《Awakening》Rebirth

In the great hall inside the palace.
The red-haired man who was observing Avren saw his body suddenly turn into nothingness. He was shocked and couldn't think for a while.
'sigh...In the end, it's impossible for Eternal and Destruction energies to coexist together in the same body...' He was feeling very sad. But for someone at his stage, he wouldn't lose himself in his grief.
But what he didn't know was that the Mysteries Energy was the one that turned Avren's body into nothingness, not the Eternal and Destruction energies! That means that Avren's body could accommodate both energies without any problem!
'Hm? That's weird. If he's dead why isn't this place collapsing? After all, this place is in his sea of consciousness.' The red-haired man kept thinking.
"Don't tell me... He's still alive?" He muttered slowly while looking at the place where Avren's body turned into nothingness.
.............
In Avren's room.
The room was simple, containing a bed, a cupboard and a desk with a chair.
Suddenly, above the empty bed, the mysterious energy appeared again. This time, it didn't swallow anything but kept revolving around itself until finally forming a small core.
This small core also kept revolving and started emitting that mysterious, invisible energy. This energy started taking the shape of a body.
Bones, blood, muscles, meridians, skin....
Limbs began to form and after 2 hours, a perfect complete body was floating above the bed!
The body floated down slowly until it rested on the bed. It was Avren's body!
..............
Outside the huge palace.
Avren's body appeared again. He was sitting in the same position as before he disappeared. He opened his eyes slowly.
Right now, he was confused.
'What's going on? I remember that my body disappeared into nothingness. How can I be alive?' He was puzzled.

While Avren was thinking...
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
A laughter that shook the entire palace resounding in his sea of consciousness. Avren was shook by the intensity of that laughter and his body trembled a little.
Hearing this laughter, Avren knew that it came from inside the palace.
'That bastard! I begged for my life before but he didn't respond. Now that I passed this crisis, he's laughing?' Avren cursed the owner of that laughter in his mind.
Soon, the huge palace gate started to open and a red-haired young man walked out slowly.
Avren looked at him carefully. In addition to his red hair, his blood red eyes were very terrifying, enough to send weaker cultivators into insanity. As for how strong were those 'weaker' cultivators were, no one knows.
But strangely, Avren wasn't affected by this as he kept staring at the young man.
Seeing this, the red-haired young man was taken a back.
'Impressive. Although I'm not deliberately releasing my aura, it's enough to make the mind of Transcendents collapse. But this kid isn't affected at all?' The red-haired man praised in his mind.
A few meters away from Avren, the red-haired man stopped and smiled at Avren.
"Kid, you're really something. Fusing both Eternal and Destruction energies together and creating something even I can't comprehend. I am afraid you're the first in existence to do that." The red-haired man was very pleased.
Avren has calmed down but he was still cautious. Right now, he could already realize that he's in his own mind. So, who was this red-haired man? And how could he enter his own consciousness? And what was that palace?

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.
