《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 54: Goodbye.

"They're gone, what are we going to do know, Hazen? They were both... so cheerful, everything feels... so dull now."
He simply sighed and said that we came here to protect the Kurai Kyu, nothing else, and this is actually better, because now he didn't need to worry about Juni. "But if she had any inconvinience while going back to the Flugre Dimension, there will be consequences... you got that, boy?" With that, I too, remembered my reasoning coming here. I then asked Hazen to take care of the outside with Mikasa, because I had to do something, something that would be of great assistance to us. "Sure, whatever, but don't plan anything dumb... like usual... wait no, that's me. Anyways, I'm off." and he left me, in my room. I then hooked up the laptop, and started looking for the coding Nium had posted online. I then made a call. "Remember Nium, remember about the signal, that is the moment, if its even a second late, the entire plan will backfire..." but he knows that well, as we already had shared memory and because of that, he knows of the consequences, more than anyone.
After notifying him about my plan, I then went towards the medical bay, to check on Jennifer, who hopefully is cured now of her sadistic nature. When I went there, I noticed Skiean was there, sitting next to her, doing something, which made me learn something new. Her SE is healing. It was obvious. ME couldn't heal cells that well, so it could only be a SE. "Nice Soul Emifer, Skiean." I said, walking in. She seemed flustered, as the moment she looked at me, she stopped using her SE, which caused a sharp pain, as Jennifer said , "GAHH!" and she woke up. "Don't scare me like that.. Johnny." "I can tell your SE is healing, mind if you would explain how it works?" and she seemed a bit nervous. "Well, no one at the moment knows about my SE, because I don't like it how my Soul Emifer is nothing more than a healing ability, something that is useless when it comes to combat. I never wanted anyone to know, but to be honest, my healing capability is probably the best in this dimension, if not, this universe." and I was quite shocked myself.
"If you had such a strong healing ability to begin with, shouldn't that be something to be proud of? If you nurture it well enough, you can be a very important asset to the army. Suppose the people fall, and since Demons can't ressurect, use your healing abilities to heal them. If it is still very concentrated, then I can help you train it for groups. It will become much stronger than what you think, and trust me on that. So, how is she doing?" and she said that she was fine, and going to be probably ready to walk in about a day.
I was relieved, relieved by the fact that she was going to be fine. I then decided to check on what was happening, and it seemed like we were being pushed back, especially since the actual people had arrived. When I went outside, the first thing I saw was Trinity, standing infront of me. "Well, I'll take that.... from you!" she said, taking Kurai Kyu from me, which was in my jacket. I was surprised, but hiding a smirk. "What? How did you find it! Damnit!" and she laughed, and then she ran away, only to realize I wasn't chasing her.

After a few seconds, she realized what just happened. Kurai Kyu then exploded, but she vanished. "Tch! A clone, I should've known she would've used Iansis, along with her SE! If only, if only I can see her in actuality, than I would be able to learn more about these clones of her, and know which ones are fake, and which is the real one, but I had a hypothesis, for a very long time, but I'm not sure if it's correct, I'll be able to tell, in only a little bit, it depends.
After the clone vanished, another Trinity popped up, above me, which surprised me, because I doubted that she would actually do something like that, come here, in person. She then threw a kunai at me with deadly accuracy, and I dodged it, but it still managed to scrape my cheek. "Damnit, I wouldn't think you would come out, Trinity." and she smiled, "Oh, of course not, I'm not that dumb!" and she vanished. "Kch!" I said, whispering to myself. I then looked out, to see our forces being pushed back. I then asked Nium to start getting it ready, it is almost time. "Got it, boss. I just need... around 30 minutes, that should be plenty of time." and it was true, that was pretty much enough time. I then went back to the medical bay, and Skiean was there.
She wasn't surprised at first, rather,a bit happy, but when I asked where Kurai Kyu was, she was shocked. She stopped healing Jennifer, which caused a sharp jolt of pain for her, again. "What? Why do you want to know that... wait, you are a clone, aren't you?" and I smiled, and sent her a bit of my memory, just enough for her to understand. "Oh, I get it. It is a smart decision, granted we can't push them back anymore, Hazen and Mikasa are already injured enough, and the bots are about to stop functioning." and then she came close to me, and whispered the location of Kurai Kyu.
After that, I went to the control room, and found a panel with 1000 buttons , each labelled seperately. I then pressed , '0002', '0022' , '0132' , '0287' , '0642' and then after pressing those, an extra button came, and I pressed, '1001' and with that, a briefcase popped up, and I put in its code, '0872' . All these numbers had a meaning, but I couldn't tell what it was right now, but when I opened it, there was a sphere, which was extremely smooth , in it, with a soft padding on it. The sphere itself was pitch black, with a hint of purple. It had an ominous presence, as if there were dead souls in it.
Ahhh, I feel my power starting to return. Thank you, boy.
"Huh? Man! You scared me, you fool!" but he didn't reply, so I guess he went back into hiding. Anyhows, I then put the Kurai Kyu into my Rift, and then I began our operation. I then started to gather people. I first called out Mikasa, and forced her back into my rift. She was bleeding everywhere, but she still wanted to fight. "No! You're going to lose consciousness if you get one more wound!" and she simply scoffed, and then hid back, murmuring something. "Oh, the rift is going to get a little tight, just telling you, so I'll increase its size," I then used all my overflowing Mei and my regular buffer, to increase it a few cubic meters. "Tch! Really? There is already this black orb in here..." and I simply shut my rift, no longer listening to her.

I then started gathering all the living demons in this city, and after about 10 minutes, they were all gathered. I then, without warning, sent them all into my rift. My head was pounding, I haven't done this ever, and the pain is intense. "I'll explain to you guys later, just hang in there." I then called out Hazen, and told him we are issuing a retreat. "WHAT?! But, it's going so fine..." and he collapsed, from loss of blood. I then grabbed him and hoisted him onto my shoulder , and then I forced Mikasa out, and went infront of Nium. He looked at me, and I then stabbed her, in the stomach, with a knife. "I'm.. sorry, you will understand... later," I said, as she fell onto me, and I then took her back into my Rift. My head was throbbing, I couldn't bear this pain. "Okay, I started it up, it'll begin in a minute," he said, and we both ran out, to see that Skiean had already setup the bus. "We will be moving to the Human Dimension, for now, okay?" and with that we all went into the bus. "We're going to need a much bigger one than this," and she smiled. "Oh, well, I made a total of 5 just in case." I laughed. "That's what I thought you would do! That's great!!" and with that, I then went into each bus, and unloaded the people, in portions of 4, equally in 4 of the buses. "This is for your safety," and I then walked slugishly to the 5th bus.
"Come on! We have 30 more seconds!" and I urged my body to move forward, but it couldn't. My head was hurting so much, and I couldn't feel anything. Before I knew it, they already left, while I was sitting there, collapsed, alone, as Mikasa and Hazen were already forced out of me. "Shit!" was all Nium said, and in 10 seconds, everyone looked towards there home, and saw something disastrous happen. Trinity too, looked at the buses , and knew what was going to happen.
It all happened in an instant, and I can't remember much of what happened, but what I do remember, is that after everyone left, the entire city went up in flames, exploding. I told him that the only way to protect Kurai Kyu was to explode the city. They had to many troops , and we couldn't take care of them, no matter how much we did, and especially since they managed to destroy a gear, all my plans went up into flames, just by that one measly trick she did.
But I felt that we accomplished something, because I noticed that Hazen,Trinity, and Michael were still in the city, and there plan too, had failed. After that, I couldn't remember anything. I then woke up in a bed, and sitting next to me was Hui, along with Jennifer. "Ehh... what happened?" I said, getting up. I felt a sharp pain, as I stood up, and I instantly fell back to lay down. "Calm down, calm down, nothing happened, just lie down for a while," Jennifer said, and then Skiean came in, and was relieved that I was awake. "Thank goodness! We thought you were dead. You had a flat for atleast a day, but we still hoped you were alive. You were heavily wounded though. If not for Kurai Kyu, you would've died, regardless of having Yagrik or not." she said, running up to me, and then giving me a big hug.
Hazen then popped out, and asked how I was feeling. I smiled. "I'm feeling, good, I suppose. What about Raizel and the rest? How long have I been knocked out?" and Hui smiled. "After there utter defeat in the Demon world, they stopped the war, and said a general retreat. Though everyone was very angry at them, no one was in the position to beat them. So, currently, they have Kagayaku in there custody, and you, Kurai . They will be targetting you, wanting to take it from you. As for the time, it's been 2 months." and I could tell. Hui was much taller than before.
"Oh... I guess I must have had you all worried, what about you Jennifer? Do you remember what happened?" and she scoffed. "Well, no. All I remember is dying. After that, I'm having nightmares about me being evil, killing many people. I also feel, very weak..." and then she fell down, asleep. "She's been sitting in that spot for two weeks. I think it's best you leave her there," Hui said. "A..are you crying, Hui?" and she wiped the tears that were about to come. "No, no! Why would I cry?" she said, and stomped out. I couldn't help but smile.
"When am I going to be healed fully, Skiean?" and she said, "Well, in about 2 days you should be able to start moving, but with the help of Yagrik, it'll probably take a day or less," and with that, she left. I then sat there, alone, just trying to remember what happened. I checked my rift to see if Mikasa was there, but she wasn't. It was empty. But I saw a note in there, which made me know about pretty much everything that had happened.
Sorry, I left, I had to do something. This will be goodbye, for now.
With that, I could tell she went to do something, something about the 800th Kiji. She is probably stregthening herself. "Hey, Skiean, how is the Demon Capital?" and there was no reply. Jennifer did murmur something though, and I was able to hear, "It's ready..." and she continued snoring.
I decided to go back to sleep, to wait until I can heal fully. I need to increase my Mei density, it was sitting at a constant of 20 for a while now. "Well, it's time I power up, I guess." and with that, I went to sleep, ready for the next day.

A Castle in a Teacup
One might say that to anger forces beyond the ken of fragile breakable mortals is a bad idea, others might say that meddling in dark forces with little chance of gain is also a bad idea, they would both be right by on all counts but they forget to mention also how incredibly stupid combining both of those things are. Stupid people don’t last so long on the mystic side of things, normal folks who wander over to the other side have a tendency to do one of two things, either A. figure out that the best thing to do is keep their head down and not draw attention from any entity that refers to humanity as “you mortals” , or B. something horrifying happens to them. As you may have guessed I fell into the second category, mostly because I thought there was a third option. See I though there must be an option C, an option where I got to end up not as some shitty back ally wizard cowering at the chance of discovery, praying that one of my wards or spells wouldn’t be noticed by something that goes bump in the night. No I would be the one who rose above all that. I would never have to be afraid. Well I made a good attempt at it that’s for damn sure, but unfortunately for me it turns out there is not an option C. At least not for me…
