《Fall For Me》Chapter 2: I Need A Vacation

At the Starwood Hotel building where the Young Alchemist meeting was being held, Jun's sister Xing Feng was yelling at her subordinate Ting Mei, and Xu Hong.
"Have you found him yet?" Feng shouts at Ting Mei and Xu Hong.
"Not yet boss," Mei answers. "I'll try calling Bu Fan and see if he knows where boss Jun is at."
"I'll try calling all his favorite restaurants, gyms, cultivation spots and hangout spots," Xu hong added.
"Hurry, hurry times almost up," Feng shouts and beckon another subordinate towards her. "You go and order another 50 Nascent cultivators and search the city for him. Call in, when you find him."
"Where the hell could he be?" She mutters to herself.
Mei and Hong both looked up when they were calling, and saw Jun strolling in nonchalantly.
"Boss Feng," they both cried out.
Feng sees the direction that their eyes were directed towards and turns around, seeing Jun.
"Brother! You're here!" She shouted excitedly but Jun saw something different. It was the calm before the storm.
"How could you keep the judges' waiting? We couldn't find you anywhere." She nags.
Out of nowhere Jun saw a slap to his head coming in. He quickly dodges it by ducking down.
"Boss Jun, Boss Feng we better hurry there's only another 30 minutes left before the judging round," Mei reminded them.
"Yeah, lets go," Mei agrees.
"Wait a minute," Jun said. "Let me ask you something."
The three looks at Jun in confusion.
"You three have been working and running this company for four to five years now and you two have worked in the pill industry for over 10 years now so you should know better than me what alchemy means to an alchemist and the market."
The three looks at each other and shrugs in confusion. They all thought to themselves isn't it to differentiate themselves from the market and make money for cultivation?
"So... As elites in the pill market we spent a whole year studying, and dissecting other people pills, just to improve our own by a measly 2 to 3 percent in effects. Then we show it off like its a miraculously break through in this competition that we dominated for 4 years now. What is the meaning in all this?" Jun asks mockingly. Jun felt like he has been stagnant in his pill studies for the last year.
The three smiles awkwardly.
"It doesn't matter. The time limit is almost ending. You should get going. We can discuss this later," Mei responded.
Jun smirks but didn't argue with her.
Inside the grand hall sat three powerhouse Alchemist in the industry. They are rank 4 Pill kings.

"You think that young alchemist Jun will make it?" an elderly sage asks?
"Mang even if he does make it now. Do you believe that a mere rank 2 pill king can make those 3 pills in 30 minutes? Even a rank 3 pill king would have trouble," another Alchemist replies. His eyes sharp like a sword, and looks to be in his 50s.
"Dao La Others might not, but he might be able too. A 16 year old rank 2 pill king that manage to dominate 63% of the market in Ziyou city. That is not an easy accomplishment even for us rank 4 pill kings." A sharp elderly woman's voice replies.
"You are all thinking too much. If he had the capabilities he would long have been a rank 3 pill king never mind rank 2," the alchemist known as Dao La replies.
"Hahaha Bing Xia is right. For a 16 year old to enter the market 4 years ago and eclipse 63% of Ziyou City's market it is not an accomplishable feat by anyone. When I was his age I just passed my rank 1 exam never mind getting market shares."
"You're just mad because the creative pills that he came up with took 80% of your muscle strengthening, and healing pill market."
"He might have just been lucky to have found an ancient ruin of a ancient alchemist."
"And successfully come out alive at age 12?" Mang scoffs.
Screech!
The grand door opens up and Jun grandly enters.
"Mr. Xing please follow me this way to your station," an employee instructed.
Jun follows him to his station and there was a list of the pills they want and the minimum effects it must reach.
Blood Rejuvenation Pill: Be able to heal skin wound completely in 1 hour. Light internal injuries in 3 hours.
Physic Empowering Pill: Increase a cultivator's physical strength by 50% for 30 minutes.
Qi Replenish Pill: Replenish 50% of a Nascent Realm Cultivators qi at the first stage.
So basic Jun thought to himself. His inter spacial ring flashes and a cauldron about 4 feet wide and 3 feet tall. In all honesty Jun doesn't need the Cauldron at all to refine these pills but if he was to make pills from thin air, he would be inviting trouble. This is because the technique and flame he would use to do it would cause cities and sects to fight over it.
Jun threw all the ingredients into the cauldron all at once. This caused the three judges to frown in displeasure.
"Che even an idiot knows not to throw in all the ingredients at once," Dao La commented to the other two judge.

"Lets just wait and see what he is doing," laughs judge Xia. Even she is a little skeptical but being a champion 4 years in a row was not due to luck.
Mang stayed quiet and carefully examines Jun's cauldron. To his surprise he notice that he couldn't probe inside.
Inside the cauldron Jun's ice blue flame were cooling down the ingredients while the raging flame outside was melting it down. With the heat and cool method the ingredients refinement rate was exponentially decrease from 1 to 2 hours to a mere 3 to 5 minutes.
After 10 minutes Jun stops the flame and 36 pills came flying out of the Cauldron.
The three judges thought to themselves, "the fuck?"
"I'm done," Jun announces and a referee came over to check the cauldron and take the highest grade pills from each set.
Dao La stands up and announces, "We will now start grading everyone's pills."
They first laid it all out onto the table as their eyes and spirit sense examines the pills. Then they writes down each pill's grade next to their assigned number. Next they brought out a four feet cube with a monitor on top. This is was a pill testing computer. A couple hundred years back they use lightning cats to test the pills because of their quick digestive system. Then an individual name Johan Tesla invent this computer system a hundred years ago. It is a combination of formation, present technology, and collection of data. The room for error from this computer was only a measly 0.001 percent.
As each pills were slide through Pill exam machine the results were displayed on the screen.
Station 1: Blood Rejuvenation Pill: Be able to heal skin wound completely in 47 minutes. Light internal injuries in 2.8 hours.
Physic Empowering Pill: +43% for 20 minutes.
Qi Replenish Pill: Replenish 55% of a Nascent Realm Cultivators qi at the first stage.
This goes on for 20 minutes until it was Jun's turn. The most speculator result out of that was from station 43.
Station 43: Blood Rejuvenation Pill: Be able to heal skin wound completely in 32 minutes. Light internal injuries in 2 hours.
Physic Empowering Pill: +70% for 35 minutes.
Qi Replenish Pill: Replenish 65% of a Nascent Realm Cultivators qi at the first stage.
As Jun's pill goes through and the results comes out the people in the room's jaw drops to the floor.
Station 100: Blood Rejuvenation Pill: Be able to heal skin wound completely in 15 minutes. Light internal injuries in 45 minutes.
Physic Empowering Pill: +100% for 40 minutes.
Qi Replenish Pill: Replenish 110% of a Nascent Realm Cultivators qi at the first stage. May be able to help stage one Nascent Realm Cultivators make a break through to stage 2.
"Are we done?" Jun yawns.
His voice woke up the whole audience.
Dao La wants to yell out you cheated but the results don't lie. Furthermore all three judges focused 90% of their attention on Jun during his refinement process. There was no way for him to cheat.
They began to mentally chat among themselves.
"Bing Xia if you were in his position do you think you can produce the same effects," Mang asks.
"No. The best I can do is about 80 percent of his effects. Dao La what about you?"
"In my best condition it would only be a little bit better than your's."
Bing Xia eyes rolled backward in annoyance. "Lets just announce the winner and get it over with. I am very curious as how he manage to do it."
Dao La stands up again and announces, "winner for this year's Young Alchemist Meet is Xing Jun. Second place goes to the Mang Lan, and third place goes to Bu Fanfan."
A loud round of applause were thundering through the room.
"Xing Jun if you can come up and say a few words and accept your prize."
Jun smiles and walks up onto the stage before the microphone. His sister and her subordinates also followed up. Jun's eyes exams across the crowd.
"Hello fellow alchemist. I would like to ask you one question... What is alchemy?" His eyes shifting among the crowd challenging them. "Can you?" He pointed. "Or you answer it?"
"No one?" Jun asks mockingly. "Okay, I'll answer it for you then. Alchemy is the embodiment of a alchemist. Their creativity, ideals, sweat, motivation, and curiosity. Only with all that can we improve and break through those shackles. Only then can our buyers appreciate our creations. Thereby valuing it for pill itself. What I am trying to say is... That these pills that I created and the ones in the past year were not... my idealistic pill creations. In my eyes they are trash."
Are you fucking kidding me? the audience and judge thought to themselves. If the pills you created are trash, then what in abominations have we been doing for the last 20 to 50 years. F*ck your *** and whole 8 f*cking generation.
"So, starting today, I have decided to stop creating pills. Until I rediscover my passion and my reason these creations. Basically I need a vacation!" Jun smiles playfully. "Thank you!" Then he speed walks down from the podium.
