《Every Planet We Reach Is Dead》The Cakas'mirilin

The Tereskish Posh, known as the worm people, are known for their aggressive nature and brutish mentality. They do not speak like others with vocal cords as we do, they need boxes to read their thoughts aloud yet they have the same amount of consciousness as we do.
They are warmongerers but there is room for peace.
The Tereskish Posh, known as the worm people are massive creatures covered miniature brown scales going across their entire bodies. Their neck arches and their face is not visible, where its face should be is a mouth. Their mouth is made up of an array of teeth, they look as if they are thin bristles but each one could easily cut through someone's flesh as if it were scissors to paper. In their mouth is also two protruding tongues that help with decomposing bodies they feast upon. Their legs are like dogs but they are large in size, a tail of a lizard sitting on its backside, smacking against the ground below them if irritated.
Most of the Tereskish Posh wear helmets around their heads to not alarm suspicion or make anyone around them fearful but when they are in battle they do not wear traditional armor nor do they wear the frequented shield generators as other races do. They do not need shield generators, they are similar to the Ultis'Perkoth wherein they have no need for such things. Though the Ultis'Perkoth prefers not to wear shield generators and need it less than the normal race of beings that exist in Andromeda, the Tereskish Posh has skin that can easily reflect the lasers coming from an average laser gun or rifle. Their skin can also reflect swords, Hypreon spears, and even Nulten bows, rending the shields useless for them.
I should correct myself though. Not all of the Tereskish Posh will not use shield generators, only the highest class of Tereskish Posh will wear the shield generators while the lower class will not for it would hurt the lower class's pride if they were to.

The Cakas'mirilin is a race similar to a human's in shape and biology but the Cakas'mirilin is stronger, faster, their eyes are sharper and their ears are longer. They have scales going up the side of their body which can be expanded across their skin as an extra defense. They are strong but ritualistic, stuck in medieval ideologies while their technology is that of the space age.

On the planet Phos'partis, in the Min'at solar system, the princess of the Piolari dynasty in the east of the Mon'par continent, a princess known to be brutish in nature compared to her siblings and maidens around her sits in wait on a balcony during a cold night, their two small asteroid sized moons sitting over them, their blue glow hitting against the rocks below as the ocean crashes against it given it a glistening shine. The princess has long red hair with glowing yellow eyes, scales running across her ears, showing that she is of royalty: Ei'liea-Ren Piolari, they call her Ren. She smiles towards the beautiful view in front of her as a large man with slicked-back blue hair comes into her quarters.
"Why are you up so late?" He asks, resting on the wall near the door, "It's your big day tomorrow."
"It isn't exactly big if I lose all freedom as a Cakas'mirilinian is it?"
"There is a reason they call you barbaric. You have no-"
"I might be a princess but I want true love! I don't want to be sold to the highest bidder like a fucking slave!" She spins around to look at the man. "We aren't the Phrelem, so why is our society like this!?"
"You are a woman Ren..." He scowls, "You comparing us with the Phrelem is unreasonable."
"Might as well, all of you prattling on about marriage, not caring who it might be with! Just as long as their cocks are big enough and they're royalty right!?"
"Ren!"
Her mouth closes forcefully, rage builds up in her face, 'This bastard knows Jeek'liak!?' She thinks to herself, parts of the railing to her balcony is crushed in her hands. Her mouth loosens as the man crosses towards the bed of her room. "You used it...?"
The man looks at her with a worried expression, "You will never be married at this rate. We need strong-"
"What did I say before Ishval!?" She shakes her head violently, "Scratch that! Where did you learn how to use the Jeek'liak!?"

"Your father taught me."
"That's on-..." She cuts herself off. "No!"
"It's final, we are already engaged."
"Get the fuck out of my room!"
Ishval's expression becomes sour, leaving the room. Ren falls to the floor of her balcony, face in her hands repeating the words: I don't want it, I don't want it.

The Gambler's ship manages to reach Phos'partis, keeping in the planet's orbit and waiting for them to contact him through the radio in his ship, adjusting it here and there to finally get the right frequency. A loud crackling overtakes the sounds inside the ship until a voice rings through it, "Who is there?"
The Gambler claps his hands together with a large smile on his face, "I'm a traveler who managed to get stranded in a nearby solar system, can I land on your planet?"
There is a long pause, "You sure know Pe'manok really well?"
"I learned it on the way here."
The radio cracks, "We'll allow you to land, you could even visit the celebration!"
"Celebration?"
"The third princess of our planet is having a public celebration since she is coming of age. She will be able to go across star systems soon enough."
The Gambler waits for the man's excitement to die down, "Can I land?"
"Yes! By the way! The only reason why I mentioned the celebration is that the only landing pad we have available is near there!"
"Alright..."
The Gambler brings his ship into the planet's atmosphere slowly, the map on his armrest directing him where to go. Slowly, slowly, then finally landing. Multiple Cakas'mirilinian's surround the ship, tablets in hand. The Gambler gets out of the ship through his airlock, wearing the helmet, outfit, and all completely cleaned off to not give anyone around a disease. He hops down from the airlock and lands onto the ground, quickly getting back up while keeping his composure, slightly surprised by the Cakas'mirilinian's pointed ears and cat-like eyes. One of the men surrounding it walks to the Gambler, a smile across their face.
"This is a pretty good Yul'merita Parpeh you have there!"
"A what?" A drone appears at the Gambler's shoulder.
"He said, 'ship'." The drone spoke.
"You even have your own Iti'aras."
The drone translates again, "He said artificial intelligence."
The Gambler nods in assurance, "Yep, I do!"
"Where do you hail from?"
The Gambler freezes, "I'm... from Terra...?"
"Then why are you covered in a mask, the air is not toxic here."
"For your own safet-"
The drone cuts the Gambler off, "I have cured you of all diseases a long while ago."
The Gambler nods with a chuckle, taking off his helmet. "Right!" The Gambler breathes in the fresh air of the planet... he is filled with joy. It was as if he had realized what was in front of him, collapsing to the ground in relief, bags sitting under his eyes. Tears begin to well up before holding himself back. He grabs onto the man's arm in front of him and lets his head go limp. "Sorry... I haven't interacted with another living being in... a few years."
The Gambler lets go of the surprised man, embarrassed by their odd interaction.
"I guess, next goal..." The Gambler thinks for a moment, "Who is allowed to the gathering?"
"Whoever has enough money to go, they'll be able to even interact with the third princess themselves."
"How much?"
"Three hundred thousand per'os."
The Gambler turns to the drone, "Can we afford that with what we have?"
"Yes, if you sell the extra materials we have gained and give it to a merchant or a processor, you will be able to gain more than three hundred thousand."
The Gambler nods, "Guess I'll go."

People have always thought that the undead would come from hell - that they would rise from their graves to bring their torments upon the earth. They never thought that they would come from the heavens instead and rain upon the world like divine judgment. Ten years had passed since that day. Evan had thought that he had seen all there is to see. What remained of civilized society couldn't recover. Millions of zombies wandered in every city, and thousands more roam the countryside. Every day was a struggle to survive just as it had always been. He, as well as most of the survivors that remained on earth, had resigned themselves to a life of wandering until their deaths. Their last hope was news of an underground settlement being constructed to the far west, outside the eyes of the wandering and falling undead. But then they encounter a girl who had survived in the middle of a heavily-infested city. She claims that she knows of a way to end the apocalypse once and for all. What should he and his group do?
