Caution: The content of [ In The Flesh #3]

and [In the Flesh #4] are the same part. but they got split into 2 chapters. And the story between these 2 chapters is continuing. If you skip some of the texts, it may lead you to the huge confusion. ( Not count the grammar).

Syd managed to get on top of Seraphina.

He stomps her against the ground and throws her against the wall.

" AUGH--- "

Sera pulled herself up.

" You...*gasp*... I think I've figured something out...*gasp* ..."

"...." Syd glares at Sera.

"...You already know about my ability, aren't you? ..."

" !?!?! " Syd's eyes widened.

" Not only you've known...*gasp* but you already know even the condition to use it... *gasp*... The fact that you've come up with this method... It is telling me that you know how my ability works pretty well...." She said.

" Father Peter is not an ability user nor his crew."

Sera comes to a conclusion.

" The last person you choose to jump on was me! because you know if you try to get me first, I will use my ability to fight back! And it would make Father peter got away! You chose to talk to me before throwing in violence because you know that fighting me will consume your time!"

Sera brings something up and shows it to Syd.

It's a big sharp broken glass that pierces through his arm's flesh.

A load of Blood runs down his arm, Although it was covered by his sleeve, Sera can see it dropping.

(... FUCK ME!.... The swapping time is out!... My flesh has turned back to its original state...)

Syd thought.

" You are a smart man. I admit it.

You can fight...you aren't just a crook who only got a power... But also well trained... If it was pure hand to hand combat... I can't win against you..."

Said Sera, She continues.

" I suggest that you shouldn't pull it off. It will cause even more damage and loss of blood."

" I haven't figured out your power yet. But looks like you can make your skins turn hard like a brick... Or Steel... Or something even harder. However, when I tried again... The result is this... After Sera spoke, another Big sharp piece of glass pops out from Syd's leg.

A huge amount of Blood on the ground.

"..HAAAAAAA!!!!!....AGHHHH..."

He kneels down to the ground, while that Sera approaches him again. But this time, more carefully.

"It seems that the result is clear. Due to the amount of blood on the floor, I'm sure you can't pull up any tricks again or In the worse case, forever if the glass cut the nerves."

Sera grabs the clown mask, She was about to pull it off.

Suddenly... The man speaks.

" Do you know what Liquor is in that bottle? Seraphina Gilmour? "

" ?! ...." Sera startled,

" You know my name?.... Hoo... It's not like I didn't expect that... So this confirms that we have met each other."

" I'm asking you. Seraphina Gilmour. What Liquor is in the bottle? ". Asked the man.

" In case you haven't noticed the logo. The Liquor in that bottle is JIM BEAM. It's the bourbon made in Kentucky in America. The nature of bourbon is that their average is 80 proof, or in other words, they are consist of 40% alcohol or even more."

" And you know that Alcohol is something the Flammable. Right?"

Syd reveals something in his hand.

It's The Lighter.

It's the Seraphina's Lighter.

The same Lighter she used on the marry Statue.

" M-My Lighter?! When did you?!... When did you take it?! "

Sera went shocked.

She quickly released her hand out of Syd's mask.

But it's too late.

Syd throws in the ignited lighter at her.

When the flame touched her hand skin.

The Flames instantly ignite on Seraphina's hand and quickly follow the skins up to her arms and so on.

( ( sound of a woman screaming ) )

Sera screams so loud that Jody can hear.

Flames went through Sera's body.

" YOU FUCKER!!! SON OF A BITCH!!!! How dare yoooouuuuu!!!!?!?!? "

( ....heheheh... Luckily I can lure her to touch the mask. That time when the bottle broke. A Liquor splits out on the floor... I swapped the properties between bourbon and this mask...and when she grabbed it, I swapped between the mask and her hand. So that her flesh received a property of Alcohol... A property of the flammable object.....)

" I'll just leave her like this for a second... But in case if it goes wrong, I'll be in trouble."

Syd touched the metal part of a lighter, using his power to swap the characteristic of metal and his flesh.

So right now, Syd body received the durability of metal.

He grabs Sera's body he holds her tight and rushed himself towards the wall Sera had summoned.

With just a single hit, The wall breaks down.

" WHAT THE--?!?! "

Jody was shocked as she saw her friend Syd Barrett with the burning Seraphina.

" WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ?! "

Jody shouted at Syd.

But there's no time for him to explain.

Syd punches the fish tank so hard that it breaks down.

The water floods out of the tank to Seraphina's body.

Making the flame goes away.

" Even though Bourbon is flammable, but the damage caused by the burning isn't that severe." Said Syd.

" Have you realized now? If I don't take you out. You will be burned alive."

He said. wiping off the fish. Glaring at Seraphina.

" Why..?...Why you help me?? Don't you want to kill me?? "

Sera asked, gasping.

" Tied her." Syd orders Jody,

" I'll watch the Saint," he added.

Jody walked to Syd, she whispers.

" What happened between you and her?... Why you end up burning her?... And these wounds!...."

Jody mentioned The piece of glasses on Syd's body which penetrate his arms and legs causing him the bleed out an amount of blood.

Even he looks calm and chill as fuck, but the blood still dripping down.

" I'll explain later. But now we need to hurry."

Syd showed his watch to Jody.

5 minutes before the throwdown between Syd Barrett and Seraphina Gilmour.

" We have to do it now. Or else Father peter will go away." Said Syd.

" It's growing things. Her Ability is that she can grow anything she wants from the material she has... Or even make a copy out of it."

"She needs the thing she calls

'Seed' first. It was like growing a plant. If you don't have a seed, you can't grow a plant. Sera needs the material of a thing she wants to grow, and once she activates her ability. She can control its growth speed. For example... If she got a piece of plastic in her hand, doesn't matter how small the piece is, Once she uses her power, that little piece can grow into anything made out of plastic. it can be a plastic chair... Plastic cup... Or even grow into a big sharp piece of plastic... Or even further she can think of. If she forgot her homework, she can borrow someone's homework and make another copy of it by her Ability."

Jody explained.

" The heart is the 'Seeds'. If she doesn't have any material. Then she can't use her power."

"So it's basically an ability to turn objects into anything or even duplicate the same thing. But its condition is to only made out of the same material she uses the power on."

" Yes. Imagine if she scratches out your flesh or even her own. She can make organs out of it. She can grow a hands...legs... Veins... and so much more... Because the 'Seed' is the same, A cell, yes? "
