《Harmony: An Assassins Tale》Chapter 33: Another Soul Lost

They didn't pose a threat at all. Taubi, the Demon General , Yuuki the Angel General, and Yarmi, the Flugre General , all attacked at once. Even though they charged, with there familiars and using their abilities, they didn't pose a threat. Yuuki was the only hybrid amidst the group of Generals, yet still, I was easily able to defeat them all, yet Yuuki's Soul Emifer, a Healing one, allowed her to survive my attack. I didn't use my Soul Emifer, nor my trump card, rather I called out Sadisuto and put the VRR barrier again. "AHHH! No! Not that! Please stop!!" Taubi said, screaming. Yarmi also shouted. "No, please! Don't leave me, not again!" yet Yuuki was the only calm one. Yuuki simply said, "Ahh, VRR, the mind destroying barrier, sadly, it doesn't affect me, now, where is your Mutant Familiar, Sadisuto?" She may pose a threat, I thought after noticing she wasn't bluffing.
Sadisuto easily took care of Taubi and Yarmi, and they died. Once their armies heard the news, they were demoralized, and Trinity took the chance and attacked them, destroying the army's lead by Taubi and Yarmi. Every other army was anihilated, save few Flugres, and Demons. The Angel army, however, was not dettered a little, because they knew Yuuki was powerful to stand her ground, and they took some of my subordinates lives in the process of this situation, and Trinity seemed pissed off, for some reason. "Tch! Damnit, I thought Raizel would've killed her by now. This truly poses a threat, no matter, we will continue. Tactics! We are now to concentrate our forces towards the Angels! Annihilate them, while we, your commanders, take on any generals left. Jennifer seemed displeased, sadly.
"DAMNIT! Those 5,000 Demons were all Trash! They didn't land a single bruise on me! My god, this is terrible, oh it is so very terrible! I WANTED TO FEEL PAIN! NOW ALL I CAN DO IS INFLICT PAIN! ANY GENERALS WHO ARE STILL ALIVE FIGHT ME, ALL OF YOU AGAINST ME! LET ME TASTE PAIN AGAIN! I WANT TO FEEL PAIN! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" and she started going crazy again. She just continued to mow down the field, until it was pretty much empty. Trinity managed to pick off the remaining few who were still alive.
In the end, it was just the generals, and 2,000 Reapers left. "Look over there. The war's over, we have won. We have won the first battle of this war, the first of many more to come. Now, Yuuki, you are all that is left standing in my way to begin domination around the other dimensions. Now, let's play, shall we? Go , Sadisuto!" after noticing VRR didn't do anything, I was to tell Trinity about that, and ask her to give me advice on making another barrier, that deals physical , rather than mental, damage, and if possible, a spiritual one as well. Yuuki didn't seem to call out her Soul Emifer, so I was confused whether she was cocky or confident.

It was confidence. She easily brushed aside Sadisuto, although he was going at full strength, and when she called out her own Familiar, Tenshi. Tenshi was a she, and she was another pure angel. "Ahh, a Pure master is only suited best with a Pure familiar. I feel like I've heard your name before, Yuuki, now where was it. Whatever, if I kill you, there would be no need to know anyhows." and this time I charged, without my SE, either. She seemed calm enough, but when it was a split second before she was going to get chopped, I saw a small smile on her face, and Tenshi came pummeling me until I fell off the platform, but Sadisuto, although bruised, picked me up. "Thanks a bunch Sadi, now I can tell you're a bit hurt, so you can return, for now, now, go back to my Rift!" and I sent Sadisuto away. Now it was just me and Tenshi, because I knew Trinity was getting ready for the next part of the plan, which was to happen after winning. She didn't know about the problems faced inbetween, yet she knew that after winning, that would happen, and it was true.
I turned back for a split second to see how it was going, and i noticed this time, she went close to me, and kicked me, off the platform, once again, I was able to grab the ledge, until I got tired of falling, so I increased the size of the platform, and thickened it by 5 times. "Thanks." was all she said, I'm assuming because she didn't want me dead. It then kicked me, once I realized it was actually Yuuki, Yuuki. "Yuuki, ahh Yuuki! Now I remember, you are Gabriel's wife, and second in hand, am I correct? No wonder a pure chose to marry a pure, a pure with the only pure woman, how great it is. Well, now I know I can go full force on you, because Gabriel would surely be pissed, and I can see him angered. Yuuki the Quiet they call you, Yuuki the Queen, they also call you. Now, are you ready to die?" and she nodded.
"Sure. Gabriel will be pissed, and kill you." was all she said, and I understood it. basically she is doing nothing more than warning me, but I took it as a taunt. "Well ain't that great? A wife depending on her husband, when he himself is probably lollygagging around Heaven, thinking about what to do while he waits for you. Oh I wonder what his reaction will be when I send him your corpse, half mutilated, that is." and I started laughing again, I just couldn't control the excitement and adrenaline.

I then took the opprotunity to use my Soul Emifer, because using my Trump Card is not necessary. "Well then, awaken, Kyoka Suru! " and my Soul Emifer increased it's size, just by a teensy bit, yet the power increase was incredible. When I first dashed at her, she finally showed a sign of worry, rather than being straight faced all the time, I then was about to land a hit on her, but then Tenshi took the blow, and fell to the ground. She semed to despair after that. "Come on! In the midst of a battle you don't fall on your knees and cry, its not a time to mourn woman!"
I guess while I wait, I'll explain how Kyoka Suru works. Kyoka Suru is a Strengthening type of Soul Emifer, not much too it. Although I have fully mastered its strength, I know that I can never use it at its fullest, because at its fullest , it brought Master simply to his knees, which is like killing every Lord there was. At the moment, I splitted Kyoka into a hundred differnet parts, each for an increase of 1% of Kyoka's true strength. Kyoka's buffing is dependent solely on ME, and SE is what gets buffed. So, suppose I put Kyoka in phase 1, and I have a base power of 1,000 , an SE of 3,000 , and a ME of 2,000 . At phase 1, it will take 1% of the ME , for this example, 20, and then multiply it by the base power, which would be 1,000 which is 20,000 , and then multiply that with SE value, with would be 6,000,000. Thats how strong it is at , in phase 1. however, when I go to phase 2, it takes 6,000,000 as the base power, and adds it continuing on, so from normal to phase 1 would be the biggest jump in strength. These are not the exact values of mine, but it is an example. Base power, SE , and ME does not have an actual unit/value , yet, so we are just running off assumptions and such, but we are starting to create ways of calculating Base power, by mainly basis of muscle, ME from neurological activites, and SE is still a pure mystery.
After her mourning stopped, she simply stared at me dead eye, knowing that the only thing she wants to do is kill me now. Although her Familiar isn't dead, she is simply in a weakened state. Afterwards, I continued charging at her, and she couldn't dodge nor deflect it, and was brought to an end. I felt some mercy for her, because I could tell she was still holding back, and told her one thing . "Leave now, and next time we meet, it will be to the death." She refused to leave, so, I had nothing else to do but open a portal to Heaven, and throw her inside, because I've only raided Earth and Hell at the moment. Trinity then said the cat was in the bag.
I felt good, very good. Hazen, my friend, fell for a simple old trap. He used to always tell us about his old friends back before he met Master, which was Harry, most of the time. Harry knew he was abnormal, yet he still considered him as a friend, and was with him side by side, but they parted ways after he met with Master. Trinity took this opprotunity and dressed up as Harry, well, not exactly her, but Iansis did it for her. Familiar's work by a basis of contract, so to speak, she had no problems changing into a man's body and crossdressing, yet Iansis seemed a bit pissed at the order. After a few weeks of Trinity using Iansis, Hazen finally showed up at our gateway. "Ahh, Hazen, we meet at last. Ehh? You're unconscious? Damn, Nezah, your alter ego, always exhausts you, doesn't it? No matter, lets just take you away." but then that little incident occured, and I had to leave him be, for now, that is. I'm not sure what Trinity did afterwards, but she shortly returned behind me. "Don't worry, I put a tracker on him. If the plan goes accordingly, we will meet Johnny at Hell, our final destination, and the first place that will be sieged. " and she started laughing a bit crazily, as we sent Hazen back to Earth. It wasn't that hard really, and he didn't put up much of a fight either. Anyhows, this was just the beginning.
"This will turn out better than I expected." I thought, to myself, but I didn't know about the hurricane that was going to blow away my plans. "Now, my minions! Time to Siege the Dragons!" and we went off, after hearing the message that the Demon's were taken hostage, and most of them fled to the Angels. I knew this wasn't going to be that hard. Afterall, Master is still resting with the Demons , and God, with the Angels.

The Yes-Mage
Plenty of people have stopped and asked what it'd be like to simply have everything, and Sylvain Henry Camille Johansson was no different. He was a man who had a lot of things going on, with a name that'd make a supervillain blush and a family who'd make even the useless of their rank into someone important. It was a shame, then, that he was slapped with a dreadfully unfortunate condition that kept him from living up to any of those already low expectations. Stuck living a life where magic is everywhere while he's left working with nothing more than a moderate intellect, a little bit of whatever influence he could get from his family, and a lifetime's practice at making himself the ideal subordinate for his bosses' boss, Vane was still beating the odds and slowly working his way up in the world. When the cunning yes-man finally got a chance to really make a name for himself, he leapt at the offer, taking his first real step onto a road he knew he was always meant to walk. His goal? Nothing less than finding out why he and too many other unfortunate souls are barred from the wonderful world of the higher energies, and with any luck, fixing it. Of course, life has a knack for interfering in even the humblest of plans, and Vane's lofty ideals were anything but humble; he was practically a walking bullseye for disaster. The funny thing about catastrophe, though, is that nobody can ever say what form it's going to take. That’s why, when it all went wrong for Vane, he'd gotten everything he'd ever wanted foisted onto him, and Everything else, too. Watch as a man so used to saying 'yes' to everyone above him finds himself stuck with the power to make reality itself say it back.

8 153The Weather Vane
This is the first few chapter of my new book available on Amazon. The beginning is very light and fun, but more mature content comes later. From medieval fantasy to ultra high-tech to dinosaurs, The Weather Vane is a grippingly fast-paced adventure full of fun and excitement, literary flourish, and colorful characters. A group of ascendant masters find themselves in the afterlife and learn that they are newly recruited into the cosmic battle of good versus evil. Before they can join the fight, shipwreck strikes and they are lost in the ether. Stranded in a magical land beyond the reaches of the universe, The Weather Vane follows our crew of heroes as they try to piece things back together even while The Dark Lord’s forces march, maraud, and murder at every turn. Themes of darkness chase the overall levity of The Weather Vane which suffers not a lull as the climax begins near the beginning of the book and drives on through the greatly satisfying finish. The most epic of epics.
