《Awakening》Spirit

Avren was sitting cross-legged on the bed with his eyes closed. The mysterious energy was surrounding his body.
Suddenly all the energy vanished, returning back to his body. Then he opened his eyes.
The moment he opened his eyes. A small air wave swept across the room from his body.
'The Foundation Realm, huh. According to the information left by senior Dema, Fighter Realm cultivators train their body to be able to absorb the Qi in the surrounding. When they’re actually able to absorb the Qi in their Dantian, that’s when they step into the Warrior Realm. For this reason, the Warrior Realm is the true first step in cultivation. Well, I guess that’s what other cultivators do.’
'To breakthrough from the Warrior Realm to the Foundation Realm, they must start fusing the Qi in their Dantian with their Physical Body. When they reach the peak Foundation Realm, the Qi in their Dantian can’t improve their body anymore. So to advance further, they must condense the Qi in their Dantian into liquid Qi allowing them to step into the Master Realm!’
‘But in my case, I already have this mysterious Qi in my body even when I was in the Fighter Realm. Not to mention, I already have a core in my Dantian, which only Grandmaster Realm Experts have. I can also use spirit sense which is possible only for Spirit Realm cultivators. Sigh... I am abnormal after all.’
While Avren was thinking, he felt that something from his consciousness was calling him. He frowned a little then closed his eyes, entering his consciousness.
When he appeared again, he was in front of the huge Palace. Come to think of it, he never entered that Palace before.
“Welcome back, little punk!” A voice resounded in his mind, startling him.

What? Was there anyone here?
Moreover, calling me little punk? Who's that rude jerk?
Creak!
A moment later, the gate of the Palace opened and a figure walked out from the palace.
Avren looked at the figure and was dumbfounded. A kid? What’s a kid doing here?
But he knewthat high level cultivators can’t be judged by their appearance. That boy looked like 9 or 10 years old, but he maybe an old monster who lived for thousands of years.
The boy looked at Avren up and down and smirked. “Hey little punk, last time you left without entering the Palace! Why didn’t you come back? Did I have to call you?!”
Avren was speechless. What the heck?
“Who are you?” Avren frowned and asked.
Seeing that Avren ignored his words the boy showed an angry expression. He pointed at Avren and shouted: “Little punk! You have no respect for your elders! How dare you ignore my questions?! Do you know who I am?!”
Avren smiled at him and said: “That’s what I just asked.”
The boy was taken a back and didn’t find words to say. He frowned and crossed his arms, appearing to be in deep thought.
This action left Avren puzzled.
“What are you doing?” Avren inquired what he was doing.
“Shut up! I'm trying to think of a response!” The boy replied without even looking at Avren.
Avren didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. That boy didn’t seem like someone who lived for thousands of years. Could it be that he’s really a child?
After a while the boy seemed to give up thinking about a response. He was very upset. He pointed his finger at Avren again and shouted: “Listen here little punk! I am the one who decides when to tell you my identity!”
Avren smiled helplessly. What kind of lame response was that? But nevertheless, the body continued.
“However, I decided to tell you now. Be honoured! This esteemed one is the spirit of the Eternal Destruction Palace, Gertruda Clodovicus! Hehe shocked right? Huh? Why aren’t you kneeling already?!”

Glitch — Alpha [Swedish] [Svenska]
********* For English readers: (Might as well add this information in English to save the lovely souls looking through our works some time) I probably won't translate this work, but I'm working on another translation within YA, if that's something you'd be interested in. This one's horror/thriller, so.. yeah. Maybe sometime in the future. Otilia works at a daycare when a child disappears. Seconds later, the child reappears, like nothing had happened. She thinks she's worked too much, but when disappearences start to happen all around the globe, she and her boyfriend realize that something has gone really, really wrong. When they get an idea about what could be the cause, no matter how unbelievable, they will do everything in their power to get the information to the right people. This was my first-ever-novel and my first gamelit story (though I had no idea that was a thing/genre at the time). This novel contains a lot of violence and blood and can be uncomfortable to read for some people. There is also some violence from, and off-screen violence to, children.
