《Crossing Over: Chronicles of DxD》Meeting With Hunters

A few hours has passed.
I ultimately came to my destination, exactly eight stations away. Time was about noon now, stepping off the train, the thing I thought of wasn't that this place reminded me of Kuoh. No, I became enthusiastic at the thought of getting my own peerage. Coming here will bring me closer to my goal.
From my knowledge of this world, especially the new devil faction. Those that can get their own peerage are 'high class devil' or above. What is a peerage? In simple terms it's a team, a team consisting of at most fifteen subordinates that are subservient to a master. The desire to become a master to a peerage can only be met by meeting the minimum condition. That is to be a high class devil.
By becoming a master can only be either good fortune or misfortune for the servants. The unfortunate ones don't become servants, rather, they become slaves. Sometimes they are turned into mindless beings by some form of corruption and such. I'm very well aware of one such being. Well, he'll meet his demise in the near future.
My goal is to become a master, a good one. The idea to be a bad one proves no benefits. I believe I've fulfilled the condition to become a master. Playing the part of a devil is easy, I can just impersonate one. and thanks to Necroussary Abyss I should have enough demonic power to pass as a high class devil.
The only problem now is get a senior devil to vouch for my rank up.
That's why I've left Kuoh to come here. If I remember correctly, the devil I seek has many hideouts in the human world and one of those hideouts should here in this town.
S.Sesa: ...And that why we came to see the game designer.
Ddraig: Devils making games? How the times have changed. I still remember the time when devils were an evil bunch. Now they making games and having tea party's.

S.Sesa: HAHAHA! Right on, the world has changed..... This is a world where God and Satan have died.
Ddraig : WHAT? When did God die? At the war of the three factions?
S.Sesa: You don't know?
Sesa: It's probably because the red one and the white one got sealed in sacred gears. They wouldn't know about it since it's the biggest secret of the three factions. Well the biggest secret that only those on the top know.
After I step off the train and onto the platform I swiftly maneuver to a spot that won't leave me trapped in the crowd. Finding a place and standing against the wall, the coldness at my back is seeping through the denim jacket. Does it bother me? No, my body isn't fragile.
My mind is drawn to the clothes that I'm currently wearing. Denim jeans, White t-shirt and a denim jacket. I must say, 'I look pretty sweet in this get up.'
Getting back on track, I see many people moving in one direction. Many are taking the stairs going up. 'That must be the exit', I guess. Putting my hands in my pocket I pull out my phone. Lighting up the screen, I see that the page I was looking at this morning is still present. The address as well as the game designer's profile is present also.
A picture of the game designer is right before my eyes. A young looking man with slick green hair that is combed back, the hair reminded me of the dark green color of a swamp. Even so, the man himself wasn't at all ugly. Under his picture, his name was printed. It read as A. Astaroth.
Scrolling futher down the game he designed was described. It was titled, Craft Hunter Go. Anyways, I skip that and check for the address again.
Ddraig: Is that guy really a devil? I don't see why he would support you as a backer.
Sesa: It's a risky move but I think we'll succeed.

I'm positive that I'll succeed. Walking out towards the stairs I come back to ground level. I pull out my phone out again to use the GPS before moving again.
Following a certain direction and taking into account the similarities as well as differences this town has with Kuoh, I find this place a little more active. While taking quick steps I notice a group pointing the camera's of their phones at me.
I'm not Japanese, so people taking photos of a foreigner is mot at all surprising. I ignore them and carry on passed them...
????: Ugh! Another trash human appeared.
????: You're a trash human as well.
????: Don't rub it in. I was hoping for a feisty little angel to appear but it's really hard to catch 'em all.
????: Yeah, I only slaved one weak-ass youkai.
"Eh!"
'Are they talking about me?'
'Detect' of my cursed gear didn't pick up any malice from the group I passed but they certainly making points about the supernatural.
S.Sesa: I dont think they were wrong about the trash human part, Hahaha!
Ddraig: Hahaha! Agreed.
Shaking my head, I ignore my double and the red dragon. After taking a few steps I completely stop my trek. I just remembered something.
Craft Hunter Go! It's exactly like I've read in the original. When the Gremory team came here they were also met with cameras pointing at them, even their power rankings was being read. Could it be that this group be playing the same game? Looks like I have to turn back to meet them.
"Sorry guys!" I call out, at the same time I make my way back to them. 'They didn't hear me', I thought before again calling. "HEY! CAN I HAVE MOMENT OF YOUR TIME?"
They looked me startled.
Clearly they didn't expect that I would call them, perhaps they were looking down on me a little to much. After all, one of them did call me a trash human.
????: Are you talking to us? Do you need something?
????: We don't have time for this.
S.Sesa: (What you say mutherfucker!)
Ddraig: (Easy now. Starting a fight will get us no where.)
S.Sesa: (You talking from experience.)
Sesa: Yeah! I heard you talking about a game. Are you playing Craft Hunter Go?
????: How-how do you know that game?
????: Are you a hunter to- OW!!!
Sesa: Actually, I know someone who came across it. For some reason I can't be in contact with that person at the moment. That's why I came all the way here.
????: ...
????: ...
After saying a few words, the two guys look at me with a serious expression. Even the guy that was minding his own business lifted his head away from his phone and stared at me with a penetrative glare.
Did they figure out that I'm here for alternative reasons? I didn't ly though. I really do know someone who was told about the game (Issei). And it is true I can't be in contact with him at this time. The words I used aren't lies so they shouldn't suspect me of falsity.
Sesa: Sorry, did something happen? Your stares are not so friendly.
????: What do you know about the game?
Sesa: Huh! Well.... I've never played it. You can say that the game is a bit more than a game. From what I remember, any character stats that it can display on screen may very well be stats of a person in real life.
????: So you do know somewhat. Sorry about that. Brother, you may call me Bradley. My friends here are Tommy and Ryan
Tommy: Yo!
Ryan: Good day.
Bradley: If you haven't been in contact with your friend in a while then he is probably not in this world anymore. Most of us, if not all, are beta testers to Craft Hunter Go but that's not all. We are hunters in real life too. We hunt-
Tommy: Monsters! Real monsters.
Sesa: !?

The beginning chapters are a bit slow, but if you can get past that, there is a chance you'll love it. Happy Reading.
