《Galactic Intervention》002 Taurus

After I picked myself up front the ground I felt like I needed some food so I went back to my kitchen to get some food. After eating some fruit I decided that I should venture outside but from the roof. I went and grabbed some rope and made knots throughout the thing to make footholds. I tied the rope to a beam in the wall as an anchor. I went upstairs and threw the rope out the window. Once I made sure that the area was clear I climbed down the rope. Once I hit the grassy ground I crouched down and crouch walked everywhere I went.
After some exploring of the area for mobs I decided to try to get into the dead guy's house without being noticed. Once I got into the house I went to grab the guy's gun and anything else seemingly useful. I went past the man and a hand grabbed my ankle. I grabbed my sword and swung at the hand. I stopped right before the sword connected because I noticed that the hand was very small like a child's. I used all of my strength to lift the rubble. A little girl was trapped under the fallen wall. I pulled her out then set down the wall. "Are you okay?" I said in a hushed tone.
She looked past me and stared at her dead father. Her eyes started to well up and overflow with tears. I felt so terrible but then again what could have I done? I wasn't gonna be able to kill the bull and there was no way I could revive her father.
She fell over and rolled into a ball I put my jacket on her then walked over into the kitchen and filled my bag with food and knives. Once I got out of the kitchen I saw that she walked out into the street and was running to the bull with a small pocket knife. She ran up and stabbed the bull's leg. I used all the power in me and rushed forwards at speeds I couldn't normally run.

The bull kicked out and struck the girl in her leg. I could hear the audible snapping noise. I unsheathe my sword and stabbed the bull in it's flank. "You will pay for her pain you piece of AH!!!"
I didn't notice but the horned rabbit had come behind me and stuck me in the side.
You have received 6 damage. 14 HP left!
I jumped onto the back of the bull and pulled out my bowie knife to stab the rabbit. Once the knife connected the rabbit spasmed and shook till it went limp. The bull bucked and jump around trying to kick me off of it's back. I flicked the rabbit off of the knife and grabbed the bulls horn. Big mistake on my part. The bull used it's horn to whip me forward.
I held onto the horn and used the knife to slash the bull's big throat. Once it started bleeding I started to stab at the eyes.
You have dealt 4 damage. You have made the bull bleed profusely. 5 bleeding damage per second for 20 seconds.
You have dealt a critical hit! 8 damage. You have disabled the mountain bulls eyes. The bull is now permanently blind.
The bull slammed its head into the ground whipping me against the ground.
You have received 8 damage. 6 HP left!!!
The bull rush off a few feet then turned around. It looked to be dying but still able to do damage. It might be able to smell me. The bull ran at me but off by a little bit. I looked where the bull would run. The girl was crawling away right into the bull's path. The bull was only a few feet away from me now at full running speed.
With the last ounce of strength left in me I grabbed the sword and used it to pull me onto the bull I gripped my knife and stabbed the bulls front right leg making it swerve to the right only a foot or two away from the girl. The bull fell to the ground with me on top of it. I got my leg out from under it. I grabbed the bull's horns and pulled it head up. I began to savagely stab the bull to death. "Die for her pain, my pain, and for the death of a family!"

I thought about it for a minute and couldn't help myself but to name it "Bull's eye".

I followed the dragging marks and found the girl weeping over her family. "Why did this happen?"
"I don't know but how about you come back to my place where it is safe. I got food and water that i'm willing to share if you want."
She stood up and ran over. She hugged my waist and looked up "Please don't leave me behind."
I crouched down and went to her eye level "I won't leave you behind I promise this to you. Come on let's go little one."

The Unsorcerer
DISCLAIMER: The cover pic is not my original work. Credits goes to the Illustrator. This is a story of a man named Cipher, a 21st Century man reincarnated in a world where magic is the way of life. In the continent of Iarica, the people of this land are able to wield the crystals or magic stones for whatever purpose they desire. These people are called "Sorcerers", blessed individuals who are favored by the Gods and gifted with an ability to manipulate "Mana", the energy of the World and the energy source that makes all of the machines run. Cipher in contrast, is not. He is an "Unsorcerer", a person unable to wield the crystals and mana and eventually magic itself. Because of this "defect", he is shunned, ridiculed, and abused by most people and eventually by the whole society. Little did Iarica and her denizens know, this so-called reject of society is more than what he seems... Note: This humble Author-san is not a native English speaker, so there will be grammatical errors. Also the chapters are short, about 1K words. However I will try my best efforts on reaching the 2k-4k words threshold. Another note is that this will be a Harem fic, so to anyone who are not fan of the genre this may not be your cup of tea. Any criticsm are welcome as long it can help me to improve my writing skills since I'm just a newcomer in this scene.

The Designated: Out of Control
It happened quicker than anyone would have imagined. Multiple hurricanes were one thing. People had dealt with that in the past. But, like kids playing dominoes, one thing crashed into another. Areas affected by hurricanes needed resources all along the Gulf and East Coasts drew rescuers and resources away from other parts of the country. When wildfires lit up the Pacific coast and mid-west, those areas were already understaffed. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.

The Storytellers
Myra Kahani lives in a world of gods and prayers. People around her constantly reach out to the gods for advice and suggestions at critical times in their life. But Myra has a problem. No matter what she does, she can't talk to the gods. When Myra meets Roam, an old, enigmatic Storyteller, she finally gets some answers. She learns of the origins of the Universe, the divide between mankind and their deities, and the important role that Storytellers play in her world. But the truth for Myra is just the beginning of her story. The Storytellers is a story that I began to develop from a series of shorter stories that I wrote for a mythology and folklore class. As such, they have a strong basis in the myths and folklore of various cultures and religions. Join me as I try my best to integrate these stories into my own and develop the world of the Storytellers and Myra herself. This is my first attempt at any sort of longer-form fiction so helpful advice is greatly appreciated!
