System windows full with many notifications, mostly notification of successfully killing all of my opponents, but some of them is showing real reward of my killing, like increasing my time power capacity and gaining new skills. After a while, the notifications stop, and no sign there will be a new one.
Now I'm stopping panting heavily. Well, I’m still sweating bullet and tired, but at least it’s now tolerable. If I measure correctly, I can even fight once again, not that mean I could win though and it's not like I desire to meet with any of those soldiers again.
I’m closing all notifications for killed those soldiers, and start looking at the more notable announcements. I noticing that results after killing all of them is less than my expectation.
“Wait, is it all the skills I got? I’m killing like one hundred of them, won’t I get about one hundred new skill?”
[What kind of broken system you think I am]
“Um, The best kind?”
[…]
“Fine, System theme already overused, oversaturated and overrated anyway”
[… 凸( •̀_•́ )凸]
I am starting my banter with the system. Of course, I still trying to travel to the past but it failed, again and again, fortunately there many excesses of time power after killing those men.
Other than that, I'm opening description of each skill and start experimenting with them while still talking with the system. After a little experimenting, I realized that most of those skills are useless in battle.
“At least can you explain to me why the skills and status I got no as many as I expected?”
[How much did you expect again?]
“Hmm, let me ponder for a moment”
I am trying to remember my first fight in my home and killing him. After I'm successfully killing him, I got my status improved and gained a skill. So, I assume that to get stronger fast, I need to kill as many soldiers as I can.
“Other than that 100 skills. When I kill that first soldier, I got about 3 stamina, that time I just kill one person. This time I kill about one hundred and they even stronger the first man, so I expected at least about more than 300 increase in stamina”, I'm speaking non-stop while calculating in mind.

[I think you misunderstood the reason for your increasing status in the first place]
“What? What do you mean?”
[The status increases not based on how much status your opponents have or how many they are. But based on the battle situation and how much pressure in status you used in that battle]
“…” I silently reading at system explanation.
[In that battle, you pushing stamina near your limit. So, after the fight is over, your stamina got significant increase]
Well, that makes sense. It’s kinda weird that when I gave a second thought, there are many loopholes if my status increased based on enemy status. Why would I become smarter after killing an intelligent person, or become wiser after killing a monk?
If that really the case, I will just go travel through history and slaughter all brilliant mind and become smarter oneself, after that, I can quickly think of an efficient way to become the strongest. I'm sure that killing Newton is easier than killing Julius Caesar.
And if the improved status is based on how many enemies I kill, I just need to go to the future and steal nuke launcher or whatever good weapon there, and go to the past and do killing spree.
Anyway, just blame it for the isekai and wuxia light novel with system theme that I usually read.
“Now I understand how my status got improved, but how about the skill I gained”
I’m asking another thing again while still failed when trying to go to the past.
[You got them after kill your enemy if you have the same element with your enemy you have a small probability to get a random skill from your enemy which using that element]
“That’s all?”
[Yes]
“Wait, that status explanation before is quite understandable, but why out of the blue when you explain the process to get a skill, it sounds like an explanation from RPG game”
Now, I’m actually confused there is no sense of reality in that explanation at all. Why I got skill after killing an enemy? Why there just one? Can’t I absorb them all? Why must same element? Can’t I get another element later after I get those skill, there no sense of reality, it’s more like game logic than rational explanation.
[Dunno, that what I conclude from Akashic records]
As usual, the system just shrugs under carpet my objection. But, on the second thought, who cares. If even system don't know what I can do? What important is, I need to get used to this situation. From the first time I controlling time, I already broke the law of physics more than I can count. Oh, It’s because there is so much of it, not because I can’t count very high.
From now on I can’t play in this world with old rules, I need to adapt to new rules. It seems the keyword is that Akashic record, note for myself, find out about that later.

“Useless system”
[┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌, ungrateful host]
After that unintelligible explanation from the system, we start joshing around again.
Sometimes I still looking downward, those liquids won't become cold in near time. After I thought again about before, it’s highly plausible that I’m already got exposed by nuclear radiation. Well, still that problem for another time, because there yet an immediate issue that I must resolve, flee.
One by one fighter appear again down there, if I can’t flee to the past, all of my previous efforts becomes futile. Because the longer the time, the stronger soldier that appears. Look like they still guessing what happens and it seems there none of them can perceive that I’m here, but it just a matter of time before the one who comes have sharper perception.
A few minutes later, I don’t know how, but those people are starting to realize that I’m here, I can see they look at my direction. Without any time wasted, their surrounding aura are change, it resembles protections like before. It seems they become more careful after looking at their surrounding.
“How about same tactics as before”
I'm closing my eyes, once again I send earth’s inner and outer core to kill them. I override system warning, and I can see below me orange liquid, and big solid white rock scatters around those people. I don’t know if this enough to kill them, but at least it can decrease many of their power. Anyway, there are many excess time power, it will become a waste if these aren’t used.
Well, that what I plan, but fate mostly usually is a jackass. I can see all of those orange liquids become many small bubbles in unison. Those little bubbles flying to my directions, I don’t know what happens if I got touched by those, but I’m sure it won't be anything good, and it forced me to create my shield immediately. After those bubbles come in contact with my shield, I can see it exploding like a grenade, but even with my shield and time aura, I can still feel the shockwave blast from those bubble explosion.
*Boom* *Boom*
“This is ridiculous crap, what type of power this is?”
I’m startled with the change of situation and without realizing, I let out curse from my mouth. It’s like when I read a sci-fi story and the author throw fantasy element out of the blue. If this is a novel, no one will read this story. Well, but the reality is stranger than fiction, it has no genre and surprises are everywhere. Want or not, the choice I have is just to suck it up.
“Well, at least they can’t fly,
Just after I say that. I'm seeing those people aura changing and flying to me.
[You and your big mouth]
“Who in the sane mind would think people can fly?”
[Um, I don’t know, maybe people who can control the time at will]
“Well, there is no time to listen to your blabber, we got some company”
Looking ahead I see seven people in front of me, flying, five of them wearing shiny silver armor like that commander I see before. But, the level between them is very different, like heaven and earth. I can say for sure, if the one who ambushes me before is them, I will die even if they don’t use any tactics.
However, what attracts my attention is the two people on the front. There are a man and woman who feel out of place in between those soldiers. They don’t have any weapon in their body, hell they don’t even use any armor. They using casual clothing, the man also has something like a blue headphone with turtle logo hang onto his neck.
After staring me for a few seconds, the man starting to talk.
“Well, well, what we got here. Nathan, You will die”
“Everyone will die”
“…”
“…”
“…”
“What?”
[Seriously?]
“Your personality is very different with what I know, but it seems killing without hesitation is a quirk you have from the start. Look like Senwyn decision to erasing you from this timeline is really the correct one”
He's speaking as he looking down, looking at the death of his men. Not long after he sighing and talk again.
“Nathan, you think you strong with just this? Your strength now is meager, I will show you what destruction is”
I can’t help to shudder when he talks. When I see him speak, I know even in full health I can’t win against this person. The night becomes clearer and brighter, it gives me chill in my neck while looking at two people in front of me. They are calm, but I can sense impending doom from their way looking at me. That man swings his hand a little and protection appear covering all of them.
‘Why time travel repeatedly fail’, even when he talks I still try to flee into the past, but still failed again and again.
Something wrong, they don’t attack me and the night become brighter by the seconds, it isn’t because of those lavas. There no sign they will even strike me, they just looking at me like my death is for sure.
“If it isn’t down then …”
I’m looking upward
“In the name of smoking potato, this will kill all creature in earth”
I’m noticing the moon falling fast to earth, no, towards me.

As such, they have a strong basis in the myths and folklore of various cultures and religions. Join me as I try my best to integrate these stories into my own and develop the world of the Storytellers and Myra herself. This is my first attempt at any sort of longer-form fiction so helpful advice is greatly appreciated!

Forced Development (What does it truly mean to live a fulfilling life?)
To get things started I would like to admit that this story does not bring much new to the table when it comes to the over-saturated Litrpg genre in terms of things like mechanics and power systems. Then what exactly am I trying to bring to the table with this work? A nice slow-paced novel about people maturing and growing older think of it as the re: zero or jobless reincarnation of Litrpgs. A story that tries to take into consideration how a worldwide system would affect the economics and culture of a world. A story that is much more character-focused than the typical heavy progression-focused novels this genre is known for. The RPG system, like any good power system, is there to actually explore the themes of the story and not just as a plot device for characters to get stronger. This is a story where we will see the growth of the Mc from being a baby to when he dies of old age. With plenty of heart-racing actions and intriguing plot developments along the way. Exploring themes like; What does it mean to improve at something and what does it mean to mature as a person? How does magic, the constant threat of monsters and people so much stronger than the average joe that they can destroy countries affect one's culture both on the micro and the macro scale? How people are affected by the culture in general? Generational trauma Nature vs Nurture Talent vs hard work What is morality, society, and people's opinions on both? What does it mean to be human and what does it mean to be alive in the context of a world with multiple sapient species vastly different from one another in basic biology? All these questions are going to be explored from multiple angles using the system as a catalyst for those discussions. So if any of does questions sound interesting to you what are you waiting for, I'm sure you are going to love this story. PS - Chapter come out every Friday at about the same time.
