Well looks like I’m now a slime in a forest.

Somthing about this seems cliche, but without memory’s I can’t tell what.

I have a second live now, but what should I do with it?

I feel like the one who reincarnated me should have told me what to do.

But nobody told me to do anything.

Looking at my status my name is still blank.

Maybe I was just wrong, trusting that things that feel right are true.

Well what now?

Just live?

Why?

For what?

Is this what a newborn with the knowledge of an adult feels like?

Well for now I’ll set myself the goal to get stronger, that is what my skills seem to be for.

Maybe the system wants me to do somthing and tells me with my skills that I should get stronger.

Well that’s good enough a purpose in life for now.

Seems like I can see, touch, hear.

Well smell and taste seem to be the same thing now but my feeling, as well as the existence of the two separate words, makes me conclude that they weren’t before.

So Gluttony Leveling.

What does a slime eat?

Plants?

Meat?

My taste/smell tells me that just earth probably isn’t a wrong answer.

So let’s just do that I’ll eat the dirt and while I’m at it I can make myself a burrow at the same time.

10 minutes later

Update good and bad news.

Good News, I have now 1 Bio Mass.

Bad news, my burrow attempt collapsed on top of me and I’m now underground.

Well not in a cave underground, but like there’s dirt all around me and I can’t see the sun.

I’m buried is what I wanted to say.

Related discovery, I don’t need to breath.

Also I think slimes are very instinct driven, because I don’t think I would have figured out how to eat this quickly or move for that matter.

It a mystery to me what I thought how a slime should move, but I don’t think it’s the way I move around.

To move around I move my body around my core in a circular motion, to sort of roll forward.

Like my speed stat says it’s not very fast.

But now that I think about moving, I think my instincts tell me that I can jump and how to.

Not that I can test it right now, since I’m still you know buried.

And don’t think I was just here talking and doing nothing.

I have been eating or absorbing my surroundings, whatever you want to call it, the whole time since I got into this mess.

Now that I think about it, I should have made my burrow under a tree, just so you know the ceiling can’t fall on me.

That’s what I will do once I escape here.

Well now here I am with 3 Bio Mass in a hole.

I don’t know why I thought that I would be free if all the dirt is gone, it kind makes sense that now, I’m just in, you know, a hole with slants to steep to rolle out.

Guess I’ll try that jumping now.

So how do I do that.

It seams it takes a while to “charge up” my jump.

I feels like when I’m normally rolling around but instead of making a full circle, around my core, I stop the movement under myself and it feels like I’m compressing myself.

Of course that’s impossible liquids can’t be compressed, at least I think that’s true.

And it’s not as if I’m shrinking right now.

So what am I compressing?

Am I compressing the magic that makes me able to move my body around?

Well I think, I was ready to jump since a while ago.

Let’s test it out.

And this isn’t quite what I expected, as I let go of the compressed somthing, I’m catapulted upwards and right into a branch from a tree.

Well at least I didn’t hit my core on the branch.

I simply let myself fall back down.

So now let’s try to burrow again.

Eventually I found a nice tree and started to dig under it.

20 minutes later

This time the burrow didn’t collapse on top of me and I even managed to make it with multible exits, 3 in total.

And after finishing that I now have 5 Bio Mass in total and I wonder if I can do somthing with that much.

Looks like I can level up.

But maby it would be better to safe my Bio Mass for a second body.

I don’t think one level up will double my stats.

Having a second body would be very useful, not only makes it everything safer since I have a back up I could also eat twice as fast.

I think I decider I will continue to eat dirt in my little hole here until I have a second body and I can then send that one exploring.
