone who chooses to stay for more than two days. The kids only stay back sometimes to experience how life at the section is, while those who are very focused on raising their User strength stay to use materials to improve training.

Many people expected nigo to stay back at school and use the materials and guidance of the teachers to awaken his Liaison core. But he has no intention of being separated from his home. Though, when it comes to martial arts techniques and training. Nigo is among the best of the best. But his strength is far at the bottom of the barrel.

At this moment, two kids could be seen walking side by side, on their way to the nascent section. The school has a very large gate that could accommodate hundreds of people at once. The kids were both nigo and zara. They were heading to class when suddenly a kid around their age ran towards them from behind. And he stretched his arm to touch nigo on his shoulder.

"ha!"The kid shouted into nigo's ear, trying to scare him.

Nigo turned around alongside zara, looking at the kid with a calm expression.

"Eh....? I couldn't scare you?" The kid said dejectedly.

"You do that everyday, so how would he be startled?" Zara said

"How are you doing zara and you too ni.......!!!!" The kid raised his brows as he noticed the flash of blue light on nigo's lips "Ha......what ha......happened?" The kid said in a flustered manner.

"He wouldn't stop screaming, so I sealed his mouth" zara answered casually.

"Pfffffffft"

"Hahahaha......" The kid laughed his heart out as he looked at nigo's face.

Nigo gave him a pleading look to help him out: tell her to remove the seal from my mouth.

The kid understood and said to zara in a pleading tone "Please can you remove the seal from his lips. We're already at school and doing this will cause him to loose more face than he has already lost"

"The two of you are always in support of each other. Coming against me. Can't you support me once?" Zara retorted while staring him in the eye.

The kid turned his face to the side trying to avoid her gaze. He said "why will I support you when we are both boys? We are meant to support each other and help each other out in time of need. By the way, after considering what he has gone through, I feel the need to protect him more. In fact, you could say we are brothers, if you want to punish someone then transfer your aggression to me."

"You never seem to stop surprising me when it comes to nigo" she snapped her fingers and the ice on nigo's lips disappeared. The kid touched his lips before saying "Thanks ejiro, you're a life saver"

"No need to mention, what are brothers for hahaha....." He laughed heartily before he continued "but seeing the look on your face was hilarious" Ejiro laughed

Nigo looked at him wondering what was so funny.

Although Ejiro was not as strong as zara. He was incredibly smart. Even though he was at the peak of the Beginner domain, his talent was considered average. Ejiro is one of the only two friends nigo has in this life. And their bond runs deep to their bones. He is also a close friend with zara.

Ejiro has the look of a scholar in science and technology. His looks aren't too exaggerated but he is considered above average. He has messy black hair and a pair of glasses to assist his vision. He always has a smile on his face. And despite his age, everyone in class admires him. He is known to be the best among his pairs in academics. Today, Ejiro has on, an orange coloured shirt and black pantpants. The sun radiating in his glittering black eyes.

Nigo glanced at zara before saying "you've been looking at the sun since today, what's up with that?"

"I wish you could see the sun the way I can, then you would know how beautiful it is today" zara replied

" 'How beautiful it is' ...... hmmmm....Ejiro can you see anything special in the sun?" Nigo asked

Ejiro responded without looking at the sun "Though my eye sight can't be compared to zaras'. I can confirm that the sun is indeed more fascinating today, if you use user energy to enhance your sight. I think it's because of the formation of star meteorites and today is the day it falls to the earth."

"I see....." Nigo paused before saying "I wish I could see it too" he truly wondered what it looked like.

Ejiro put a finger on his forehead and withdrew it. A wisp of user energy appeared on his finger and then he sent it flying towards nigo's forehead. The energy entered nigo's head like ice melting in fire and nigo's eyes brightened the moment that happened. He said " So that's what it looks like? Wow, by the way what was that technique?"

Zara who had been watching everything knitted her brows "when did you learn the thought transfer technique? I thought only those at the Chief user domain can use the technique"

"That is indeed true for the technique you speak of. But this technique is different and far better. Anyone can use it and it is quicker. It is a technique I invented. Although I haven't perfected it yet" Ejiro said without a hint of pride in his tone.

"Wow, you truly are a genius! I wonder what the look on the teacher's faces would be, when they experience this technique" Nigo said, feeling proud of his friend.

"Don't worry nigo, I will look for ways to awaken your core through science. And if that doesn't work, I would create a way to transfer a person's liaison core to another. In fact, that is what I'll do after perfecting this memory technique" He said with a tone filled with determination.

"It hasn't gotten to that yet. How would I allow you sacrifice your liaison core for me?" Nigo tried to reject it because he knew his friend.

"I don't need it!" Ejiro said in rebuttal "And besides, you need it more than I do. My dream is for science and technology but your heart's desire is to awaken your core. Though you don't say it, I can sense the longing for it from you everytime"

"My desire is not to see my friends getting bullied no matter what! Even though I don't have my core. I would still be an important part of society because of my intellect! But if you don't awaken your core, you would be kicked out of school by next term. And we won't be able to remain friends! I'd rather become a cripple than loose any of you because ..........you are like family to me!" Determination beaming in his eyes. Ejiro stopped speaking.

Nigo was speechless. He didn't have anything to say. He had not known what he had done to deserve such a friend or rather a brother.

Zara knowing nigo had nothing to say, stepped in "we would always be friends no matter what. So don't worry about nigo. He's still the guardian's son you know" She stopped and shifted her her gaze to nigo before saying "And to you, I want you to know that no matter what happens, I will never harm you"

Nigo:"......"

"Eh......" Ejiro said in bewilderment, scratching his head.

"I don't know why you're saying that all of a sudden. But you've been acting strangely today. Is there anything you aren't telling us?" Nigo said, he was just as confused as Ejiro, he didn't know why zara said what she said all of a sudden; 'is she trying to tell me something' he thought to himself.

"It's nothing. I just want you to always remember that" She walked close to him pulling his arm and heading straight to class with Ejiro tailing behind them.
