《sHe: THE BATTLE OF THE NEW BREED (BOOK 2)》Chapter 11

JOANA WAS in her bedroom, her head moved a little while she recovered from the anaesthetic. Her boisterous elder butch sister was inside with Lee beside her bed. Roxy Gailman stroked Joana's forehead, "you okay kiddo?" The younger teenager nodded with her eyes closed, still breathing shallow.
General Roxy Gailman continued her tête-à-tête with her trusted Aryan soldier, she fumed while she relating the current events to the trusted Lee who had stayed behind at the farmhouse with Cynthia as her grandmother's bodyguards—instead of being at her side at the battlefront in New Orleans...
"That bastard Robbie Jensen then intervened into the warzone with bigger guns and tanks when we were almost winning in beating them pigs—or else it would have been an act of sweet Aryan revenge after all the strikes the bitch-cop made on the Sisterhood camps. I should have killed that cunt years ago back in Columbus!"
The room reeked of medicine and it further constricted her to calm down her anger; Roxy turned back to her sleeping sister, placed her hand on her...
"Okay, you rest well, Jo. I will bring Ma the next time—and I hope your grandma behaves." Roxy touched her cheek before walked to the door. Lee inquired as she followed her out...
"General, what about the he-she freak? We took away his rifle but he is still a potential threat to everyone here."
"Kill him, and bury that pile of shit in the backyard."
Both Roxy and Lee hear a pistol click behind them—they turn to see Joana pointing a loaded pistol at them, whispering back. "Lee, if you ever touch him, I swear that I will blow your brains off. That freak just saved my life, the least I can do in return is to let him live."
Roxy released nervous laughter, "okay kiddo, he is all yours and have it your way for now; but if he harms anyone or even the house-cat—I will make sure that you pull that trigger yourself...now you go and rest, that is an order!"
Both the Aryan sister-boys left the bedroom.
*
They both spotted Marlin at the dinner table eating some beef stew. Mrs Scott was also sitting at the head of the table on the other end. Roxy removing her bomber jacket, revealing her Aryan tattoos along with some demonic mystical creatures' designs—and a Che Guevara image was inked on her right biceps.
"General, are you staying for dinner?" Cynthia invited her.
"Yeah, why not—it is been a while since I had Grandma's cooking..."
Roxy felt the hostility after scrutinizing the quiet Mrs. Scott wiping her mouth with a napkin and left the table to return back to her bedroom. Roxy instantly lost her appetite—she eased the embarrassment tension of being unwelcome by chuckling.
Roxy went on picking a bottle of Wild Turkey whiskey from the shelf—laughing out louder to provoke her grandma who slammed her room door.

The raffish Roxy sat across Marlin who also ceased his eating—and the Intersexual was expecting more discriminating Aryan remarks to be hurled at him...
"Hey freak, you got a name?" the narcissist swigged to drink straight from the bottle to show control.
"Marlin." He was leery and did not reveal his last name.
"Holy catfish! Welcome to the bayou, you got the name of a fucking fish too."
The other three rambunctious sister-boys at the back were amused—Roxy Gailman sat down, and was growing miserable in disenchantment with thoughts from the recent battle loss—she refilled her next drink into a glass; she was not in the mood to bash Marlin any further and instead she wheedled...
"So you must have been one of the Preacher's boys—I must say that you she-fuckers put a good fight in New Orleans until that that Jensen came in. That cunting cop Jensen appearing out of nowhere like a bitch-version of Captain America and cheesin' anal volcano shit all over on us with shells and mortars.
"I should have killed her a long time back then. In fact, that bitch and I go way back—and I can't still believe myself growing up as friends with her back then in Columbus—you know where Columbus is, right. fish?"
Marlin remembered Reeves at that moment; who grew up in Ohio. He was called and accused as being related to Roberta Jensen by some in Tombscradle...
'Was he actually related to this Jensen-cop?'
Roxy was now paying attention back to Marlin during her storytelling while belched out from the whiskey bent.
"Ohio," Marlin uttered.
"Bingo, what a clever fish you are! Yep, way back there in O-fuckin'-high-O, we had this small setup going—our very own gang—we called ourselves 'The Supreme Throttlers'—it was my very own motorcycle gang...
"We all even got our own tattoos." Roxy pointed at hers which was above the Che Guevara tattoo...
"Even fuckin' Capt. America Jensen has got one too."
Roxy noticed Marlin's tattoo on his left arm and needled him.
"Look here, our fish got one in Japanese—what it says—is it an ad to eat Sushi?"
Almost close, as Marlin thought of his girlfriend, Suki, who relished soixante-neuf—they both loved it.
Roxy lighted up a cigarette and drank more whiskey, and spoke out her mind. "I treated her like my own blood-sister back then but that ungrateful fuckin' dyke decided to be a cop—and by then, I just had to fuck the hell off and I left fuckin' Ohio to be here in Jackson with my mother and my kid sister—you got any siblings, fish? (...whatever your name is?)"
"No, I am the only child."
Roxy laughed. "Same here, freak, I was the only kid for the longest time until my mother had Jo...I was 14 or 15, I think back then."

She stopped talking and drank more Wild Turkey, blowing smoke directly at the Adonis to get his attention...
"Little Jo—so you both are around the same age, and I think my kid sister fancies you, fish."
Roxy laughed again as she recurred the thought a moment ago when Joana pointed a loaded gun at her and Lee in the bedroom.
Roxy spoke louder now so that she can be understood by all those who were behind closed doors...
"Jo is the odd one out in the family who did not turn up as a sister-boy like the rest of us—and I blame grandma who raised her as a little pretty girl."
The Aryan sisters-boys all joined in laughing, and saw Roxy pointing at Marlin and slurred, "but hey you, now remember always that she is a soldier of the Brand first—so you better listen hard, fish—because I am gonna say this only once—don't you knock her up and breed any fries okay. We need her to stand up with us and fight Cory's army after the fuckin' hits Jensen had put on our camps—is that fuckin' clear, freak—or should I shoot your dick off 'now' as a precaution?"
Roxy stared forcefully at the 'inferior-being' in front of her after the coercion warning she made. The unarmed Marlin then nodded back; he knew the intimidation will start sooner or later after the butch was inebriated.
He finally spoke up to the Aryan leader, "in fact, I want to leave in the morning. I came here to safely deliver Joana to her grandmother—now with that done, I need to continue my way back."
"Where are you heading to?" Roxy asked after a short pause
"Heading east."
"Fish, are you dumb or stupid, or both? It is 'open season' for she-freaks out there with their massive roadblocks and curfews ever since the New Orleans attack—and now you want to walk into Cory's path and die? You don't seem to be like the sharpest tool in the Preacher's shed."
"I will take my chances."
Marlin responded his desire even though Roxy had a valid point—and he knew the consequences of death if an OGA insurgent was found captured at the martial roadblocks; but right now, he has not enjoyed anybody's company since he got into the hostile sister-boys' environment in the farmhouse after more than twelve hours ago.
Roxy pointed at him, half-standing off her seat...
"No, you are fuckin' staying put here, you hear me, period!"
"I can't, I need to go, I have urgent matters..."
Roxy slammed the table with a fist...
"What if you get caught and rat about us here in the farmhouse? You will jeopardize everyone's safety out here." The one in the sorority called Lee voiced out from his back...
"We can always go to the first option, General—we can bury him in the backyard."
Roxy was back to her jovial self again, easing the rest of provoked women with their readiness with their firearms after the 'inferior-being' spoke up against their General...
"No, that will break Little Jo's heart—this big fish outta water here is her knight in shining armour who rode her home to safety from the battlefield."
They all laughed when Roxy stood up prancing on an imaginary horse—she then finishing her drink before finalizing her command once again...
"I am going to keep my word with Jo and let you live, fish—but till then, you are under the detention of the Aryan Sisterhood—but I promise that I will let you go when things cool off back east. Treat this place as your R&R for now, after that screwed-up battle we fought in New-fucking-Orleans."
Roxy was laughing drunk and wagging her finger jokingly at Lee who stood among the other doubting butches...
"Lee, I want this guy still kicking alive when I come back the next time with Ma, okay?"
The general slipped back on her bomber jacket before she snapped her finger to her great big bodyguard, "Bigfoot, let's bounce." She was then talking aloud to herself, "that is a fuckin' good whiskey over there—it will be a long chilly ride back to base just on time for some hot supper."
*
Lee accompanied Roxy with a flashlight in the dark, with the three figures walking on the bumpy field towards the plane. Roxy climbed into the anterior cockpit while the giant squeezing herself into the rear compartment. Roxy turned to Lee...
"I will be back in a couple of days with Ma. If the freak tries to escape—shoot and kill him!"
*
Marlin was still annoyed with himself after the Aryan Sisterhood General's decree—and he felt he had never learned his lesson from the numerous times risking his neck out into some female problems in his life; just like the risks he took with Suki in his past even after with her cousin Ken was breathing down tepidly on his neck with vicious threats—that finished him then with five years served in Tombscradle—and now once again for Joana—and her arrogant older sister's diktat has ended up with him as a prisoner for the second time in Mississippi...
'Is doing the right thing worth the while?'
He heard the General Gailman's plane soaring above the farmhouse roof, rattling some of the plastic photo frames in the living room—one with an older Roxy photo with a twelve-year-old Joana dropped on the floor.

Among other things, I separated it into a new book as it has elements of progressive LitRPG and a fantasy-world setting.Since I'll keep on writing The Wardens of Destiny, this will be one of my side-projects. Eventually in the future, I plan to integrate some of the protagonists in this story with the main storyline.
