《Stupid Cat》45- Vs Worst pt. 3

Broken trees formed a makeshift hexagon fort around Satou. Rikya laid below Satou as Satou ministered to her wounds. Outside of the fort a wasteland of stumps and foliage littered the ground. Renya moved busily slicing with her katana stripping tree branches off a tree like a lawnmower. A burst of flashes flickered in the air, revealing a bare tree without bark as they stopped. Renya then braced her legs and slashed. The tree fell with one strike. She threw her katana point down into a nearby stump and shouldered the entire tree easily.
Renya walked past a hairy blur who cut a deep one that went for her. A splash of blue blood hit Renya's face and she squinted by reflex.
"Won't you be a bit neater while you kill, Ichi?" Renya didn't stop walking with the tree as she complained to Ichi.
Ichi landed his huge hairy fist into another deep one. The creature took flight screeching as it bowled into an oncoming pack of them off of their limbs. Ichi looked at his hands.
"I am entirely blue." Ichi said. "Want to switch?"
"You'll mess up my fort." Renya muttered darkly.
Ichi knew it was time to back off from her tone. He yelled out when the deep ones started surging out of the forest, "Renya protect Rikya!" What surprised him the most was that Renya actually listened. He spared himself a glance at Renya as she put the next tree into place on what was quickly becoming a hut. Then he turned and punched. With a sniff he knew a deep one was right behind him. His nose never failed him.
Which was why he got worried when he smelled cologne. Ichi hadn't smelled anything like it since he was in the city. Walking past a luxorious shop on the way to school, Ichi smelled something like this. His brow furrowed as his hand grabbed what he thought was a deep ones head and crushed it. The deep one fell to the ground and laid still. Ichi nodded in satisfaction.

The rest of them were retreating. Their smells were fading away. Ichi could tell the distance by instinct. The cologne smell was getting closer. Ichi's heart thumped harder. He swung his stick around shaking himself trying to get the guts and blood off of himself. Ichi wanted to look presentable, at the least, he was going to be meeting a Seer's Council member for the first time. If Ichi got his way, it'll be the last. But, there was always a chance that he could be a nice guy, right? Ichi mused in his head that maybe he'd be able to talk his way out of it, "No no I'll give her the cat right away sir!"
Like Ichi would say that. His gripped tightened as his eyes caught on to fleck of white dancing in the dark. It came from the direction of the cologne smell.
"Renya. He's here. Mind helping?"
"Let me finish."
Ichi snapped his head around, watching as Renya sheared the next tree of all of it's foliage. Then, he slowly turned his head around. He faced the white walking figure as it melted out of the darkness and into the moonlit. In front of Ichi stood a man in a fashionable white suit with white shoes. Blond hair and blue eyes with a white coat cut above the knee.
The guy looked like a model in a catalog. Ichi wanted to punch him already, and the guy hadn't said a word.
The man looked at Ichi. A business smile crawled on his face. Ichi thought of a used car salesman. Ichi and Scipio's eyes met each other and Scipio spoke first.
"Sorry, sorry, didn't know you were here. I swear. Danzaburo's kid?" Scipio pointed at him as he walked closer. As he closed the distance, he held out his hand to the big blue blood covered hairy giant.
"Hello. I'm Scipio. Our fathers are good friends, go way back. Nice to meet you."
