In the evening of a chilly cold winter, the north wind is bleak.

The Women and Children's Hospital in the city center is in a mess.

"I want to see Brian Si, he won't let you do this, no..." Florence Li curls up on the bed, pale, holding tightly her belly.

With the words, the air in the ward seems frozen.

Brian's chilly glance goes around in the room, and finally back to Florence. His eyebrows raise with displeasure. He says,“All go out!”

Florence shakes her head and trembles back in horror, until her back hits the icy bed rail and there remains no way to retreat!

With his lips flattened, he clasps her wrists, yanks her up to him, looks into her damp red eyes, and says in a cold voice, "Let you go? Hmm! Did you let Antonia go?"

When she gasps, Brian continues, "When Antonia begged you to let her go, what did you do?"

Brian does not answer. It suddenly dawns on Florence that he doesn't detest her but hates her to the core!

He stares at her with his cold eyes, "Li, this child is the retribution against you!"

Not long after, a doctor comes in. Brian looks bleakly down at her face, as pale as transparent, and commands indifferently, "Give her the anesthetic. In an hour, I'd like to hear the news of a successful operation."

"Yes, sir!"

Seeing Brian’s figure fade out of the door, Florence even forgets to resist. The moment the doctor stabs the cold needle into her vein, Florence is suddenly gripped by a powerful desire to laugh, then she really does so with tears dripping down.

After a long time, she closes her eyes and says word by word, "Brian Si, you will regret it."
