《Universe 2.0》Chapter 97 William went home

William led the others onto the spaceship. He started the electromagnetic engine and heard its low roar. "Are you happy, everyone? We're going home soon." He turned around and said, "But before this, I want to show Rebecca and Aria my secret base."
"Oh?" They looked at each other in surprise. Rebecca went over to William and touched his shoulder gently with the propeller, "What's that, Master?"
"You'll soon find out." He just laughed mysteriously and steered the ship out of the planet's atmosphere. "Faster-than-light mode!" He said. The ship's electromagnetic engine sent out a high-pitched scream, driving the ship fast sailing. In the blink of an eye, they were gone into the endless, dark, cold space.
"Here I come, home!" Said William excitedly. These two galaxies were not far away, so it took them only an hour to reach the planet α-3665D. The ship entered the atmosphere and slowly approached the surface of the sea.
"Look." Said William, pointing to the sea, "My secret base, the undersea villa, is down there." Then the ship dived, getting closer and closer to the three-storey building that stood on the sea floor.
They parked the ship and opened the door to enter the villa. Larry was sitting on the sofa. At the sound of the party opening the door, he jumped so excitedly that he nearly hit the roof. A few seconds later, he saw the silhouette of the party in front of his eyes.
"It's you, Master!" He almost shouted, "How lucky to see you again before you start school! I thought you were going straight back to Earth."
"Ha ha, I'd like to take a look and then go. You see, these are my two new friends. Oh, and him." He introduced Rebecca, Aria, and the flying robot to Larry, "Tell them about this place, please."
"No problem, Master! I will surprise you, dear Rebecca and Aria!" Then he gave a quick and brief introduction to William's undersea villa. His introduction, though brief, was very detailed and specific.
Rebecca said to William, "Wow! Never in my wildest dreams did I realize there was such a magical place! Lucky you, Master!" The living room was filled with the laughter of the party.
"Would you like to stay here a few days before going home, Master?" Larry asked William expectantly.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I really want to go home and see my family right now. So, I'm leaving in a few hours. However, I will have many more holidays. Maybe I will come here every holiday to rest!"
"OK, that's all right. I promise to provide the best service!" Said the lamp solemnly. The party laughed again.

The lamp showed them around. "If you set out now, you would arrive at Earth right in the evening." Larry said, checking the time.
"That's great!" Said William, "I'll be off then! Good-bye!"
"Goodbye!" The others waved, saying to the lamp.
"Looking forward to seeing you in winter holiday!" The lamp said.
"I will definitely come to play!" William replied excitedly as he led the others out of the villa and onto the spaceship. Now, they were going to Earth.
It was a coincidence that it was evening when they left the undersea villa. The two planets had different rotation rates, which meant it was difficult to get the same relative time within a certain absolute time difference.
A red-orange star appeared in front of the ship and moved closer and closer to the party. When they were close enough, William saw a beautiful blue and green planet. "I'm coming, home!" He slowed the ship down so that it could be better captured by gravity.
Soon the spaceship was on the ground. William took control of it and managed to have it parked in the basement of the abandoned warehouse, where he found it. "Good! And you're done!" William stopped the electromagnetic engine and breathed a sigh of relief. "I'm coming, home!" He cried excitedly, running quickly toward the villa. The others followed quickly.
Mighty and Sally were already waiting at the door. They, too, shouted excitedly at the sight of a familiar figure hurtling toward them. "My son!" Mighty ran excitedly to William. He opened his arms and let William rush into his hug. The two tall figures hugged each other tightly, and tears of joy welled up like fountains. "You've come back at last!" Mighty sobbed with emotion. "Yes, Dad, I'm home!" Cried William, wiping away his tears. Then the joyous laughter of the party echoed through the air that was reddened by the afterglow of the setting sun.
"Wow, your friends! Welcome!" Sally saw Ranran, Photon, Natalie, Rebecca, Aria, and the flying robot. They said hello to each other.
William opened the door quickly and threw himself in. Sally had just mopped the floor, so it was very slippery, and William was moving too fast. Then they saw him fall forward and let out a scream. They burst into "ha ha ha" again. "Good heavens, Master! Must you be in such a hurry!" Rebecca joked. William was also infected by the laughter and laughed.
Everyone went into the house. "It's good you're okay." Sally touched William's head lovingly and said kindly.
"Yes, Master. Your safe return will be the best gift to Mom and Dad." Added Photon.

William nodded thoughtfully and said, "William is standing here safe and sound. Do you want to know the whole story of my journey?"
"Of course I do!" Mighty said.
"I thought you would say that, Dad." William said, "I'm sure I'll tell you, but not by dictation. I'm going to write a book about it in detail! This is my most valuable treasure, because this trip has made me more confident and stronger. I wondered if I would ever make it home, but here I am, safe and sound, talking to you. So, I'll never forget this trip, and that's why I will write the book."
"Wonderful!" Natalie exclaimed, "Master, I promise we will be there for you and your faithful readers!"
Once more, the room was filled with happy laughter.
Mighty said, "You did a really good job, son. I designed this virtual universe to give you an idea of how powerful faith really is. In these last moments, without confidence and determination, I don't know what on earth can sustain you back. Your performance has also made me understand that people are small, but they can also be great. You are great because you have overcome the impossible. Mom and I have been worried about your lack of confidence for a long time, but we can put that behind us now."
"Yes, I know what you're trying to say, Dad." William replied, "I gave up an easy physics question for nothing, but now I feel very foolish. That's a million times easier than fighting against a fighter! Why didn't I want to take a chance and beat them? I should thank you, Dad. Without this trip, a better future would not have been possible for me, because I would never think about the meaning of life, pay more efforts, achieve more, and let my life shine in its brightest light."
Thunderous applause broke out. "And, certainly, the support of my good friends is essential too. Without their encouragement, maybe I wouldn't be here now." William turned and looked lovingly at the others.
"It's your struggle that counts, Master." Aria walked up to him and smiled, "We're just your right hand men. But we are happy to be your right hand men."
William went to the window and watched the darkening sky. In the distance, the lights gradually increased. The stars took the place of the sun, blinking naughtily in the clear night, as if trying to understand everything on this blue and green planet. The window was open. The cool night air came through the window and touched William's face with its gentle hands. A few birds flew past, their song disappearing in the wind. The sunset glow said goodbye reluctantly.
"Come and rest in the bedroom," Said William. The others followed him upstairs. He went to his desk and sat down in a comfortable chair. Ranran sat beside him.
"William went home," William said with a thin, satisfied smile. He was still looking at the clear night sky. So was Ranran. The night sky was clear and transparent, like a dark black diamond. William caught a glimpse of her clear eyes. He thought they were even more beautiful than the night sky.
Photon, Natalie, Rebecca, Aria, and the flying robot stood behind them, looking at the night sky without a word.
"Those scenes are still very clear." Said Photon a moment later, "They give me the illusion that I just finished our journey yesterday."
"In fact it hasn't even been a day since I woke up!" William laughed.
"Oh! No wonder I remember a lot of details, hee-hee-hee. Master, would you like to begin your book now?"
"I don't think so. School will start soon, so I will have a rest and adjust. Your memories are much stronger than mine and Ranran's, because you can store them in your memories, but we have to rely on the building of new synapses in our brains to remember things. So I think you can come back and help me write a book a long time later."
"A long time? What time will that be?" Aria asked.
"I don't know either." William smiled, "It depends on how intense my work is. But I can write the title page first."
Finishing saying, he found a nice card and took a pen from the drawer. Then he looked up at the night sky.
William turned around and said, "I'll write on this card first. I'll keep it well so I can find it when I write my book."
"OK." Smiled Aria, "However, where do you want to put it?"
"Right here." He said, pointing at that drawer.
"No problem. I have remembered that!" Natalie said.
"We all have." Said Photon.
William laughed, "You guys deserve to be my right hand men!" Then he wrote these words on the card.
Forge your lead with rock-like faith, and fill your fuel with fire-like struggle. Then you will become the most gorgeous fireworks, interpreting the meaning of life with dazzling light.
