Fuck! Where does this pipsqueak get all this energy from?

“Oy! You idiot! Wait for me!”

We had been running around for about 6 hours now. 6 hours, not one, not two but SIX. As if that wasn't enough, I was in a weak body that didn't look like it exercised at all.

“Hahaha! It's been 2 years since i came out to the real world lord Benza so I am kinda excited. Buuut….” Theodore looked at me from top to bottom “ don't you think you are kind of toooooo useless without your powers?”

AAAAARGGGHHH!! why was I with this fool?! He didn't even know how to control his mouth!

“Just shut up and walk. Don't run around the whole goddamned place like my aunts, when they are going to shop mortal things.”

Seeing this idiot reminds me of my aunts that go- 'Kyaaa! Kyaaa!’ over silly mortal things and get swindled all the time. Who the fuck applies colours on their faces?! Only my silly aunts do.

Anyway getting back onto topic, we haven't even found a shred of the demigod’s appearance until now. According to Theodore this demigod had a lot of divine blood in it and it was supposed to be a half human. Unfortunately Brook’s analysis isn't always right. The demigod might be something different entirely.

“Ohhhh! Lord please wait for me I need to go to this place.”

“Oy wait!”

Theodore who was just walking around with me had vanished.

“Fuck…. Not again…..”

Everytime that pipsqueak saw something he wanted, he would go ahead and leave me behind. Apparently it was because I was too slow. 😭

With the fairly large backpack around my back I started walking around aimlessly again.

To find someone we needed a plan so we decided to make one. The demigod lived somewhere around 200 km radius of the place we got transported to.

The plan was to buy a map first but unfortunately Brook had conned us by not giving us any money. So I just promised the shop owner to give him the world’s best map after I got my powers back, unfortunately this time there was no crowd to help me and the shop owner was an athlete so I had to give up on my pride and let Theodore carry me.

Of course I didn't let him princess carry me! He just carried me on his back although it was kinda tough. Guess I saved some of my pride there.

Next thing was to walk straight till we reached about 100 km in radius from the centre and start walking in a circle. Of course this great plan was my own 😤. Since we have the demigod search tool that has a search radius of 50 km, 'it’ should be easy enough to find it.

We had already walked, half jogged and ran for 30 km. The slow pace was partly because of my weak body. Fuck!

As I was walking down the road with my own thoughts Theodore came back.

“Yo Lord! I got my cards but I had to rob again cos I didn't have the money!”

Every time this brat left me alone and ran around on his own he came back with cards…… seriously, cards. Something about pokimeow? What the heck is that anyway?

“You mixing Lord and other incomprehensible words is too tough to understand, just use normal words.”

“Okey-dokey.”

We started walking again. Grrrrr~ . The sound of a sin, gluttony.

“I think my body says it's hungry Theodore.”

“Ummm.. mine too Lord. I think we should get some food for ourselves but unfortunately we don't have any cash.”

“Hehehehe~~”

I looked towards Theodore with a strange light in my eyes.

“Lord?... You look kinda creepy right now.”

“Yes! The days I spent as a bag lifter for my aunties payed off after all. At Least I know how to find good restaurants. What are they? Five-star or something?”

“Uhhhh… that's good and all but Lord why are we standing behind a wall like this so suspiciously? Moreover why am I here?!”

I looked towards Theodore and explained my plan to him.

“Lord… I have a bad premonition about this. I don't think we should do this.”

I rolled my eyes at him. What a coward.

“Don't you want to eat delicious food?”

Theodore touched his stomach with his hand.

“I do…”

“Then just do as I say! What are you acting all girly for!”

He put both his fists in the air and nodded his head.

“O-ok, I trust you!”

“Good boy! Now go inside and just do as I say!”

He nodded his head again before replying- “ok!”

Theodore walked towards the 10 storey tall building and looked up towards it. Whether i starve today or not is all on Theodore!

Theodore-

The Lord had told me a plan about having some good food but honestly I didn't like it. I had already stolen so much today! Surely just some food wouldn't make me feel guilty right?

I looked up and saw the words- 'Skylight’ being displayed with neon lights.

Gulp~

Let's do it!

I walked in and tried to push the doors but they opened on their own. I wasn't used to coming to places like these.

I walked to a free table and sat down as nicely as i could. A waiter walked up to me soon after.

He smiled at me before bending down and asking me politely-

“What do you need sir? Are your parents coming?”

“Y-ye-yes! The-they will be here soon. They told me to order the first ten things on the menu of non-vegetarian items! And they also told me to order red wine!”

“Hahaha! I see…. Well then which red wine did they tell you to order?”

“Umm...umm, the wildhaven! Yes the wildhaven red wine!”

“I see… please wait for a moment.”

After that small chat the waiter walked away and my whole back was drenched with sweat.

Waaah! Why am I doing this! This is so nerve racking! Sorry everyone!

Fifteen minutes had passed and the waiter finally walked up to me again.

“Sir everything is ready, please press this button once you're parents arrive.”

“Oh! S-so quickly? That’s- that's good! But I called my mom's and dad and they said they’d be here only 10 minutes later and I am feeling hungry right now, so….”

“Hahaha…. It's alright sir, you don't need to feel so nervous talking with me, we’ll serve the food.”

Woooooh~ I let out a breath of relief. Fortunately I was wearing the only pair of good clothes I had brought along and I had succeeded for the most part. Now only the last and the most tough part remained.

The waiters kept on coming and placing things on my table.

I sat on the table for a while and remembered what the lord told me- in every big restaurant there will be a white cloth over which the food is kept, you just have to tie it up and make sure the food remains straight and run out of there.

Tung! Tung! Tung! Kring!

I quickly tied the white cloth with my shaking hands while making sure the food wouldn't fall I dashed out of the store while hearing shocked gasps and shouts like- “what's he doing?!” , “catch him!” Excetra. I’m sorry everyone!

When I ran outside the lord was already waiting for me so I ran along with his pace which was pretty slow.

Benza-

Well my student has got some food, but the food seemed to be spilling out. Oh well, most of it is fried items.

After running around with my slow pace I felt very tired.

Huff puff!

What kind of crazy stamina does this guy have anyway!

We ran around for a long time and when I mean long I mean suuuper long. We finally lost the waiters who were following us and the sounds of motorbikes and cars following us. They couldn't enter the small alleys anyway.

Haaaah! We both were breathing in large amounts of air and our chest fell up and down again and again.

I leaned my back against the wall and sat down and so did Theodore. We looked at each other.

“Ha..haha...hahaha!”

Both of us started laughing loudly! That was most enjoyable moment in my life since I entered this idiotic body!

Theodore recovered earlier than me but it took a long time for me to return back to normal.

“The food is a mess!” Theodore said worryingly.

“Don't worry, it's eatable!”

We spread the white cloth on the ground which was now dyed with different colours because of the food colour and started digging into the food soon after.

15 minutes later-

Burp~ Burp~

“Even though it was mixed, it tasted pretty good!”

“Yeah! But I can't imagine a God would do things like these.”

“Oh I've done worse things than these. You know this one time, my dad was gifting a cow to my stepmother. It was said that the cow would be so tasty after eating it that even a woman would not mind her image and dig into it like a starving old man!

Of course that old hag wouldn't want that but she could just eat the delicious cow alone without letting anyone see her, but before my dad could give it to her, I stole it and ate it alone by myself and boy was it tasty! The faces of my dad and stepmother were so worth it!”

Theodore fell silent for a while..”couldn't they just find another cow?”

“Of course they couldn’t, that cow appears only once in 50,000 years.”

“Wooow that was…. savage.”

“Yeah…. I don't know what that is but it sounds cool.”

Just as we were talking leisurely and playing around a sound started coming in from the search tool.

Beep~ Beep~

Both of us looked at each other again.

““ We found the demigod!!””

“Hell yeah!”

Theodore just had to say something to ruin the mood.

“What's that supposed to mean?”

“Well… it's just something you say when you accomplished something?”

“Fuck that! Let's just run towards the demigod.”

“Yeah!”

We ran as fast as I could but we were very slow of course.

After some time we found out that we couldn't chase the demigod anymore. It was running faster than Theodore!

“Lord I think you should just climb onto my back!”

“Fuck! I am not doing that anymore!”

“ But lord, what about the mission.”

Brook-

After I drank my coffee I felt much better but it still didn't solve the unrest in my heart. Gaya was asking me to protect her child? She is a God above the main gods! I heard she didn't have any descendants. But suddenly a direct descendant pops out of nowhere?

There was something wrong here but it was not up to me to sort that out. I was just asked to treat the child properly, this isn't something a puny character like me could solve.

Just thinking of that woman can send chills down anyone's spine. If she wanted to destroy this place and kill me, it would be as easy as flicking her wrist.

“Marsh, call Alex, Justin and Beatrix over ASAP.”

I rubbed the space between my brows as hard as I could but the headache still continued. Who was Gaya’s child? There was no one in the palace, it couldn't be Theodore, it wasn't Benza. The only possibility was the new kid with high amount of divine energy that was sensed by the energy orb.

“Looks like i made a mistake this time.”

“It isn't your fault sir, I'll go right away and be back with those three.”

Marsh left as quickly as the wind and came back with the three in about five seconds.

“Woah!” “Fuck!” “Aaaah!”

Alex, the man with long hair and red eyes, the son of a weak dragon and god of the underworld’s descendent. They were his grandparents so he has quite a lot of divine and dragon blood. His almost humanoid appearance was because his mother was a human. He was also the one who stood up in the dinner hall to fight with Benza. He is a dragod and the most powerful demigod at the palace. He's got a fiery temper.

Justin, the man with green eyes and ruffled hair. A prince to all the females at the palace. His grandfather is the God of all water and oceans. with a sword tied to his back, don’t underestimate him because of his pretty boy appearance, he might slice you into two before you know it.

Beatrix, the woman with glasses and the only girl who is a direct descendant of a God at the palace. Daughter of strategy, wisdom and intelligence. Although she might not be as powerful as the other two she has the brain to match up to them and it isn't like she can't pack a punch.

Beatrix looked towards Alex and Justin before asking. “What are you guys doing here?”

“Well, that's what we want to know.”

Beatrix looked at me with her eyes which were full of wisdom beyond her age.

“Headmaster, would you mind explaining the cause for such a sudden summon?”

I looked at them seriously-

“I need you to do something for me and we cannot afford to mess this up……...”

“You know that I am just doing this because we need to catch the demigod right? It's not because I am tired or anything, I am just a little slower than you!”

“Yes lord I know! You already told this to me about 50 times now!”

The wind was blowing hard against my face and I had to shout to speak.

I letting my pride down had to ride on Theodore’s back. Even though he was so small, he was much powerful and faster than your average adult. Even with the stupidly large backpack on my back the ride was kind of stable.

“We're closing in Theodore!”

“Yes I know! Good thing we bought(robbed) the map or we wouldn't be able to match the demigod’s speed.”

We were finally about to catch that damned demigod after 2 hrs of following after it!

We took a turn to the right and saw a silhouette flash by us.

Fuck! It was the demigod!

Just as we were about to chase after it again we heard an eerily dangerous voice.

“Huhuhaha~ just as I thought one demigod wasn't enough for my evolution, another demigod shows up! Who knew that my luck would be so good today! Huhuhuhahaha!”
