《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 52: Plan

After the battle with the Angels, and my meeting with Johnny, I went to get the Kurai Kyu, which is located in the heart of the Demon's , the central state, also known as the Industrial Giant. After returning back to the Reaper Society, which was thankfully, not attacked yet, Trinity told me, that we should go straight for the Demons instead. "Why? Shouldn't we reinforce?" but she didn't accept it. "Think about it, Since we haven't been attacked yet, that means Johnny and the others would have went to the Demons, and by now, they must be there, and they would start pulling up defense, sure , we will have troops, but it's better to go directly towards them, so that they will panic, and Johnny will have to create a very rushed program of defense, which will be better for us. While we travel there, I'll make us a plan, so don't worry about that, don't worry about it at all. We will carry our dead companions, so that we will get support, after 2 days, because the time it'll take to arrive there is around 2 or 3 days, if we turn back now, else it'll be a few weeks, longer if we create a bigger army. " She wasn't lieing, it was true, especially since The Traffic and Bus work like this. So, I decided to gather the 'dead' soldiers, and we went towards the demons.
After a few hours, Trinity came up with an idea. "Well, since by now, Johnny must be there, this is what we'll do..." and she started explaining the plan, which I couldn't understand that well. Nonetheless, I managed to gather a bit from what she said, and I started to put it in action. I told the soldiers the idea, and what we are going to do, first off. "Since Iansis can't create a clone of you, Raizel, I'll have Iansis create clones of Jennifer, Michael and me, which would be good enough. I'll use my SE to create an illusion of you, but you'll tell me how to move it, because I don't know how you act or think, so you'll control your illusion." and I nodded, I would still need heavy instructions on how exactly to control an illusion made by Trinity's SE, but her plan was still great.

After listening to her plan, we continued our path to the demons dimension. "By now, they will know we are coming quicker then they expected, so they would now be in a rush to set up a defense system, and, in about half an hour, Johnny should come and tell them to make a totally new defense system, rather than there system, so he'll start spending his time coding, this is the best time to strike."
Once we reached the dimension, Trinity hacked into the interface, and got us in. She then created a clone, or illusion of the Bus we used, and put it infront of the Demon Dimension, while they were sitting close to the border, but just outside of the range of being detected, so they would think they have already arrived, when in reality it was all an illusion, which is something Johnny may consider, but won't accept so early, until he realizes that 'we' are clones, only then would he understand that.
I hid a bug on the clones, so that we could watch them via cameras. I couldn't help myself but laugh, because they were doing everything in such a way, it seemed wrong. Trinity then hit me on the head. "They are supposed to act like that, I did it like that on purpose, do you really think I would make such a simple mistake?" and she scoffed, and continued spitting orders at them, and they folllowed them relentlessly, without question. "Wouldn't they have hidden cameras?" I inquired, to which she simply said, "Already dealt with." and when I looked in the camera, I noticed that Iansis threw needles in the 4 corners, and one above them, which meant that they had already taken care of the cameras in the main hall of the city.
"This city is totally mechanical, so with a few coding lines, everything would change. At this point, Johnny is probably preparing for the next change of the city, so that we wouldn't be following the same thing, but I already took note of that, so don't worry." The plan was flawless, it was great, just as I thought of Trinity.
She split the team into 4 groups, when they thought it would only be 3. We decided to put Jennifer in the west path, I was towards the North, and Michael and Trinity were in the East, which at that moment, I didn't know, nor did Trinity, which made them fall into Johnny's trick, something which would've changed the situation entirely, had not Trinity reacted quick enough.

When Jennifer fell down , she knew that everything was a ploy, and that she fell for it perfectly. She then changed the plan a little. The group Jennifer had, would return back into the middle, and drill a hole into the wall, hitting a certain , 'gear' you could say, which would've made one part of the entire city the same, even if they change it hundreds of time, which is great, for us . The Jennifer clone was sent to follow that path, and get out, but when I looked to my side, I asked Trinity where Jennifer went.
"Oh, that is the real one, actually, she wanted to be in the middle of the action, so she herself went in to attack." It was something Jennifer would've done. "Okay, so, can you tell me how do I use your illusion SE? I see I need to control myself sooner or later." and she explained it, briefly, thankfully. "It works depending on your thoughts, so all you have to do is think about what you're going to do, and the illusion will do the same, but be warned, it can't use familiars, or your SE, and it's a bit sluggish, besides that, everything else is the same. If you want, you can make a totally new illusion of your SE or something like that, it's your choice, I can't control your mind, in any sense." it was a relatively easy concept.
"Okay, I have turned its power towards you, you can use it now." and I tried to move myself. Move left, illusion! and with that the illusion of me also, moved left, so I knew it worked. After that , I myself started giving myself lines of orders. Smash the door! Shit, okay, kill the bots, and then let's continue. He did just that, and after defeating the robots, we managed to pierce the door, and then, my illusion fell down a hole. Two traps? Dang! Well, no matter, try and find a way to escape, break the walls if necessary. My illusion, when falling down the hole, was trapped in a box. After that, The top lid closed, so no1 else could come in, and it was around a 200 meter drop, and I was feeling very warm, which meant I was close to the core of the Demon Dimension. Break through the walls. With that, the clone , with the scythe tried to break the walls , but it didn't even get a scratch.
Damn, I haven't seen a regenerative titanium wall in years, ever since being in prison, atleast. I know I can't pop these without my SE, guess I'm stuck for now. I then let go of the power of the SE, and told Trinity about what happened. "Oh, well then, I supposed that was going to happen, but we followed just as what Johnny wanted, so that means we did something right, in a sense." After that, I noticed Trinity made herself and Michael bash through the Eastern side. "He would think I would be able to leave, so mine was the least secure, because it wouldn't help." and with that, she then summoned everyone to go towards her side, but what she didn't know, was that Johnny wanted all this to happen, as well.
She then just continued watching from our position, until she realized. "It is time, we come in, the illusions can't support us anymore, they already broke the gear, that was all we needed them to do, other than that, they serve us no purpose." with that, we started the bus once again. and we could hear clearly over the intercom. "Skiean! This entire attack was just a ploy! Another ship is incoming!!" and I couldn't help but smile. I could taste Kurai Kyu being in my hands with the Kagayaku Kyu.

“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop.
