- The end neither justifies nor does not justify the end; none dared to know why...
"H-hey... y'all hearing that..?"
Everyone is now slowly being overwhelmed by their panic and fear, and everyone slowly loses their hope that Lucien will make it out alive. Some cried in grief, some wanted to give up and get themselves killed by the humanoid. The fight between Lucien and the humanoid is about to reach its 3-hour mark. Growls of the humanoid reverberated around the academy. Echoes of slashes can be heard, and that made everyone terrified.
Suddenly, a portal frame opened inside the force field Fate originally cast. Everyone ran away from it, assuming that it was the humanoid going for its snack to satisfy its insatiable hunger.
"EVERYONE!! If something emerges from that portal, FIGHT FOR YOUR LIVES!!" Fate shouted.
Everyone grabbed anything they can use. Bags, books, a piece of wood detached from a broken chair, everything. Some relied on magic, and some relied on their swordsmanship. Fate hurriedly rushed to his seat to grab the sickle his father gave him.
Suddenly, the portal revealed the student Lucien saved from his demise. He laid down the ground helpless, with his left leg missing.
Fate was about to throw his sickle, aiming for the student, but the educator stopped him. It was not the humanoid, but rather a helpless student that emerged from nothing. Everyone knew the student that emerged from the portal. The student is well known inside the academy since he is the son of an Aristocratic Councilor.
(Aristocratic Councilor - the highest-ranking officials of the Teran Government that establishes every rule, may it be on public law or the academy law).
The helpless student cried out loud because of agonizing pain caused by his cut-off leg, let alone his right leg was crushed by rubble. If it weren't for Lucien, the only thing that the student can do is to crawl and say his thoughts and prayers hoping that the level four humanoid won't consume his innards and eat him alive.

Some students provided support and made him a stretcher. Some students also cast a healing spell that temporarily relieved the pain he's feeling.
The helpless student needs to eat the fruit Lucien gave her, or else he will continuously lose blood and die. He took bite after bite after bite, and the student didn't stop eating despite his mouth being full. He gulped every single bit of the fruit and he slowly regained health. His limbs are slowly being restored, just like Lucien promised him. The student is now already in one piece.
"Lucien... safe..." The helpless student mumbled. "Humanoid... suffer..."
"W-what? Wait who are you anyway?? Why are you known in this academy??" Fate asked. "And what the heck did you just eat??"
"Name... Kisei Azumaora..." The student answered. Fate finally realized who he was talking to.
The student's name turned out to be Kisei Azumaora, the only student with a last name inside the academy. His identity is well known inside the academy since he can accurately 'see' things despite being blind. He knows where is he, what are you doing, and much more. He's also known for his very strong sense of awareness of his surroundings. Kisei can detect someone as far as one kilometer away. He is also the youngest student inside the academy.
"Lucien, safe? What do you mean?"
"He can barely speak any words, Fate," the educator told Fate. "We have known Kisei Azumaora's way of communicating and we have no trouble comprehending what he's saying. Even if he spoke in a full sentence, he stutters a lot that one cannot even fully understand. You'll get the hang of it sooner."
Everyone felt a surge of relief as Kisei mentioned that Lucien is safe. The fear and terror that everyone felt were finally overwhelmed by joy and victory. But they cannot celebrate yet as the sun is already setting.

Lucien finally lost her sanity and became another Lucien we don't know. The humanoid felt tired and became exhausted, unable to fight back. The humanoid finally gave up on tactics and strategy, relying on recklessness. But this made Lucien even crazier. Although already worn out, the humanoid became faster. Lucien on the other hand continued to toy on the Humanoid. It's as if Lucien doesn't wanna kill the humanoid.
"I really don't wanna kill you! I want you as my pet! NOOOOO!! I DON'T WANNA KILL YOU!!"
Contrary to what she just said, Lucien used a magic spell that surrounds her target with up to eight small portals. The portal surrounded the humanoid and in a few seconds, hands appeared from the portal.
It pulled every single limb of the humanoid. It growled so loud that it cracked the walls of the classroom they were in.
The hands disappeared along with the portals, and another portal has surrounded the humanoid. Just like what happened earlier, hands appeared from the portal. This time, the hands made their way to the humanoid's guts, pulling every single internal organ of the humanoid. The heart, brain, lungs, intestines, and every other organ of the humanoid were pulled away from the humanoid's insides.
Lucien killed the humanoid and the threat it poses inside the academy once and for all, and one could estimate that she did it in the most gruesome way. The humanoid's remains disintegrated into the thin air.
The growls are gone. The academy feels very quiet and calm. Is this the end of the chaos and havoc the humanoid caused? Students who made it out alive came out from their classrooms one by one. The threat has been eliminated. The academy is back in its peaceful state, and everyone can run for their lives now.
Everyone rushed to the main hall and ran outside the academy for safety. The educators gathered every student outside. The educators went inside the academy to check if some students were left inside. The only students they saw are those who met their tragic doom. Up to forty-seven students were found dead. Guts of students were found hanging from their bodies. Some are beheaded, some have their limbs completely missing, and some had their bodies mutilated so bad you cannot recognize them.
The incident was reported immediately to the Teran government and it spread so quickly. Parents of the students suddenly rushed to the Academy of Tera and made a commotion outside. Some parents have their sons and daughters safe and sound, but some parents were completely left with grief and pain as their children died in vain. The academy cannot do anything about it either. They tried to pay the parents of the dead students for the loss of their children but they didn't buy it. Money cannot bring back one's already dead.
The commotion suddenly ended, and the revolting parents finally calmed down. The Aristocratic Councilors and the revolting parents made a deal that will finally make everything fair:
The Juvenile's Pledge program.
***
One week has already passed after the level four humanoid incident. Everything seems back to normal, although most of the students experienced traumatic nightmares after the incident. The students really don't have a choice but to go inside the academy since it is a mandatory act.
...
"Attention to all students! Attention to all students! The council proposed a meeting for every student! Everyone must come to the conference circle! I repeat, everyone must come to the conference circle! Anyone who'll refuse will be working in the labor camp for sixty years!"

A guidebook designed for alchemists of every tier to help refine their craft and provide direction. Formed of countless recipes and techniques, developed over the ages by the collective knowledge of our study, this is a definite supplement material for any aspiring alchemist. This discusses not only the recipe itself, giving you instructions for each one, but directs you to things not to do in the recipe. It isn’t uncommon for starting alchemists to unknowingly make a small change, and before they know it… BOOM! For a relatively minor price you too purchase this guidebook and start working towards building up a proper base of knowledge in alchemy. Even those with considerable ability may learn a thing or two from this! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is purely a guidebook for alchemy in a magical world, and as such contains no story elements. The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. I'm more than happy to write up any alchemical ideas you've ever had, totally not using this as an excuse to reduce my creative thinking hours... Just PM the idea or post it as a comment in any chapter, with a bit of balancing there's pretty much no idea that can't be done! Hiatus while I focus on shorter stories for competitions

Son of Thunder
Right, I really suck at this synopsis crap. The story follows Taran as he grabs fate by the short hairs and makes his own destiny. Seizing a power that is not his by birth, he uses it to protect those he cares about. There will be magic, monsters and most likely some sex. (This is my first story here, give me some tips and pointers. My grammar may also not be up to snuff. As for a release schedule, nothing set in stone. Though I will try once ever week or two. Length of the chapters will vary. Mature 18+ Sex, violence, gore, strong language)(Holy shit, the old synopsis had some glaring errors.)
