Theo tried to push away from his father's embrace, but both knew he wasn't strong enough.
"Theo, calm down buddy," Matt soothed, "mama will be back soon."
Theo cried harder, and Matt sighed. He couldn't think of what else to do. Matt laid Theo down, which only resulted in him screaming and sobbing, and got Dr.Scott. Matt told the doctor the cause of Theo's meltdown and how he'd tried to calm him. Dr.Scott took the oxygen cannula off and took the long IV cord out of the actual IV and attached a smaller version of it so one could walk around with ease.
"Try carrying him and walk around and see if that'll help." The doctor suggested. Matt nodded. He picked Theo up while supporting his head and once his head was on his shoulders, he wrapped Theo's legs around his chest before standing. He kept a hand on his son's head as he walked around the room. Theo began to choke on his spit, and he coughed loudly. His father patted his back with his other hand.
"Easy, bud," he said, "you're gonna make yourself throw up."
Dr.Scott let Matt know that he had a sedative ready in case the boy couldn't be calmed; however, Matt said it probably wouldn't be needed since he could hear Theo trying to take deeper breaths to calm himself down.
"Ss-sorry, da-a-ad-y-y." The boy hiccuped.
"Shh, it's okay bud," Matt reassured, "you don't have to apologize." Matt continued to walk around with his son until he felt warm breath on his neck.
He looked and saw that Theo had fallen asleep with his thumb in his mouth. His smiled and kissed his son's forehead before placing him back in the bed and helping Dr. Scott reattached the IV medicine and oxygen. Once all was calm, Matt sat and waited for his wife to return, falling asleep himself.

The daily life of a cultivation judge will be true to its name so it will be heavily on the slice of life lane with a bit of action here and there.Meaning we will see the life of Yang Qing when he clocks in and out. Hopefully, it will be one of those novels you read if you need to relax or are in a slacker mood like one of those otakus who listen to the noises of cicadas in the summer famously used in most animes. Desiring to rise to great heights again, even in his new life, he spent the remaining centuries he had researching and studying the strange beings called Dungeons, and devising a spell that would allow him to retain his memories. However, the very act of knowing what is to come can often be enough to alter Destiny. Impressed at the Mage's efforts, an ancient, powerful being, the Creator of Gods, has now chosen him, to become one of the Dungeon Gods of a new world in a new segment of reality. Their directive, to bring life to this new world. Follow him, as he brings forth the knowledge his efforts awarded him, and pits it against his unprepared competitors, in a bid to be the first to create sentient life. This is my first full on story, and is mostly going to be a learning experience for me. It is going to be a story following the life of Arcius as a Dungeon God, with very few POV swaps, if any. If I make any errors, either in spelling or in grammer, please let me know, and I will endevour to correct them ASAP. I was inspired to create this story after reading the Scale Dungeon, by TheSilverGunner, here on RRL. It is a good story, despite having only a few chapter out at the time of writing this. I highly recommend that you read that story if you find this one interesting.

The author, Edward Faust is aware that “This Book” does not really describe what this book is about. We shall pretend that it is a meta artistic choice but the reality is that Mr. Faust is bad at coming up with titles, and since starting This Book back in 2015 as a NaNoWriMo project he could never come up with a good one. This Book’s genre is YA Supernatural, but that’s only as helpful as any genre tag (IE: not very) so I shall describe it further. This Book is primarily about reincarnation, but it also features mythical creatures such as angels (known here as Seraphs), demons, Byzantines, as well as homeschoolers. Two mythical homeschoolers in fact make up the main characters of this work, a pair of siblings named Grayson and Kish. They live in metro Atlanta in the year 2019 AD with their Aunt. On one particular day they are plunged into a rabbit hole of spiritual and metaphysical politics by the arrival of a mysterious one-eyed Green haired woman and strange humanoid creatures into their lives.
