So, it turns out I was wrong. Which, in all honesty, wasn't that big of a surprise to me. I thought, “hey it's simple. I'm on a cliff with a ledge looking down. How hard would it be to find a vantage point to get a decent look around the area?” Well, logic and everything humans understand about how the universe works is wrong. It's so wrong in fact I'm connected to Dudley on a level unheard of, as well as sitting on a cliff connected to cave with nothing else attached to it. Yep, you heard me right. Nothing is attached to this god damn ledge other than a cave that goes nowhere.
I know this because I spent the last three or so hours looking through the cave for a way down or up, only to come to the conclusion it's a dead end. Now I'm here asking myself how in the hell did I manage to get stuck on a floating cave/cliff ledge? Suffice it to say, I'm having a bad day. This is the point where someone would point out the fact I'm still alive, or how this future isn't set in stone, or some other nonsense, but I'm not that kind of person.
I'm the kind of person who sees the cup as half empty and expects the worst to happen, which it often does. How can I see anything hopeful about my situation? Lost in a world that is supposed to be my home but is so foreign to me it's alien. Literally stuck in the middle of who knows where, floating on something that makes my head hurt just thinking about it. This isn't even taking into consideration the lack of supplies, not only for Dudley, but myself as well. In the four or so hours I've managed to stay alive, the only useful thing I've observed is my connection with my puppy.

I mean, I could sit here and continue to talk about the fact I'm pretty much boned, or how Dudley is an adorable little brown boxer because yes, I realized what breed of dog he is when I took the time to calm down some. At this point, the only thing I haven't covered about my immediate situation is the slight pull I feel coming from what I assume is the ground. Does it even matter? The only way I see for me to get down is to somehow change my spawn location to the ground.
Countless deaths have told me it takes more than dying to change my spawn location, so jumping to my death clearly isn't going to cut it. I can't find anything interesting on the cliff or inside the cave to help me figure anything out, and I was told exactly nothing in terms of how my power works. If I had to guess, I respawn based on how I die and what killed me. Again, this is just a guess and not even a good one at that. Looks like I broke a death cycle only to get stuck in a different one.
- You died.
- Oh look at mister crybaby, sitting here crying about his situation. Well good news for you! I've managed to fix your little problem.
- Never say I didn't do anything for you, and I swear to all that is holy and everything in between if you bitch about my solution I'll make sure you end up regretting it.
- So as they say where I come from, Good Luck Traveler because you're going to need it.
- Hehe, have fun jackass! I'm sure you're going to enjoy this next part XD
