Chirp Chirp

The birds outside Yang Guang's window start to sing under the sunlight of the morning sun as if calling him to wake up from his sleep, but their efforts were for nothing.

WAKE UP WE ARE OUT OF TIME

The door to Yang Guang's room is kick wide open, the old man rush in and drags Yang Guang out from his bed; he then slaps him repeatedly while shouting. "Keep on sleeping if you want to die!"

Yang Guang instantly open his eyes and stands up, he rushes out from his room in fear but when he pass by Yu Chen's room he stops for a moment.

He then turns around and looks at the old man who is now coming out from the room and asks. "Is Yu Chen awake?"

The old man shakes his head and said to Yang Guang. "He has locked himself up since last night."

Yang Guang and the old man then walk down stairs to start their day.

"Let's start cooking now or we would run out of time before she comes back." the old man said seriously to Yang Guang.

Yang Guang nods and reply to the old man. "Remember we need to clean up the kitchen too, or we will still die no matter what."

"Let's wash the ingredients first, after that we can start preparing the broth for the noodles." the old man said while taking the ingredients that they bought yesterday out from the fridge.

After an hour or so the both of them finally finish washing the ingredients and preparing the broth.

"I will start making my legendary noodles, you can start preparing the steam fish." the old man said cockily while handing Yang Guang a fish.

TAK TAK TAK TAK TAK

The sound of ginger and scallions being slice on the chopping board has a nice rhythm to it like it was a nice little song. Yang Guang then put the ginger and scallions slices on top and beside the fish.

He then place the fish into the wok and start the fire, he then walks toward his grandpa to check on his progress on the noodles.

PAK

Yang Guang instantly hit his grandpa's head when he sees what he has done, he then said. "You have killed us both with you love for steam buns."

The old man suddenly notices what he has done when the plate that should have been filled with noodles is now filled with steam buns.

Yang Guang then sighs and pats the old man to comfort him, he then tells the old man that his brain is a big steam bun and he should have just take it out and eat it instead of using it to think.

"We are dead; there is not enough flour to make noodles anymore." the old man start to panic.

"You still can cook and make jokes after what you see last night?" suddenly Yu Chen voice can be heard from the living room, Yang Guang and the old man turn his head and sees Yu Chen standing there with a disgusted look on his face.

Yang Guang the walks towards Yu Chen and let him sit on the sofa then he takes out a DVD from under the sofa and put it in the DVD player for Yu Chen, he then says. "You need to relax, here watch this."

Summer Bikini Fun Time

When Yu Chen sees the title of the DVD on the TV screen he stands up and walks towards Yang Guang and shouts. "IS THIS A JOKE?!"

Yang Guang looks at Yu Chen with a confuse face and asks. "Is something wrong? This is grandpa’s favorite show"

"You... you... BASTARD!" Yu Chen rises up his fist and prepares to punch Yang Guang, at the same moment he unconsciously uses fear lock on Yang Guang.

The punch connects on Yang Guang's face, but as if nothing had happen Yang Guang pushes Yu Chen's fist away and kick him in the chest.

Yang Guang then turns around and leaves Yu Chen alone, while leaving Yang Guang sighs to himself.

The old man then appears in front of Yu Chen and hands him a piece of paper and some cash. He then says. "Can you go out and buy a few things on this list?"

Yu Chen then nods and leaves the house, at the same time at a nearby airport.

"Welcome back boss." Wang Guo Ming bows down when he sees an old lady with a white pony tail and black sunglasses walking towards him.

The old lady now stands in front of Wang Guo Ming; she then pats the head of the commanding officer of the Song City police department like he was a little boy.

The old lady smiles and says. "Song City's commanding officer is here for me? I'm so happy."

"Of course boss, you are our leader after all." Wang Guo Ming says with a wide smile on his face.

The both of them get on a taxi and head to Song City, all the sudden the old lady asks Wang Guo Ming a question. "Little Ming how do you still remember when will I come back? It has been 2 months since I have left."

Wang Guo Ming gives out a dry laugh and answers. "Every damn hunter in Song City remembers when you will come back, so why would I forget?"

The old lady laughs and says. "How sweet, I just hope those 2 idiots will remember too."

Wang Guo Ming then thinks to himself. 'In Song City there will be no one who has the guts to forget something so important, well there is those 2."

Back at Song City, Yu Chen is now walking around the streets alone looking for a shop where he can buy the things on the list that were given to him by the old man.

While walking around Yu Chen pass by a playground, he sees a few children playing happily with each other and their parents chatting happily with smiles on their faces and laughter in the area.

Yu Chen then keeps on walking until he sees an old couple holding their granddaughter hands while they walk down the street, the smile on their granddaughter face when she hears that they are going to have their favorite food for dinner was sees by Yu Chen.

Then Yu Chen walks by the same alleyway where the man was eaten by the goblin hybrid, he then thoughts to himself. 'How can those people still smile with the danger lurking around the city at night? Somebody died last night because of me.'

That same feeling is now pouring back into Yu Chen's heart, the thought of killing surface and becomes more vivid and stronger.

The passerby stops and looks at Yu Chen, all of them feels uncomfortable when looking at him like a wild beast is sitting beside them, all the sudden that feeling disappears the sense of relief can be seen on their faces as the quickly leave this place.

"This isn't a place where you can do something like that cutie." the old lady that was with Wang Guo Ming at the airport says to Yu Chen.

Yu Chen then turns around and sees an old lady holding a piece of talisman in her hand.

"You are a hunter right?" the old lady asks Yu Chen and Yu Chen confirms by nodding.

After that Yu Chen left and keeps on his search for flour and other things that the old man wanted him to buy.

The old lady quietly follows behind him to make sure nothing happens, but after 30 minutes Yu Chen still cannot find any shops that sell the things he wanted.

The old lady start to get angry and shows up in front of Yu Chen she then says to Yu Chen. "Cutie what are you doing walking around in circles?"

"I'm trying to find a shop that sells these things." Yu Chen then shows the piece of paper that the old man gives him.

The old lady then smiles and says. "Let me bring you to a convenience store around here.” Yu Chen nods and follow after her.

"You know I have a grandson that was as cute as you, but the older he gets the uglier he gets." The old lady sighs while looking as Yu Chen.

Yu Chen then blushes a little bit, when the old lady sees Yu Chen's face she laugh in her heart and thought to herself. 'He is so CUTE!'

The both of them finally reach the convenience store; the old lady waits outside for Yu Chen while he goes shopping.

After a few minutes Yu Chen comes out with a bag of groceries in his hand, Yu Chen thanks the old lady and then the both of them parted their separate ways.

10 minutes later they found themselves walking on the same road together; they didn't say a word to each other and keeps on walking.

Back at Yang Guang's house, the old man and Yang Guang sit at the dining table resting, suddenly Yang Guang says. "I meet Mo Jia Xiang yesterday."

The old man then looks at his grandson for a moment and then says. "Is there something wrong with him?"

Yang Guang shake his head and says. "Not much, it is just him advancing to rank 2."

He then stops for a moment and looks at the door, after that he says to the old man. "I think Yu Chen is just like him."

"Why do you think so?" the old man asked due to this sentence perking up his interest.

Yang Guang takes a deep breath and says. "They both want to get stronger but they want the world to stay happy and cheerful like a perfect fantasy, Mo Jia Xiang wants to be a world class sprinter with the help of damn hunters but don't want responsibility of being a damn hunter while Yu Chen wants strength of a damn hunter but do not want the ugly side of hunting for example failure."

"So?" the old man only says one word to his grandson.

Yang Guang tone suddenly change and his face become serious. "I want Yu Chen to quit being a damn hunter, if he cannot cope with things like this he will end up going crazy and harm others."

"Give him a chance, if he cannot accept failure during hunts I will personally send him back to Gallant City." the old man also becomes serious.

Outside the house, Yu Chen looks at the old lady and asks. "Do you live here?"

"Let's just go in and you will know." the old lady laughs and open the front gates.

When the door opens the old man shouts. "Yu Chen comes in fast the demonic psycho witch eater will be back in a few hours so we need to continue cooking."

"Can you repeat that?"

The old man then laughs and shouts. "THE DEMONIC PSYCHO WITCH MONSTER EATER IS COMING!"

BAM

"What do you say?" the old lady then hits the old man repeatedly until he was knock unconscious, she then looks at the kitchen and sees what a mess that it has become.

Yang Guang then slowly stands up from his sit but the old lady grabs his head and says. "So I'm a demonic psycho witch monster eater huh? It is bad enough that the both of you didn't fetch me at the airport instead you stay at home and made a mess in my kitchen."

‘So this is the demonic psycho witch monster eater?’ Yu Chen thinks to himself when he sees the old lady chases Yang Guang and the old man around.

The old lady then beats Yang Guang and the old man until they are senseless, with one strong punch she forces the both of them to shout.
