In a room, Kaori and Honoka were laying in a bed sleeping soundly. It was already an hour since they fell asleep, when suddenly, the door of the room were slowly opened.

Honoka made sure to lock the door since she doesn't trust Shin, but, what she did not expect was the one to barge in the room was not Shin, but instead Hideki!

Hideki seemed to have found the key to the room, and silently went inside. In the darkness of the night, he slowly made his way to the bed where the girls were lying together.

His eyes shone with lust then licked his lips. Even though he looked righteous, he had strong sexual desire which he have suppressed to maintain his image. But after witnessing so much death, and losing hope to live on, he decided to fulfill his desire and immerse himself in lust.

There was no law to stop him, and death could come anytime, so he did not wait anymore, but instead acted quickly.

Slowly, he tried to lift up Kaori. He chose her since she looked frail and weak and would be the type to not fight back and simply cry.

Since Kaori was extremely tired with the whole day of walking and escaping disaster, her sleep was extremely deep. Even though Hideki have lifted her up, she didn't wake up.

Hideki quickly, moved out of the room trying to transfer Kaori in another room, but outside, he accidentally tripped out of nervousness and startled Kaori. Koari woke up in his arms and said. "What's happening Hideki? Where are you taking me?"

Suddenly, it all quickly came to her, she panicked and tried to get off Hideki, but she was too weak. Hideki covered her mouth and prevented her from screaming.

Since she already woke up, Hideki decided to use force. He ripped Kaori's clothes and exposed her body, after which he started licking the girl on various parts, while covering his mouth and holding her hands in place.

Kaori, could only cry and struggle to get away, however, she was too small and frail. Not even a minute passed and Hideki already violated and touched all of her upper body. The situation was to much for her, so she fought back more and didn't care anymore if she was hurt.

kicking everywhere, she luckily kicked a table which held a vase in place. With her kick, the vase fell on the ground and shattered creating a noise which startled Honoka.

Honoka who was already suspicious of Shin suddenly woke up and quickly realized that Kaori was missing. She knew that guys could do something extremely crazy in such a situation, so she rushed out trying to look for Kaori.

Outside, she saw Hideki trying to violate Kaori, her upper clothes were all open revealing her private parts. Even her underwear was already pulled down and tears filled her face.

On the other hand, Hideki was filled with vicious look and held Kaori's hands tightly.

Honoka was engaged beyond words with what she saw. She kicked Hideki wildly, throwing him a meter away. Then she grabbed a wooden chair and slammed it at Hideki, making him shout in pain. After which she kept punching Hideki, in which Hideki failed to fight back.

Honoka was famous for her martial arts skill in her school, even Hideki knew about it, so he avoided choosing Honoka as target. But, he never expected that Honoka would wake up and attack him suddenly where he lost all chance to fight back.

After a while of beating, Hideki lost consciousness and was tied up by Honoka. She then covered up Kaori and looked around trying to find Shin.

At the living room, he found Shin sitting in front of the door calmly. She knew that it was impossible for Shin not to notice everything that happened. Yet, he was there sitting without care.

Grabbing Shin's collar, she glared at him then shouted in rage. "Why did you not help Kaori? Did you plan to share her with him?"

Shin simply looked at her right in the eyes and said. "I never promised to protect you guys. I do not know what your relationships are, so I have no right to interfere in any event. Also, I might not be a match to Hideki, so it would be to my best interest to stay here and avoid any conflict."

Honoka was enraged more with Shin's words, she lifted up her arms attempting to punch him. But looking at Shin's expressionless face, she could not do it. She knew that what Shin said was right. He had no obligation to help any of them and act righteous in a world with no law.

She also have seen crimes along the way, which made her put her guard up, but she never expected that the one who would target them would be Hideki.

After holding, Shin's collar for a while, she loosened her grip and pulled her arms away then proceeded back to the room along with Kaori. Hideki on the other hand, was left in a corner tightly tied up.

In the next day, Shin quickly started removing, the things blocking the door. The whole night, he only slept a bit, and the whole time, he studied the motes of light around him.

He now knew that they were really mana, since he realized that it was slowly absorbed by his body whenever he rests. He used the Absolute Defense several times during the night to test his mana recovery, but to his dismay it wasn't as fast as he imagined it to be.

Also, he tested Luck!!! one more time, but ended up getting extremely low result, he only got a boost of 1 agility after activating it, which just proved that it really gives random amount of boost in stat which could possibly be based on luck!

This time, since he have already gathered enough information about his body and his skills, he needs to know about his enemies.

Honoka saw him trying to get out and immediately asked hatefully. "Where are you going?"

Shin didn't look back and said. I need to find an encampment where there are more survivors to ensure my own safety.

Honoka knew that Shin was serious about leaving since Hideki acted that way, and she also blamed Shin last night for what happened. She knew that they would be left behind and abandoned if she did nothing.

Not willing to go out alone with Kaori in such a crazy situation, Honoka gritted her teeth and said. "Allow us to follow you, I can defend myself and I will also defend Kaori. We will not bother you and only travel along with you."

Shin didn't reply for a while and continued his preparation. When he was almost done, he said. "Alright, but please don't cause trouble."

Also, since Honoka is a woman with values, she doesn't know what to do with Hideki.

Shin noticed this and said. "So how will you deal with him? Kill him?"

Hideki roared with fury towards Shin. "Shin you bastard! We planned last night together! You were the one who told me to do it!"

Shin glared at Hideki and simply sneered at him. Even Honoka was now confused of who to trust. The way that Shin did nothing last night was a proof that he either approved of Hideki's action, or it might be what he claimed, that he simply doesn't want to get involved.

Being torn in a dilemma she decided to risk it and rely on Shin. There was no way for her to protect Kaori on her own.

She had witnessed the situation outside and it would still be best to move with a man rather than move with only two girls.

Also she decided to leave behind Hideki all tied up, she knew that it would be equal to killing him. But, she could not bear to take him with them.

The three then ventured outside leaving Hideki behind.

Luckily, only after walking 500 meters they met two of those creatures.

Honoka went in front of Kaori to protect her, but the actions of Shin shocked her.

Shin quickly activated his Absolute Defense and his skin toughened up. Then he activated his special skill Luck!!!.

'Agility +10'

Without hesitation, he attacked the two creature with determination.

His movement was fast, it was twice as fast as his previous movement. Even Honoka who was supposed to be a martial artist was taken aback by how fast Shin was.

Not even a minute passed, Shin successfully killed the two creature. Quickly, he dissected it which shocked Honoka even more.

It was not normal for someone to fight those creatures without hesitation, and even so dissect them afterwards.

Shin simply frowned since he still did not find the same pill in the monsters. Currently, he have already killed several of these creatures and he only got one of those pill.

Also, the one where he got the pill looked different and bigger. If he compared it, it was like the boss of these smaller creatures.

When he thought about it being the boss. His eyes gleamed with understanding. "So is it really a boss type? Maybe only those boss types have those skill pills!"

"Why are you dissecting it?" Honoka came closer asking curiously.

"Nothing important. I was just curious." Shin answered.

He wasn't sure yet if he could trust Honoka, so not telling him the secret about mana and not letting them gain a level could allow him to feel safer around these two.

She was able to beat up a man easily, so it means that if she gains a level, she might actually be a threat to Shin if she ever came to a disagreement with him.

After several hours of walking, they encountered the same creatures which Shin quickly killed by simply using a metal bat.

Honoka was also eager to help, but she was too wary of getting injured. No one knows what might happen if one get injured by these creatures. It might cause infections or incurable diseases.

However, Shin was different, he simply kept charging and confidently dodged all the attacks of the creatures. In fact, it wasn't easy to dodge them, they were nimble and wild. Extreme confidence is needed to do what Shin was doing.

But in Shin's perspective, it was easier because he have Absolute Defense that made him confident to fight with the creatures.

He haven't been hit once, but if he ever get's unlucky and got hit, he could rely in his Absolute Defense to possibly block the damage.

Also, he did not forget to rest after every fight. Even though he was still not tired, he needed mana to fight the creatures, so resting for a bit was necessary.

After killing a bit more, Shin gained another level. Now he is level 3 and with 6 unused stat points.

After using Luck!!! several times already, he realized that it is a skill possibly affected by his luck stat.

Also, his luck stat is higher compared to his other stats, which proved that it is his primary attribute.

"I need to decide sooner or later, but I trust that luck is what I need, so I will risk it and put it all in luck."

All his stat points were put into luck making it 26. He didn't feel any change, unlike when strength and agility was added to his stats by his skill.

However, he did not regret his decision and continued onward. From now on he decided to focus on increasing his luck and observe if it can actually affect his special skill.

And if it does, it could possibly make him instantly powerful!
