Serah opens her eyes and feels the gentle breeze against her skin. She looks up and the sun was shining, filtered through the light touch of clouds in the sky. She was on a hill, untouched by the giant trees around her. As if fated or by the courtesy of the trees, they leaned away, allowing the sunlight to touch her face.

Is this heaven? She asks herself, her eyes slowly fluttering open as awareness fills her mind. What happened? Why am I here? She asks herself, unsure of the situation.

The scenery, though beautiful, was unfamiliar.

Serah tries to think about what she last remembered. I was driving to work? Oh… That’s right… Some asshole crashed into me... Am I so desirable that someone would crash into me just to be a part of my life? Well, good job, asshole. You were a part of it, alright. The last ten fucking seconds of it. She thinks with frustration as she tries to ease her headache with a pressed hand.

She looks around again. Then this is heaven? She thinks, curious of her surroundings.

Suddenly, she hears a deep, primal roar echo into the surroundings. She looks up, wide-eyed and in shock.

Flying in the sky was a green-scaled beast of immense size, it’s large wingspan blotted out the sun for a moment before it flew away, gradually becoming smaller.

Serah continues to stare in shock. Do all dragons go to heaven? She thinks in denial.

She continues to look around and suddenly the large trees began to look a little ominous. The sounds of unknown beasts galloping through the forests and birds of prey as they fluttered into the sky…

Damn, I’m not in Kansas anymore… Serah thinks with some anxiety. I’ve been freakin’ isekai’d… She thinks with creased brows and righteous anger.
