Narrator's POV
"Hmm, There many accidents that happened all over the city, arson in the north, the Ridge wall collapsed, and the most unexpectedly, A group of bandits appeared in the middle of the bustling street of Azara."
Arthisha reads the paper, playing with her fiery red hair.
"And what's this?"
She rolls the paper, placing it to the side.
"All the bandits, they said that's they after one person, under by "his" order."
She increases her voice for each word she said, displaying her frustration.
"What happened to Eion's Inquiry unit?"
The room temperature drop, chilling filled in the air.
"Y-Your Majesty, the bandit has a seal on their memories, preventing us from undercover the truth."
The man in the red coat speaks, trembling with uncertainties.
"With our phyco magic, we should be able to penetrate the seal, but the seal makes the subject faint upon gaining access."
"It's impossible to read the mind with the subject unconscious, your majesty!"
He finishes, leaving a room for a brief silence.
"Is that so. So this is no ordinary matter, a serious matter."
"This many has happened just a week before the Ja'habar. Things must settle quickly."
She orders, standing from the luxurious chair.
"Increase the surveillance by three folds, and hidden the Ak'nar among the crowds in each city."
"A-Ak'nar"
The crowd gathered inside the room gasped, surprised by her decision.
Meanwhile, inside the Hortus aestas, located within the Aestas palace, a man and a boy are having tea, talking.
"Due to some circumstances, we shall depart sooner, meaning we'll miss the Ja'habar, your highness."
Dino said with an apologetic face, closing his eyes while presenting the prince with a sincere smile.
"What a shame, I could use some sightseeing around Eion during the cleaning of the canal."
Edlic sighs, taking a sip on the hot brew.
"It's truly a shame, your highness."
Dino agreed.
"It's your first time outside, yet such an unexpected event happened."
"The core of this adventure, the Ja'habar. If I could do something so that you will have the chance to witness the Ja'habar."
"I will not make any compromise."
Edlic listens to Dino while looking at his reflection on the drink.
A pale skin, striking golden blonde hair, and remarkable emerald green eyes resemble the queen of Eskarnda, his mother.

" Put that aside and now to diplomatic topic."
Dino changes his expression to be more relaxed.
"There's a good new, your highness. There's an upcoming this evening!"
"Hmm, what is it?"
Edlic's ear perks, lean an inch closer to Dino.
"The queen invited us to attend the Ret'a. To put it simply, she's going to visit her clan, paying her respect to the founder."
Edlic places his finger under his chin, thinking about what's Dino said.
"This evening, right?"
A grin appears on his face.
"Why we have to go to that grim place, mother?'
The princess said in annoyance.
"Curb your stubbornness, brat."
Dressing the red dress, her shoulders covered by a luxurious yellow cape, and adorning the red crown made of crystals, showing her authority as the queen.
"Ishar, take this kid, and dress her up properly, do not have any mercy."
Said the queen, glancing sideways to the red hair princess.
Then, the old lady in waiting escorting the princess out of the room.
"Sol virgam Dei."
Arthisha chants, placing her hand on her chest, over her heart.
Every ornament, resonating with magical power, shining yellow.
After a brief moment, the light fades.
"Hah, still, I couldn't handle the authorities of the Solis."
She sighs, looking at her trembling hand.
She walks toward the door, twisting the knob and opening it.
The sea of man in golden armor cover by a red cape, standing straight.
Each of the soldiers adorns the chrome badge, shaped of a fire-breathing four-wings dragon, its left hand holding a staff, while the other holding the sword, and on its head adorning the crown.
The queen walks through the crowd, stepping gracefully.
Due to recent occurrences around the Eion just about the time for two important traditions, the Ja'habar and the Ret'a, she decides to cut the wait and proceed to the Ret'a before its usual schedule.
She decides to go to the Arcad in the evening. Reaching the Cykola will take half an hour, but from there, It'll take over a day and a half to travel to Arcad.
Traveling there will be dangerous. Beyond the Cykola is a barren wasteland filled with dried coral and rotten woods. It's a place crawling with beasts and exotic creatures.
Most of the soldiers wield the magic imbued weapons, created especially to kill a magical beast, a beast capable of utilizing the magic.

She reaches the giant gate that lies at the end of the large hall, opening itself for her.
On the other side, a group of four-teen men standing beside the Dune strider.
"Greeting evening, queen Arthisha."
The viscount steps forward, greeting her with the utmost respect.
"We sorry to trouble you, your majesty."
"We sincerely glad to be a part of the Ret'a, your majesty."
Arthisha chuckles, covering her mouth with her hand.
"It's okay, diplomat Dino."
"Instead, we, as Eionian, glad that the second prince interested in the Ret'a."
"And this is the most I can do to make up for the absence of Ja'habar. I'm sincerely expressing my sorry to you and the second prince."
"But, in the meantime, we do our best to bring forth the tradition."
Ending her sentence, the viscount thanks her for her hospitality.
Then the two enter the magnificent carriage.
Inside, they met with the second prince, sitting elegantly while looking outside from the window.
Noticing their presence, the prince turns his attention toward the two.
"Greeting, your majesty, the queen of Eion."
Said the prince, greeting Arthisha.
"I gladly accept your greeting, second prince."
She says with a smile, sitting opposite from the prince and the viscount.
"Well, the princess will be a "little" late due to her having inconveniences in her wardrobe."
Shadow looms over her face for a slight moment before fading away.
"Well, let me tell you two about the Ret'a. Would you two like to listen?"
Then, the three chat together, talking about the Ret'a and places beyond the Cykola.
"Sorry to interrupt, your majesty, your highness. The princess is ready."
Ishar knocks on the carriage's door four times, announcing the princess's arrival.
Then the door opens, revealing the girl dressed in white with orange laces tying behind her back and on her braided red hair.
She does not adorn any tiara or wear any ornament. It's a formal occasion, and she needs to be seen as a polite child, portraying her innocent image.
In the corner, Edlic struggles to holds his laugher and let chuckles escape his mouth.
She glares at the blonde prince.
Dayne couldn't say anything in the presence of her mother. She could only resist and refrain herself.
"Your majesty, I see that there are many soldiers are inside the hall. How can they travel to Aracad without any Dune strider?"
Viscount Dino asks the queen.
She smiles, looking at her daughter, gesturing her to sits beside her.
"Well, they do not need to ride or march on foot. They'll be teleport there beforehand to the Cykola."
"Then the commander will issue the command for them to march outside the Cykola ahead to the Arcad, clearing the path for us."
"On the way, some of them will be standby by along the way, waiting to join back to the escorting caravan."
The viscount look immerses in the queen's soothing voice, listening to her explanation.
"Let's journey begin. Shall we?"
Arthisha snaps her finger. the floor shines as the transparent golden-block materializes outside the Aestas palace, forming a Scera leading outside the dome."
"Hya!"
Eskardian soldier commands his Dune strider to start moving.
The caravan is leaving the Aestas palace and to the Cykola in the south of Eion.
In the evening, a golden Scera path shines, lighting the street below in golden.
Many children look up onto the sky above, wondering about their fantasy, dreaming about the legend.
Stride elegantly among the cloud, leading the majestic wagon, scared ruler depart.

8 216The Cyclical Nature of Time
A girl’s life ends unexpectedly early, or so it would seem. Instead of eternal nothingness, she wakes up in an empty valley with no clue how she got there. Taking her predicament in stride, she sets out to do something about it. Unfortunately for her, the first couple of people she meets aren’t much help. They claim they haven’t heard of electricity and dress as if they were on a break from their job at a Viking-themed amusement park. MC is a somewhat normal girl. She's pragmatic and not very angsty. The story is tagged with anti-hero, but to be clear, she is not a villain. She does good if she can, she just isn't morally motivated to do so. The story starts out smelling of fantasy but will eventually shift towards sci-fi. It contains some supernatural elements and has a strong lead, but it is not your usual power trip. Expect a story that takes its time, but not to the point where entire chapters are spent on mindless chit-chat. I’m not into that. This is my first serious attempt at writing and I've learnt a lot writing this. Unfortunately, that shows. Chapter 1-10 is slow and rather pointless. Things get better, but it is not until chapter 25 or so that I began understanding how to structure chapters and to make them support the larger story. I publish about 3000 words a week (every sunday) but I write about 10000 words a week. Sticking to that pace, which is easy, the last chapter will be out by July.
