《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 50: Moving Problems

Ever since I went into Johnny's rift, I've always been having problems. First off, his rift is pretty small, and most of the space is occupied by Yagrik, and now , Unis. So, suppose a room is like 5 cubic meters, now, 3 of that will be of Yagrik, and 0.5 of that space is occupied by Unis, now all I have left to live in is 1.5 meters, and believe me, it is tight. I usually asked Johnny to increase the size, but he would ignore me, and since Yagrk is always increasing in size, slowly but surely, which caused even more problems. Anyone out here, if you were to take my positon, you wouldn't last a day, and if you're claustrophobic, you wouldn't last an hour.
I decided to peek out for once, because Johnny didn't guard his rift, which was not something safe, so I was easily able to go outside whenever I want, but I was to lazy to go walking. I guess staying in the Cyrogenic Dimension for centuries has its weakness. Atleast I knew how to cook, which was pretty helpful, because all I needed to do was ask Johnny to make me a kitchen, and he did.
When I poked my head out, I was above Johnny, but he didn't seem to notice. Then, I saw an arrow fly towards me, and it was tipped with fire-type Mei, which was dangerous, especially for me. I managed to dodge it, but the arrow went into Johnny's rift, and pushed him back. "Hey! Watch were you put your rift!" I said to Johnny, nagging at him. "Oh, sorry Mikasa, so I guess the arrow went into my rift? Well that's bad, anyways, unless you want to help me, please go back inside, I'm getting a headache." and I obliged.
I went back into the rift. It was a peaceful place anyways. I decided to sleep for a while. When I woke up, the rift was continuously shaking, and I felt an ominous presence enter Johnny's mind . I couldn't help but notice that I have felt this power before, but I just couldn't tell exactly what it was. After a while the presence left the mind, but I could still feel its lingering presence around Johnny's rift. "Hello? Is anyone there?" and I heard a chuckle.
Hello, Mikasa.
I couldn't tell where this voice came from, but when I heard it, I knew who it was instantly. "What are you still doing here? Didn't you already pass? Don't tell me..." and he laughed once again
You have always been the smart one Mikasa, and yes, it is me, and I am here for 'that' reason. I will be heading back now, tell Johnny to start training with using Unis, rather than Yagrik, this time.
The presence then faded, but I could still feel his words shaking me. I didn't object to his wish, though, I had to tell this to Johnny when Raizel has done what he needed to do. I then decided to stretch a bit, so I took a peak outside, and the room was pitch black. I could hear a very quiet snore, and I knew that Johnny was sleeping. I quietly tip-toed my way out of the room, then went to get me some water. I noticed Skiean was there, seemingly tired, in the kitchen, so I decided to leave having water for later. I then went into her room, and laid down on her bed, trying to sleep.

I managed to close my eyes, but then I heard the door open, and the light flooded in. "Mikasa~Senpai! What are you doing here!" and I looked towards Skiean , and smiled. "It has been a while, Skiean~Kohai, how are you doing? How is the job treating you?" and she dropped her glass of water. I managed to grab it before it fell and shattered. "Thank you, but still, what are you doing here?" she said. I then told her. "After meeting up with Johnny in the Cyrogenic Dimension, I decided to become his familiar, just like I was told to do. As he said, all of this was true. So, now I suppose we have to help you against Raizel?" and she flipped her hair.
"I guess so, but even still, I will protect Kurai Kyu, even though I am supposed to give it to him. It is my only memory left of him, and I must not let it go away, so easily that is." she had a point. I too, didn't want to listen to what he has told us, because of its situation, but in the end, we had nothing else to do , but to oblige to his wishes, due to what he had done with us." and she too nodded. She then sat on her desk, and opened up her computer.
"You still use those? I thought by now you would've been bored with using them by now, I mean you have made an entire army of robots." and she chuckled. "Well, what can I say, I have a knack for computers. Anyways, I have to help reprogram the coding like Johnny said." she then shuffled through her pile of paper, and then gave me a stack of paper, about 50 pages thick, neatly packed. "That is what I have to write, and debug. According to the details he gave us, its going to be alot of characters, atleast a few days worth of coding, non-stop." and I was thorougly impressed, mainly because she understood this.
"Hey, do you want to spare? I mean like even if you do this, it wouldn't help alot, considering Nium is already working nonstop." and she sighed , seemingly annoyed. "Oh, okay, let's spare then, I was thinking of decreasing Nium's workload, but I suppose sparring wouldn't be much of a problem. Come with me, we have a simulation room."
She then took me towards a room, and when she flicked on the lights, the room was pure white, with no creases no nothing. My head started hurting. "I'm sorry about that, it has to be like this in order to functon properly." she then motioned towards the wall, which was probably one sided glass, and said, "Intiate Scene 3-5.02 , Equipment: 5-0.X " and with that I could see a flash of light, and then everything was pitch black. When the room lit up again, we were in the middle of a jungle, and it seemed like we had basic gear, and a sword and bow, and we couldn't use our Soul Emifer, Familiar(s) , or Mei, it was a pure combat fight. This was something I was better at, which Skiean knew, so I wondered why she chose so. She was always more of a mage.

"You may be confused, Mikasa. This is nothing more than a simulation. The only thing we have that is different is our tactics and how we are to manage our attacks, the rest is all same. Gear, strength, speed, all of it, so this is tactics battle, nothing more or less." Skiean said, on a loudspeaker. I then saw in the sky, a robot that said. "I will be your commentator, so if this is getting boring, I'll tell you the others locations and make this more fun, so, let the games begin!" and we were free from our restrains.
The first thing I did was charge forwards, but with thought, as I would jump from tree to tree, spending atleast a minute scouting the area before moving forwards. After a few minutes, the AI started to speak. "It seems like Skiean is placing down traps, and both of them are pretty close, who will make the intiative?" and I knew that she was most likely spending her time placing down the traps, but now she was on full alert, but still, I had an odd feeling.
I knew how Skiean's mind worked, but still, this was a bit different then usual. Most likely she thought that I'm still using my same old tactics, and that her new idea will be able to counter it, but that was where she was wrong, as I picked up a thing or two by Johnny. I then punched a tree, and it shook the canopy, making leaves fall.
I noticed Skiean. Apparently doing that made her shift her gaze, just by a bit, but that was about it, and then she went back to setting up her traps. I then looked all around her, and I saw she was filled with traps around her. I then did the same thing I did before, this time trying to get the leaves to trip some of the traps, which was what she expected.
I managed to trip two or three of them, but that was just what she wanted, because I saw a smirk on her face, and then she shot an arrow at my face, in an instant. I barely managed to dodge it. I then jumped onto another tree, which didn't have any traps, and shot an arrow towards her, but the moment she tried to dodge it, it suaved towards her , and managed to get a direct shot on her arm. "Dang! Still using the same tactics as usual, Mikasa~Senpai. Try to be a bit more fair, this is hardly amusing." and that was when I noticed, I fell for her trap completely.
The tree I stood one sure wasn't tripped, but the positon she was in and the positon I shot my arrow triggered the trap. This made a few rocks tumble, and one of the trees snapped. I flinched after hearing the sound, and then with her weak arm, she held the bow, and with her good arm, she had the arrow, and shot it directly at me, and got a direct shot on my leg. I was immobilized now, a sitting duck for her.
She then unsheathed her sword, and ran towards me. I couldn't move, but I could still fight. I too, unsheathed my sword, but that was what she wanted, too. The time it took unsheathe my sword, gave her enough time to shoot another arrow, and this time on my other leg. I screamed in agony. I haven't felt this much pain in a while. "God damnit, I can't lose to my Kohai, that is just shameful." and she smiled.
"I have been growing whilist you were in the Cyrogenic dimension, I managed to be able to earn power on par with the Lords, and you still aren't that close, unless you have your SE, which is why I specifically chose this. "
She then ran towards me , and went for the final blow, but I showed her a quick smirk, which made her flinch. Although I couldn't move my legs, my arms were still movable. "Their you go, you made the same mistake, you let your ego get to you, and now it's ... my win!" and I stabbed her directly into her chest, and she fell. "And it seems like the winner here is ... Mikasa! Let's give her a round of applause" and I heard claps, and then we returned to the normal world. When we left the room, I saw Johnny awake. "So that was where you were." was all he said, and I was forced back into his rift. "Go get some sleep, Skiean," he said, and then he went to the control room, and moved Nium aside, and started working on the coding. His speed was remarkable, as usual." I then decided to go back to sleep, as well. I must prepare for the next fight, of course.

Dimensional Originator
Adam is having a terrible time. To start the day off he died in a car accident. And that isn't even the most painful thing that happened to him. That would be merging with a strange crystal. After that he ended up stuck in an endless black void. He does eventually get rescued. But quickly realizes his soul has been put in the body of a fallen noble and his fate is to be little more than a breeding slave for the cultivation clan that purchased him. To top it all off his new body had been bedridden for weeks and he can barely get out of bed. Not everything is terrible though. The crystal he merged with is called a dimensional originator. Using life and death energy he can create miniature universes. Given enough energy and time he could even create an entire universe. For a moment Adam thought things were looking up. Too bad the author finds things going horribly wrong far more entertaining. Warning: If this fiction was a movie I'd rate it as somewhere between PG-13 and R for violence, gore, and nudity.
